Also, more nonsense about that game nobody cares about anymore because it's overhyped and it's cool to dislike things that are hyped:

The only thing that sounds concerning is what happens if you die in space--it sounds like you lose pretty much everything with no chance of recovery unlike dying on a planet, where you lose items/discoveries which you could have periodically stored/uploaded.

If true, that pretty much dissuaded me from doing serious space-fighting.

You either went to the Therm school of image picking or tried to get one specifically from the show. This one is much better.

Option B, wanted a show screencap to help recognition. Yes your pic is way better.

Destructoid didn't like Submerged: http://www.destructoid.com/review-submerged-297002.phtml

Within under ten minutes time you'll have experienced all the game has to offer; boring boating, equally dull scaling of buildings and peering out a periscope to find the next white and green building to climb. There is no failstate, no urgency, no combat, just moving from point to point and monotonously collecting shit. The story isn't interesting, the gameplay is boring, everything looks the same aside from a few landmarks, and the whole ordeal is over in no time.
You're better off saving your money instead of sinking it on the titanic failure that is Submerged.

Cool I guess I missed that Lara Croft game was going to be part of August PS Plus.  It is the  only game I am even going to bother downloading.

Or both?
For me it him thinking Domino's is good.

Just got my copy of IA/VT Colorful for Vita delivered. It came with 2 pre-order codes that I can't use but an extra cover which is nice.

The big shock was opening the game and seeing a full color manual in the box.

Now time to check out the game and see how bad I'm at playing it.

Liberal Bee Jays. That is the actual name of a college summer baseball team (Liberal is the town). Though before you laugh, you should know that there is a REALLY sad story associated with this team right now. Still, how could there not have been even one person who pointed out that this was a bad idea for a team name?

Speaking of things that are sad and serious, but jesus is it hard not to laugh: there is a sign on 95 saying that a stretch of the road is dedicated in honor of a guy named Shaft Hunter.

Crunchy with the cryptic messages.

I heard about it yesterday, but it is pretty sad. Poor kid.

If you've been grabbing the Games With Gold from the start, then you already have 1, 3, and Judgment.
Not that I mind freebies, and not that I have an X1 but stuff like this is starting to fall by the wayside for me. I mean especially if I've already played something through it just doesn't mean a whole lot.

On the other side of the women and their emotional logic coin, I intended to play Rocket League last night after the kids went to bed. However, the wife was channel surfing and landed on The Matrix. It was the movie we saw on our first date, so it fired up an emotional, nostalgic itch for her. Needless to say I didn't play Rocket League, nor did I see the whole movie. Some itches just have to be scratched.

Odd new truetrophies feature: showing series completion:

http://www.truetrophies.com/serieslist.aspx?mine=1

Another new truetrophies feature? It keeps dropping me back below tyler because everyone and their brother is getting the geometry wars 3 plat now.
MUST B EZ

It looks like it only counts things you've started (even DLC) because there's no way I have 96% on the uncharted series when I didn't even touch the DLC for 3.

EDIT: Nevermind. Still counts AC games I never played.
Yeah i played it a few times at the arcade. Like you said, it's really fun but really hard.

Man I misread what you posted as I thought they were going to bring it to consoles. I some versions for $5000 but still way to costly.
I asked on their Facebook page (stalker's opportunity right here!) and they told me they would be bringing it to consoles pending a successful mobile release. Hopefully the controller is high quality.

IGN has this (Therm-like) tendency to post European news without mentioning that it's European.
Yeah, and a month old. And he says the August games are already out. Looks like Wesley Copeland commutes via the short bus.

Actually, that IGN link links to the European PS blog from last June where they mentioned it. I don't know why some idiot at IGN would post about it a month after.
Munky me pointed me to their reviews of Wayward Pines, which are just embarrassing for a site that big. Among other things, the author uses the word penultimate wrong (twice) and describes the show (in the tagline no less) as a "Matt Damon miniseries"

http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/08/02/wayward-pines-season-1-review

Actually looks like the 2nd issue was finally corrected, about a day later.

Ouch. I am playing it as we speak. I definitely don't think it's that bad. It's very heavy exploration so if you're not into that you're not going to like it, but the exploration works well. The map works well and is generous and records all the locations of secrets and stuff. The atmosphere is enjoyable and the story has me at least interested at this point. The climbing does get dull, but it honestly works well and is simple. The game is by no means challenging, but neither is Journey and grown men still apparently cry over that game.

I like the new feature on TrueTrophies, but it seems to be a bit inconsistent at the moment.  For example, it lists both versions of LBP3 (PS3 and PS4) but does not do the same for AC:Black Flag.  It makes it look like AC Liberation Vita does not exist as well.  It only has the HD version.

At least mine does not factor in for DLC.  Maybe that is do to my other settings for ignoring DLC I do not own though.

Justified is another series whose IGN reviews suck. For later seasons, the reviewer gave 6-7/10 scores for episodes that were closer to 8-9/10 or even 10/10 and had weird complaints (e.g., not knowing where a season was going by the first few episodes when he praised something like that in an earlier season, wishing the show was less of a slow-burn in an early episode then wishing it would slow down in a later episode).

Submerged actually reminds me of a 3D version of Knytt Underground. Probably not a rousing recommendation to most, but I enjoyed Knytt and am enjoying this enough so far.

Kinda weird that TT has Diablo seperated out as a series with only Diablo 3 and the UEE out for it. But for some reason it's not showing Ratchet and Clank as one?

Even more odd that the Wipeout 2 game based on the stupid TV show game is lumped in the Wipeout racing games, lol.
