Good to see I'm not the only one who isn't blindly swooning over Tembo.
Don't mistake my logical criticisms for a discarding of my blind swoon! It's still a beautifully drawn game that's mostly fun to play and a great concept. It's still one of the more interesting things that's been out in a long while.

That's one of the main reasons I had zero problems buying Tembo at release--I want more of these types of games, darn it!

Breach & Clear is $2.25. That's tempting. Anybody play it? There's not a single pst.org forum post for it, so I've no idea what the port or trophy situation is like, but it has a Very Positive user rating on Steam.

Flame Over is $4. Ever get a patch for those trophy issues, Tyler? I noticed you still have the most recent pst.org post (10 days ago) and nobody responded to you.

I'm tempted by Jungle Rumble for $1.70 and Color Guardians for $6, but I think Color Guardians will get cheaper.

May also grab the Dragon Fantasy bundle for $4 even though I already have part 1 and I know it's buggy.

This is weird. OlliOlli is showing up with a price for me and an option to buy even though I own it. Anybody else seeing the same thing?

fuck yeah to PS3 Risk for $5! Any other suckers still playing on that ancient system and wanna get their world dominated, let me know.
The board game is great but I've never played another version. How is the PS3 edition? Fun and faithful to the original?

I remember playing Global Wars on BBSes back in the day. Was like Risk but I think a bit more simplified. I actually ran a BBS and someone paid for the game for me.

I've tried Mutant Mudds Deluxe twice and didn't like it much either time. I didn't find it to be much fun. Also it was free, so you're dumb for paying for it.

I had no Idea the Condemned series had such a trippy / nightmare component to it. I thought it was just a detective smacking psycho homeless dudes and gang members in the face with rebar and toilet seats. I am also unsure why
children's dolls are coming to life and are packed with explosives
but it's pretty fuck ing disturbing, especially from within the constricted view of a gas mask.

Has anybody played "Rock Boshers DX: Director's Cut"? It has 5 stars on PSN from 23 ratings. So not that many. But $2.10
Sounds like a buy. Too bad the Vita version isn't on sale/it's not cross-buy.
Definitly worth $2.10. It's a very fun game. Just right difficulty. Also the PS4 page says it's cross-buy. I imagine this game is best played on Vita vs. PS4.

Me: "oh cool, that puddle game is just a buck and some change."

Me: *reads psn store description*

Description: "Play by using the PS Vita system's motion detection functionalities or the rear touch pad!"

Me: *throws a buck and some change in to the sewer so I can never be tempted to buy puddle*

Exactly my reaction. Man, I hate motion-control-only games.

Wasn't Risk Factions some kind of hybrid Risk game with some elements thrown into a new kinda deal?
See "Probably have not played" for answer.

I was always under the possibly false impression that there is a mode that is basically classic risk, but that the majority of the game has new junk or is streamlined or whatever. Is the new Risk just plain old risk?

Finished what I had left on the challenges run for Bionic Commando. Debated whether I should just start the next playthrough and get the plat. Just gonna do it. Shouldnt be annoying when you dont need to worry about fancy kills and collectibles. Also the last time I played it was in 2011, so if I put it off I will be getting this plat in 2019 (never)

Zimm, after you get a PS4, I'll buy Risk the next time it is on sale to play it with you.  I just know with even as much as I love the game that I don't love it enough to get it for PS3 when there is a PS4 option.

If it is the highest difficulty run, those snipers in that one section are a PITA. It is definitely easier overall though because of what you mentioned and not having to worry about missing a collectible and finishing a section without knowing it.

Risk Factions:
"Risk it all to dominate the world, one faction at a time! The original game of strategy and world domination comes to the PlayStation®Network - with a surprise twist! Wage war with five factions, each with unique abilities. Command your army with strategic thinking and tactical gambles and you just might win the day."

On sale Risk:
"[Modern combat meets RISK - the classic game of global domination. RISK steps into the near future with modern armies. Using the 2010 rules as standard, Risk offers an exciting strategic experience. Direct the war from your high-tech control room, fighting on the classic map layout on 3D Deploy tanks, planes and infantry… All in the modern warfare twist on the classic game of global domination! Online league play allows you to compete with people from around the world."

So seems like new Risk is just regular old risk jacked up with modern shit, but still regular old Risk. Factions is fancy Risk with shit Risk people don't want.
