I do need to start going to all these breweries we have here. Cigar City, Tampa Bay, Coppertail and this new one called Six Ten. Florida Avenue is near where I grew up. Angry Chair is well known now it seems. Any others you know?
Cigar City, Rapp, Cycle, 7venth Sun, Green Bench, Brew Bus, and Angry Chair are all the ones I have had stuff I liked from.

how many of you have a tv in the bedroom? I had one when I was single but not since and I didn't really use it when I did. Sounds like it's pretty common?
Before we bought a house late last year we had a 32" TV in the bedroom of our apartment. It was our only TV for a while. Then I guess 6 years ago around BF we bought a 50" plasma for the Living room and the 32 moved into the bedroom.

The house we bought had a wall mount already in the bedroom. We had some sheetrock work being done in other rooms (And actually a small section of the ceiling in the bedroom). Thought about taking it down and having it patched up but decided to keep it. Right around BF when we were moving in and Best Buy had a 50" LED on sale for $399 with free shipping. So that is what is in the bedroom. The 50" plasma in the living room and the 32" in the basement which almost never is used. Want to buy a larger TV for the living room and move the 50" plasma down for gaming. And either put the 32" in one of the spare rooms with just a Chromecast or Roku on it or maybe get rid of it.

I hope Supergiant isn't actually using any of their own resources on that Bastion Vita port. I'd much rather them just work on a new game.
Dislike! Supergiant seems like they'd do a good job with the port. They did the ports for PC, iPad, iPhone, Chrome, and PS4 themselves. I don't see why they'd switch to somebody else now, especially after they said it's important to them to do ports themselves:

We have a TV in our bedroom but I don't really like to watch TV there. I have to pile up pillows so I can look at the screen and even then I'm craning my neck a bit to see it. It's not really comfortable. I guess I could get a pair of these:

You should get one of those bed pillows with the arms so you can sit up in bed.

It's time, Chewy.

My bedroom TV (Panasonic 42" plasma) is actually better than my main TV (Samsung 52" LCD).  Way better picture, and better for gaming (low lag).  But the main TV has my crazy surround sound setup, so that's the go-to.

I've been toying with getting a new main TV, but I can't justify it when they both still work perfectly well.

zimm -

I set up a ps3 with a turbo controller doing ranked matches if you (or anyone else) feel like working out some divekick trophies. I think it'll work, I guess we'll see. I gotta play some sfv tonight.

Who said they hated it? I thought it was awesome, especially the harder modes where you're timed and can die in 1-2 hits.
I only skim the thread these days but I thought stotch said gtaV was the first good rockstar game

I thought rdr was great too, but i didn't finish it.

That Tembo lives-farming method I linked to is much slower than I thought--it takes about 2.5 minutes just to get the 300 peanuts for one life. Playing Level 11 (3-1) repeatedly seems to be more reliable (and fun) with about 3 lives every 5-minute run.

No physical release of Revelations 2 is balls. But if the port ends up sucking I guess it won't matter much.

Anyone playing Life is Strange? I wouldn't bother with it until it gets a decent sale for the season but it looks like the reviews are actually on the upswing instead of the Telltale pattern of having short and inconsequential middle chapters.

And the only review out for Lost Dimension doesn't look too good. Maybe it will surprise me.

Here's a very brief, audio-less gameplay video for Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir that was apparently hidden in the new website's code:

Bully tends to get a lot of love. L.A. Noire is popular as well. Stotch was just being Stotch.
I'll say it every time it comes up. Every GTA game was brilliant when it first came out. Older ones are certainly clunky looking back, but they were really something at launch. Overrated? I can see how people would think that. Bad? No way.

I've never actually played a Rockstar game. I have RDR on my list for #AdventureAugust, though. Depending on how much I like it I'll probably start working in some of their other titles.
