I had to look at the page source to see these. Anybody else have issues with CAG showing empty boxes where the twit is supposed to go? Sometimes a refresh fixes it. Sometimes not.
Darn, I was afraid of that.

And in case others didn't see it, it's a Shovel Knight amiibo which would be awesome.

I don't see the image, same as Therm.

Says the guy from Utah.
Never understood why Utah gets lumped in with some of those states.

Utah population: 2.9 mil

Wyoming, N Dakota, S Dakota, Montana combined: 3.16 million

Utah certainly isn't much more relevant (if at all) than Idaho, Nebraska, or Iowa. But it's way more relevant than those 4 big sky states.

Damn those Mormons sure pop out some kids.

On a serious note, the fact that we have 2 from DE is more shocking than having none from a lot of the other states since it has under a million.

But forreal though, a bunch of amiibo places are saying its probably fake. Apparently that's some random guys shovel knight art.

Congrats!

Next time have your cellphone camera at the ready. Seems to be happening frequently for you.

Posting random pictures of hot chicks for our scrutiny could really do wonders for your thread standing. This could be your thing!
I'll have to see what I can do. My windows are tinted fairly dark, so on an overcast day like today I would have had to roll them down to get a decent picture. That might have been a little too obvious. It was sunny on the day of the gratuitous crotch shot, so I probably wouldn't have had to then.

Getting stopped at a train is a regular occurrence in Columbia. The fact that I pass by the university on my way to and from work improves the odds of getting stopped next to a hot chick. Sometimes that's not the case. Earlier in the week, I got stopped next to a woman, and it looked like her ass was eating the seat; she was so large. I figured no one wanted to hear about that one.

I always hear that teen pregnancy has been down for decades.  But that doesnt mean that married adults arent popping out kids left and right.

EDIT:  And thats % change Tyler.  Utah only added 200K and Florida added a million.  Texas a lot more.

Yup NY populations is growing less and is now the 4th most populated state behind California, Texas and Florida.

Isn't that were all the Internet goes through? The NSA supercomputer site?
You know it! That place looks really big from afar. It's so far in the boonies that I've never been out there to see how big it actually is. But you can see it up on the base of the mountains from a distance from the whole south side of the valley.

I guess I am a little slow but now I get why Tyler is the master stalker. Sure you work for some University. Wink

Well yeah, it's a growth rate, not just total growth. I said rate. It's how you compare two things with separate sizes.

I get that but when you see that Florida added 5 times the amount of people that Utah did, the whole "oh my god Utah's population is exploding" is thrown out the window.

You are getting all the old people from NY and elsewhere in the North East as baby boomers retire. Say hi to my parents (they have a place in Florida).

His point was that people were popping out kids like crazy. When people there are creating a higher percentage of new people, his point is pretty damn valid. Not sure where you are going with this.

Also, I bet a lot more of the population growth of Florida is old people moving into the state than it is new kids being born.

EDIT: partially Jimbo'd

Well my point wasn't that population was exploding, just that it seems like a lot of young people here are having kids which is surprising to me based on a lot of what I read online and how I personally feel.

But I just realized that population growth is probably a shitty way to measure that since so many other factors (like immigration) affect population growth as well. Hell Florida is probably going to explode as older people live longer and more and more people get old and retire down there.

I would need a birth rate by state number of some kind.

EDIT: Partially jimbo'd and gator'd.

Actually, maybe you should take the picture regardless of how bad it may hurt our eyes. There may be some squeemish pics, but you have to hit us with the truth. The good, the bad, and the ugly. No need to censor. If it is a bad picture, you can preface it by saying the Lord punished me today.

I wonder if some of the growth in Utah is to support the NSA supercomputer thing? Wonder how many people work there directly and what businesses and other things are popping up to support them. Or maybe it is mostly self sustaining?

Yeah I get it. I was just surprised FL was barely behind Utah and Utah was still well behind TX in % terms even though both FL and TX started with much higher values (population total). The way he put it I thought the numbers wouldnt be that close % wise and looking further I noticed Utah is WAY behind total wise.

And duh with that last sentence though we know the more people we have the more births we will have too. % wise we know the growth in Utah is much more internal than external.

Not surprising Indiana's at the bottom. Most people I know don't want kids, and the others moved out of Indiana. Probably to Utah, you're welcome tyler.

Edit: We're mid pack actually. I can't read. Why is the US bolded in the middle of that list? Is that the US as a whole ranking?

Nah, the end of this article says there's only about 200 technical and administrative staff up there. Plus a bit of security but that's probably it.

Looking at the top of that list I was wondering if I accidentally clicked on the "Rank the states in reverse order of things to do besides fucking" link by accident.
You could also shade all 50 states in tiers of red and blue based on how they voted last presidential election and I'd bet you'd have a really cool and consistent bright red at the top that slowly transforms to a dark blue by the bottom.
