I will post the UPC for the Lego Movie one tonight. Or I guess I could just scan it when I get home.

I am pretty sure that in the not to distant past there was a cartwheel deal that work on Vita TV. I know I bought mine at Target and got a good deal at the time.
I scanned my Lego Movie Vita TV bundle. UPC 711719052418. Said no offers but suggested I might be interested in Vitas which are 15% off.

It shows the Borderlands 2 bundle but the description mentions the OLED screen.

Anyway doesn't seem to work on that Vita TV bundle.

Tembo is available now on Xbox. Must resist.. although I guess there's no benefit in waiting for PS4 since there's no multiplayer. Wouldn't be able to rock that sweet, sweet trophy card, though.

We switched to Progressive in January. Upped all our limits to max tiers and managed to cut our annual insurance bill by about $2000. Our old company wanted to charge us $3200 for two cars, one that drives maybe 500 miles a year (a truck that we use only for running trash to the dump) and a 2005 Subaru. We went with Progressive and they gave us a crazy low rate for our mid tier limits, so we just maxed everything and we're paying $1200 a year now.

define expensive. and great. I think if you actually know that your insurance is great from experience, that's probably why it's pretty expensive.
year costs are about $2200 and by great, I mean theyre easy to deal with, dont give me any problems

im looking at esurance though and it would cut my costs by about $700 for the same coverage

granted its only been 7 months but are u happy with the service so far?

You should never have to talk to insurance. If you do your fucked anyway. So go with the lowest rate from a AAA company.

Jesus it costs a fortune to insure cars in Boston!

Seriously. Before we added the teenager we were at a little under $1200 a year for two people/two cars (one with full coverage for a lease). I have no idea if my insurance is easy to deal with because I haven't talked to them.

Edit - oh that says $1200, I thought it said $2200. That seems normal to me?

Edit 2 - don't insure a teenager

insurance is in case shit happens

if shit happens i dont want to get caught with my pants down

i go for high coverages, for similar plan at progressive, itll save me almost 500

We switched last year from State Farm to Hanover.  I had State Farm since I was a teenager.

Anyway we bought a house and shopped insurance.  State Farm wasn't even competitive with their prices for 2 cars and the house.

Probably switch again though.  My dad is a vet and as such he can get insurance from USAA and so can I.  Going to get some quotes at least.  We pay $1000 or so for two cars and $1000 for the house.  A bit under I think on both but not much.

One of our cars is starting to really age and the value after deductible I don't think leaves much of a pay out so we might consider dropping collision.

My parents had some water damage this winter and were not happy with State Farm's response.  After decades of being a loyal customer they are switching (probably to USAA).  The office we dealt with was/is family owned.  The father was awesome and gave personal service.  The son grew the shit out of the business but you basically deal with the toll free lines now.

what are ur limits?

i do 100/300/50 for liability (bodily injury/property), 100/300 for uninsured, 10k for medical payments, 500 deductibles on everything and itll be 1720 a year for me

The last level in StarDrone was no joke--it must have taken me 30+ tries. Thank goodness I got a bronze medal the first time I finished it or I might have thrown my Vita across the room.

Sounds about the same but we do $1000 deductible on each car. If I remember I pull up the policy tomorrow to make sure it isn't much less coverage.

i was toying with the deductibles and putting collision up to 1000 dropped monthly payment about $50, adjusting comprehensive was negligible so ill leave it at 500, if i remove medical payments to 0 (i dont think i really need that since my health insurance covers 100% costs), it drops my yearly costs to 1500

I haven't had to talk to them, so it's hard to judge. The real test of an insurance company is how they handle the situation when something happens. We've had two smaller, mostly local companies, and they were both terrible.

I was in a big accident in 2009, broke my leg, totaled my father in laws truck. All 100% another persons fault, which the police basically said within minutes of showing up. Even after all the official reports were filed that said the woman who hit me was 100% at fault, the insurance company still fought me every step of the way...and I wasn't even asking for any payment from them. They were refusing to file reports to my lawyers and the other person's insurance and delayed everything for as long as possible. Absolute nightmare.

With our second company, the one we just switched from, my wife got into an accident and everything was resolved in pretty much a day or two. I called them, filed a report, and they took care of everything...calling the hospital, collecting bills, etc.

It was almost like that first company knew they weren't getting anything out of it since they couldn't spike my rate since I wasn't at fault, but when my wife was at fault (she slipped on ice and hit a guardrail) they were happy to take care of everything. Maybe it was because we were giving them $3200 a year.

Insurance rates don't really mean anything until you factor in service... everyone loves their insurance company until they have to make a claim.

edit: or what stotch said

We have USAA and love it. We pay about $1200 per year for two vehicles and two drivers; I think are limits are the same with $500 deductible. Also have USAA for the house; that's about $1100 per year.

I t-boned a guy at the beginning of the year; dumbass pulled out in front of me. He had crummy insurance. USAA said not to worry about it. They took care of all the leg work. Had a rental for about a week, and then got my truck back. I paid zip, and didn't have to wait on the other guys insurance. USAA is a great company.

yeah, pretty much every insurance company has shitty reviews online, i think im gonna try esurance, if it ends up being shitty after something happens, ill go back to aaa

my bodily injury is 100k, isnt that what thats for?
Ha, yup, I was wrong. I swear someone claimed it against me and it hit my medical payments line though. Probably something fishy because we both had State Farm.

That shit's the worst - when both of you have the same insurance company, because they don't care about fault at that point.

There's also a coverage option for protection against underinsured drivers. I'd up that if you can. For my accident, the chick who hit me only had bottom tier limits, so I didn't make out as well as I could've. But at the end of the day, I got six months off work to lay in bed, play video games, and be high on Percocet while some dumb bitch who couldn't wait two seconds to get her candy bar paid off my student loans and my car.

I have All-State.  I had an accident when I was 17 and it covered everything with no problems.  I assumed I could get better rates when I got my own policy and renters insurance initially and then again when I got homeowners and both times I was wrong when looking at similar coverage.  I should probably shop around again now, but I have just been lazy about it.

My wife worked for a car insurance company that was bought by Hartford long ago.  According to her we had a good rate for what we got at the time.  She has been away from it for so long I am not sure if she would know now.

From my times at jury duty, I know I would stay away from State Farm.  They are ALWAYS getting sued here.  Every single time I have had jury duty they always ask if you have State Farm or own State Farm stock.  I laughed when someone else told me that before my first time going to jury duty but they were right and it has happened every single time.

Watching south park live at 9pm and cartman said and I quote..."piss out my ass and on kyles mom's fat fucking jew face.". Not bleeped. They don't normally do that this early...

yeah im trying to figure out what the point of that is, granted, it says medical services and funeral payments, so maybe its just if they die, the recommended amount is only 1000 though, so i think ill just skip it, my current plan has 10k

yeah mine is at 100k/300k, i think thats about the highest it goes

If you have a passenger in your car who gets hurt it can be used for that.

There's an idiot on that engadget link Pharm shared earlier about TLOU vinyl soundtrack who thinks no one buys soundtracks from video games that aren't "real" songs.

Our insurance rates keep going up. (Even though we've had one minor claim in  8 years)

Have Allstate.

But the hassle of shopping around, and then figuring out what to do with the house insurance as well just doesn't seem worth the hassle.

I have Travelers for insurance although I should probably shop around again when my policy comes up next year.  I had an accident back in 2013 (driver in front of me stopped short) that spiked my rates so I pay around $90 a month.

State Farm here as well. 1836 a year for 2 cars + home. Had to file a claim for my totaled 2002 Mustang 18 months ago. BB value was ~2k, they gave me around $6k for some reason, IIRC. I had no complaints.

most of the complaints about state farm are from non-state farm drivers whining that state farm is being assholes to them on behalf of their drivers, sounds like my type of company

Talked about golf? Check.

Talked about insurance? Check.

If we could just discuss the merger between Santa Fe and Burlington Northern railroads we'd be my grandpa.
