@mpaullin quoting isn't working for me but i think you're exactly right. he probably just bought the game and powered through it. the fact that there are 0 other reviews out for it seem to suggest that review copies weren't sent out.

I know we've had this joke conversation before, but I'll reply in earnest. There are many available ports of CT and the PS1 version has the worst loading times of them. It's available for DS and (apparently) original Wii VC which are superior versions and Android / iOS which are arguably superior versions compared to the PS1 edition.

A couple of co workers and I went to lunch today in his pickup truck.  I was sitting in the back seat.  On the way back to the office, we were at a red light, next to 3 white kids blaring some god awful rap song about sucking a n***** dick.  They were all cracking up about something in their car while I was making fun of them to my co workers saying those guys were about as hard as vanilla ice cream.  When the light turned green, I looked out the window and screamed TURN THAT fuckING SHIT OFF and scared the crap out of all 3 of them.  It was a good day.  

 
PS1 version of Chrono Trigger was the only one I played so the load times are fantastic since I have nothing to compare it to.

I've got Nier and am interested in playing Drakengard 3, but Drakengard 3 is a bitch as far as DLC goes; the character prologue pack costs $30, then it's another $5 for the Japanese language pack. I'm planning to get to Nier soon and Drakengard 3 will be after that, but hopefully by the time I get to it there will have been a decent deal.

The PSN price for Drakengard 3 sucks anyway. It's $20 new for a physical copy from GS, Amazon, and BB. $19 used from GS and $15 from BB (both ship.) No reason to buy it in the sale.

Im sitting here trying to decide if I really want to get mad max pre order or not. Part of me thinks it will be really good and part of me thinks it'll be on sale really fast.

The preorder bonuses are garbage. No reason to jump in, IMO. Wait for release, or at least some pre-release reviews. If nothing else waiting means you might be able to get it in part of a spend $100 get $15 back promo. We've still got a flash sale due this month, too.

Do you have GCU? if so it's a no brainer, just pick it up, if it sucks, trade it back in and break even. Or if you think it will go down quickly there is the possibility of a price match refund as well, akin the Hardline and The Order
