I was in the kitchen eating, didn't see that party invite.
No problem. I assumed you werent at your PS4.

Trying to do solo runs of Shadow Raid on hard. It is going about as well as I expected. I have always just been the bag delivery boy so I do not know the layout inside yet :)

I actually haven't even ran that mission yet, so I doubt I'd be much help.
It was one of the ones I knew was all about stealth and was not a bank heist. I would miss my saw too much trying to do those.

Definitely should have gone ahead and got the extra body bags. Only having one just screwed me.

Man that guy is so smart! He uses lots of big and obscure words and he is so awesome for doing so!

Won both the half time prize of a free round and the overall top prize of a $20 gift card at brewery tap room trivia tonight.

I kind of liked that review, actually. Although I couldn't tell if he was bagging on Revenge of the Nerds or not. If so, fuck that guy.

His point about how a lot of comedy has degenerated to Family Guy levels of "hey, I recognize that reference so it's funny" is spot on.

I still think Family Guy can be really funny because it isnt just about getting the reference. Its about taking it to the extreme and doing something so outlandish it can be funny/cringe worthy.

Only the 99-Lives trophy remains for Tembo. After finishing the game with <10 lives, though, I'm not looking forward to replaying the same 1-2 levels 80-90 times.

It took less time than I thought to get 100% otherwise (5 hours, 17 minutes), but I'm still glad I bought it.

EDIT: Never mind, someone posted a faster method: http://psnprofiles.com/forums/topic/29147-peanut-butter-farming/
you have to remember that you chew through games a lot faster than most people, so take 60% of whatever a reviewer says for length and that'll probably be your time. I just started on the 2nd world. I know that I'm generally terrible at video games but I have found tembo to be kinda tough. not in a bad way at all, but I'm going to have to actually work at getting through it.

Tembo is definitely more difficult than most side-scrollers (especially in later levels), which was refreshing.

I hope it gets a sequel or quasi-sequel featuring some other badass animal.

Dying Light will supposedly be getting a "major expansion", with vehicle-driving being teased: http://gematsu.com/2015/07/dying-light-teases-major-expansion-shown-gamescom

It'll first be shown behind closed doors at Gamescom, with a public reveal planned for shortly after.
Cool. I was very pleasantly surprised by Dying Light. Techland seemed to learn a lot since making Dead Island. I still need to actually go back and beat the game. There are a TON of side quests that I got caught up doing. Should probably focus on the story missions when I get back to it.

I played the Tembo demo since I had it. The game does seem pretty tough. I almost didn't finish the 2nd level without using up all my lives. Cool game, but I didn't see what the difference was between some of the moves. Like press x and hold square (I think that was it), vs just press x and square at the same time. Maybe I wasn't doing it right.

I tried activating the GoW3 infinite health/magic/max weapon glitch for my Titan playthrough this morning, and no matter how many times I died, it wouldn't ask me to lower the difficulty (and thus activate the glitch).  I set everything up exactly like the pst.org thread and a youtube video says.  Yes with Titan difficulty in the combat arena.

Mucho frustration!

Maybe--do you remember what the moves were? I don't recall one that required X+Square simultaneously.

Alright I am up. The Fighting Street The Fifth beta better be up.

Dammit. It is not. Wont be available until 6pm

When you press them both you roll into a ball and go down and to the right and bounce when you hit the ground.
yeah I think it's more like a jump attack - jump then hit box to launch down and to the right and bounce. hitting them at the same time would probably provide more random results. the little tutorial pictures weren't the best.

does this glitch take long to setup? I might give it a shot tomorrow morning for kicks since that is apparently the easiest god of war plat and I've already finished it once. I guess I could go check pst.org but you're right here.

edit - oh figs do I have to beat the challenge of olympus first? I apparently didn't bother. and what's the labyrinth? I haven't beaten that without dying or failing either.

Best Buy black friday in July sucks for games, but I did buy one of those Logitech wireless mice for home for $10 since our current one has gone haywire.

Looks like I'll be getting rid of that Xbone I bought a few months back (and still never set up): Gamestop offers $225 for just the console, $30 for the AC Adapter, and $22 for the controller. I can trade in the console this weekend and hold on to the adapter and controller until the new 50% coupons go live.

You're on PS3, right? Make sure you deleted any patches.

You sure it works like that? I thought a console had to include adapter and a controller. They are separate trades?

...You might be right. I saw this listing for "console only" and thought that meant you didn't need anything else, kind of like how Best Buy doesn't require a controller for console trade-ins, but I suppose that just distinguishes it from the console+Kinect listing.

That only adds up to $277 without any bonuses right? Couldn't you do better on EBay?

It likely doesn't matter now based on what Chewy pointed out, but it would have been just over $300 after the 50% bonus + PUR on the accessories and I wouldn't have had to deal with paying for shipping or potential eBay-seller annoyance. It also would have made a tidy profit after I paid ~$220 for the XB1 after tax.

Yeah that's just the Kinect-less console. You'd have to include the controller and adapter for sure. Still, $225 isn't terrible for me since I want a new warranty and the 1 TB model...
