Anyone want to play some toy soldiers tonight?  Going to pick it up right now at bestbuy with all my giftcards I have pile up.

Picked up actual sunlight and might pick up goat simulator for the heck of it.

Xenogears was the shit. Krelian was a freaking boss up there with Magus/Sephiroth

That whole 2nd disc is tripped out

Citan with his sword finales were badass also

Nier is an easy plat? I grinded the fuck out of that robot factory and got 1 lens. I needed 3 to make some part to upgrade a weapon or some shit like that.

Anybody by chance have Motorstorm Apocalypse and need to reach level 40 still? I wouldn't mind getting some xp and accolades in the process, plus its probably more fun as the few people still playing this are pros.. I can grind it myself with 2 controllers but I only get half of the xp and its boring.

Looks like they are finally going to do that H. H. Holmes movie with Scorsese and DICaprio based on the book Devil in the White City. I first heard about him on an episode of Supernatural and I thought for sure it had to be something they'd made up as how could Jack the Ripper be such a big deal in pop culture when this guy killed over a hundred during the Chicago World's Fair around the same time period and I'd never heard of him. Bought the book immediately.

It's a bit frustrating how hard it is to find game footage on Vita on Youtube. It's easy to find just about any game via emulation or PS3 or whatever, but a cam recording of what it looks like on the Vita is a pain a lot of the time. From the few blurry videos I was able to find, though, it looks like PE and PE2 look pretty decent on the Vita screen. I might grab both--I haven't played 3rd Birthday but got that in the last sale so picking up the first two makes sense.

This pinball tournament is going to be crazy. Those Centaur scores are crazy. It was nice to get a couple trophies for hitting top 5 scores for the tables this week.

Edited for clarification

Third Birthday is pretty different than the others. Its way more fluid and smooth and a great third person shooter, but I liked the for lack of a better word clunkier styles of the original.

I remember parasite eve being pretty cool, but I bet it's awful now. I haven't found a ps1 game yet that operated in three dimensions and managed to stand up to the test of time.

Enemkpali purchased a plane ticket for Smith to attend his July 11 football camp at Pfugerville High School in Pfugerville, Texas. However, days before the camp, a person close to Smith was killed in a motorcycle accident in Miami and Smith did not attend Enemkpali’s camp, per sources. After Smith did not attend, Enemkpali demanded that the Jets’ quarterback refund him the $600 he allegedly used to purchase a plane ticket. Smith told Enemkpali he would reimburse him the money, but he did not. Enkempali confronted Smith today about the money and the confrontation ended in a punch and broken jaw.

Two days ago, David signed an extension for 5 years/50 million, and now Smith is a bust, hated by every Jets fan, and is slurping his food through a straw.

How long do Sony Rewards points usually take to hit your account? A purchase I made on 8/1 showed up almost right away, but the purchase I made on 8/6 is still in limbo and will push me to the $10 PSN code when it finally shows up.  :wall:

yeah I was watching that game. David would be recognized to be as good as Derrick Brooks if his team was decent.
 
The Evil Within is now 100% done. A couple of the trophies in The Executioner were pretty tough, especially clearing the last "arena", but it was pretty fun overall and definitely a nice change of pace from the previous two DLCs.

 
The joys of home ownership.  My wife tells me the dryer suddenly started taking 3 hours to dry a load of laundry.  I checked everything inside and it all seemed fine.  Thankfully, I decided to go check outside.  Apparently a bird decided it wanted to make a nest in the dryer exhaust vent.  I guess it broke off the louvers on cover.  At least the dryer should work again for now and all it should cost me is a few bucks for a new cover to keep the wildlife out.

 
Not digging Galak-Z as much as most did (84 on Metacritic, 7/10 was the lowest score on there).

I don't think permadeath really fits this game all that well.

 
My library's taking too long to actually get Legend of Kay Anniversary in stock, but a local Gamestop has a used copy available so I'll just play it that way.
