The suspension being upheld isn't surprising. All the dudes on the radio have been saying this is going to end up in federal court, which is the next step. The speculation is that Goodell was going to uphold the four games so that he looks strong in the eyes of the owners and the rest of the league. Then if it gets shot down in federal court he can be all like hey guys I tried my best, but its out of my hands.
But Brady apologists are the absolute worst. So many people on Facebook, local TV, radio, etc, all talking about how he doesn't deserve it because he didn't kill anyone or beat his wife or kids and he's suspended for half a season. Basically using the "The other guy did something worse" argument to rationalize how it's ok for him to cheat.
