When you were engaged were you already thinking about things you disliked about her body and habits and also banging other chicks?
Absolutely nothing wrong with the first two, IMO. Acknowledging your partner isn't perfect is a different thing from not wanting to marry her. Even the third is okay depending on the relationship.

yeah she wasn't perfect but neither am I. I agree with therm on that stuff as it shouldn't be a problem since no one is perfect. But I never thought of cheating. Not that I didn't look at other chicks and think about banging them. But that's normal for everyone.

Yup, and the artes linking one for the other one. I powered through and got the plat this morning.
What did you think of the other "endings"? Personally I liked the Arena one, if only because
both Ludger and Elle survive. It was also pretty funny to watch.

Ha, I was about to post about how good that ending was, but realized you and me are the only ones who've played it.

You better get busy on something else. Apparently Pancakes is planning to get 20k TT points in 2 days now
He's going to plat Pinball Arcade on all three platforms.

He set a goal against you as well :) I think Pancakes is planning to become a full-time gamer.

I'm flying solo tonight.  Wife and daughter are having their once a month 'mommy / daughter sleepover night' where they hangout in our bedroom and watch Disney movies until they fall asleep, and junior is having a friend over for a sleepover.  That means about 5+ hours of hopefully uninterrupted gaming starting about 930p.  I'll probably start with Rocket League since I need about 15 more matches to unlock everything.

I guess that is a strategy. Not sure how good of a strategy but still...

That goal against me has been there for a while, yeah. The ones for you and wren are the new additions.

How many of you can say you've gotten a text from your wife stating, 'I'm bringing home a frozen dead dog to put in our freezer.'?

I texted her to let her know lunch would be ready when she gets home from work, and that's the reply I got.

I get all that. I just think that if you're haunted by the negatives and think you can do better before you even get married why not just walk away? I wonder for people that get divorced if it was blissful in the beginning or even at the outset there were signs.

The thing about a long-term relationship is that there are always going to be negatives. Hopefully those come and go rather than sticking around. Deciding whether those negatives are a deal-breaker is something that can cause problems, though. Being too quick to make that decision is part of what leads into our current serial monogamy problems; nobody ever has a perfect relationship and calling it quits just because of a bad period means you'll never be in a lasting relationship.

There are definitely legitimate reasons to break up or divorce, but quitting too easily is just as bad as staying too long.

I do think it's better to have doubts prior to a wedding. If you acknowledge the things about your partner that you don't like and make the decision to accept those things and marry anyway then I think you're in a good position. That's much better than somebody who marries without that acceptance and realizes they're stuck with something they hate. Or even worse, somebody who acknowledges those issues but thinks "Oh, she'll quit doing that." She won't. Don't marry if that's what you're thinking.

Yeah easy pass on those steelbooks since I got the Complete series set on Blu ray for $60 last year. If they ever release a Return of the Jedi with the proper Anakin though I'll bite.

I'm a member of that Sony Television studio insiders thing where they send you surveys. They used to send you a $100 amazon gift card if you were selected from the monthly raffle. Apparently now that has changed to "FREE loot from our exclusive Sony Studio Insiders Swag closet!"

I won this month and what awesome swag did they send me? A teaser poster for Ghost Rider 2

and a mini poster for Joe Dirt 2.

If anybody here has a Frys nearby and needs a PS Vita TV bundle w/ Lego movie game and DS3 for $49.99, send me a PM and I'll give you my promo code. Just trying to help a PSNOT member out if interested.

Speaking of marriage, I heard a statistic the other day that the average marriage lasts 13 years. That's not even long enough to see any kids get to high school. The wife and I are at 12 years; two to go to beat the average.
We separated just over a month before our 13th wedding anniversary, so I can vouch for this statistic.

Does Another World auto-save your progress along the way or do you have to complete it all in one go?

(I think I never made it past that first dog/beast when I first played it 20 years ago.

The game actually does impressive things with cinematic camera angles.

It auto-saves. I think there's an on-screen indicator of when it happens, but I don't remember for sure.

I ventured out of the PSNOT thread and saw a Slidecage post in the WWE 2k15 thread, well his spacebar is broken again giving double spaces.

hogan says the N word and its a all hellfire on him while Bill cosby rapes women and he did nothing wrong that is what is wrong with this country...

Just like every time a cop shoots a person first thing on the news

WHITE COP KILLS BLACK MAN

yet that black man just killed that cop in those apartments not a peep on CNN or any other news outlet and when they do say something its

We are looking for this man who killed this cop not a single mention that the person is black

sucks no stores within 100 miles i would of got them all
This is what lurks outside the PSNOT thread.

What platform have you guys been playing Another World on? I'm assuming Vita should be fine, but wondered if there are any framerate issues or anything like that to be aware of.

My GameStop still has those 3 pack amiibo's available for pre-order.

Either the fad is over, Nintendo is producing them at a reasonable amount, or both. I'm happy to hear it. Gonna go down and order one.
