I loved playing PSO back on the Dreamcast (and even played some of it on PC on some free servers) so I'll at least give it a shot. Hope it's more PSO than Phantasy Star Universe.

Vig, or anyone else.  What is the best deal on a new PS4 right now?  A co worker who I used to game with sometimes on 360 wants to get back into gaming and wants a PS4.  

I will check the deal threads here but figured someone might know of a good deal.

Cartwheel has regularly been having offers for them. One just ended Saturday. Usually only 10-15% off, but it's better than a swift kick in the ass. I'm sure another will be around soon enough.

We are getting our quarterly bonus this Friday or next though and he is looking to buy now. Will mention it to him though. Also told him if he could hold out till BF Amazon Best Buy should have a decent deal maybe with a couple of games.

I would assume so since there was a separate PSTV deal last week, but I can't be sure since the only exclusions listed are "games and accessories". When in doubt, scan the barcode in the store before heading to the register (if they're not behind the lock box of course).

The dude that sets up the PS offers is gone for the day, but I can ask him tomorrow to be sure.

I thought when I got mine it was a Vita cartwheel deal but it worked on PSTV. I am not certain though.

ETA: Ignore this, Zimm would know better than me.

The amazon deal during their prime day was $400 for the system, Batman, Witcher 3, and a year of Plus so I wouldn't be surprised if there were some equivalent BB bundle during the weekend sale. The issue with the Last of US pack-in edition is the digital version is so cheap that there isn't much added value there as it's regularly $10-15. So unless one had no interest in Batman I would rather wait for a deal on that bundle.

It wont be a quick turn, but if he happens to have a Discover card and has cash back bonus money sitting there you can get 10% off Gamestop money with it.  It won't be the quickest turnaround or probably even the best deal at this point.  However, that along with any possible reward points for Gamestop if he has them might not be a bad combo.

ETA: They have the same for groupon.  Although it does not appear to be an ecert on it either surprisingly.  If so, it could have stacked with that other offer.

I will post the UPC for the Lego Movie one tonight. Or I guess I could just scan it when I get home.

I am pretty sure that in the not to distant past there was a cartwheel deal that work on Vita TV. I know I bought mine at Target and got a good deal at the time.

 
I'm going with no on the PSTV's as searching for the Vita Borderlands DPCI brings up the offer on Cartwheel but does not if you enter the PSTV DPCIs.
