Also, I can adjust the time by an hour or so, if it's too early for the west coast guys to get off work.

I really hate when the local little league team begs for money outside publix so they can go play some tournament.

No kid sorry I don't have money for you to play a completely voluntary and optional sport. Go ask your mommy and daddy to pay for it. I just saw mommy get into her Lexus 350. She can afford it.

#1 pick? Looks like I get ADP.
I actually like that you called him ADP and not AP, but don't be afraid to call him by his actual nickaname and not his initials. If other people don't know who you are talking about screw em. Sadly 99% of the people on espn chats call him AP.

I picked up Galak-Z after much debate and I am having a blast (working on the second episode). The combat is stellar. Didn't take me long at all to acclimate to the controls and I'm digging the rogue like elements. The levels don't take that long, so starting from the beginning of an episode isn't too discouraging to me. If you kill enough enemies, finding 5 crash coins during a run is pretty doable. So you can usually start from the level you died on one time.

How do you feel about Pip after getting 100%?
I like it. It's a bit blah, everything is quite generic. The transforming is the only unique mechanic at all, and it's really not that deep or interesting. Each form really only has 1 or 2 abilities unique to it.

Anyone who likes platformers should like it. It's just not going to be a memorable game or a game that sticks with you. Just kind of a platformer you consume and move on to something else. it'll get 3.5/5 when I write the review.

I'm interested if you keep feeling this way throughout the game. Let me know if your opinions change at all. Maybe you're just better at the game than me.

I almost never carry cash and I'm not about to trust some kid with my credit card info, if they take them, I don't know because I don't ask.

it doesn't matter since I never stop walking just say no thanks. And usually the kids are very polite and say thanks. I never stopped but I can't imagine you would give a credit card to them Jesus that would be dumb.

No embargo.

It's fun. The structure is interesting. As far as I know it's endless waves, each lasting 10 seconds long. You have 3 lives (maybe 2, can't rembember) to survive those 10 seconds and score as many points as you can. then you're taken to a shop screen where you have 10 seconds to pick an upgrade. It's all pretty hectic.

There are bosses and stuff too. And man it's pretty off the wall, which I like.

I'd say I could stream it now, but it doesn't look like many people are around, which makes sense since its saturday. Maybe a Monday night stream would be cool?

Any of you guys know how DLC installs work on PS3? I scored a $4 copy of Dishonored GOTY PS3 but have the base game free from Plus. Want to install the DLC then trade the game to GS. I know it works on 360 but haven't done it before with a PS3 game.

And now to convince the 7 year old that just because we smell smoke from the forest fire, does not mean we need to call 911.

At least that distracted her from the current meltdown that her foot was broken, and needed a cast because the peanut butter jar dropped on it.

So Velocity 2X is getting a daily challenge mode on Xbox One and PC for its release, but Futurlab says that the PS4 and Vita will get that too. Definitely a good excuse to dig back into that game for a bit and check it out.

I believe it works pretty much the same if it's a separate install. The bigger issue always is whether or not the vanilla and/or digital save file is compatible with the goty save file. If you haven't started yet you are probably good to go.

Yea, you can download all the DLC separately, and sell the disc off

I think the local HS football team was going door to door yesterday after I got home from work. Sorry was in the middle of a mission on Borderlands. Watched them go across the street. I think my neighbor answered the door but they were gone pretty quick. I guess no sale there either.

I am really proud of myself.  I beat the 4th challenge in Old Blood because I found a catwalk which makes you nearly impossible to hit and funnels all the bad guys through one path below you and they are easy pickins.  I was not going to be able to pass the level the normal way. I am sure this catwalk is known if I look around online but I normally never find these type of "cheats" on my own.

Perfect, thanks. I don't know if I'll even touch the DLC for this but since it is a credit swap to GS I might as well install it for myself first.

The clearance finds continue today, scored a $5.99 Klingon Funko and a few of the McFarlane Assassins Creed series figures for $6.99 each.

The Champion Pub table is a real piece of work. I can't tell you the number of times I've built up a good Jackpot only to have the ball drain when I only need one or two more hits to win the fight; so frustrating.

On the other hand, the T2 table is by far my favorite of the four so far. I put up a pretty decent score earlier this afternoon. I probably could have had a higher score, because I think I had three extra balls, but my son had me laughing with his running commentary.

I thought about grabbing PS3 Dishonored but really want to play it on PS4 at this point. I was tempted though. Played it on 360 some and the load times were horrible I gave up.

I liked it a lot on 360 when I played a couple years ago (although I did Clean Hands play through which made it not as fun) and am planning to pick up the PS4 version on sale next year. But hard to pass up getting the DLC on the PS3 version for free since I had the game from Plus anyway.

Finished the last Borderlands 2 trophy for the DLC.  Still want to play more though.  Started episode 4 of Tales from the Borderlands last night.  Kind of lost track of the story a bit but starting to remember it.

Not sure what I will play next.

I will probably wait for a sale on the upgrade from PS+ to PS4. I am not great at stealth games (I like to just shoot stuff) but too many people love this game for me not to give it another try. I figure the load times should be better on PS4.

But I actually don't know what that means. If it means what I think it means, it's really stupid.
It means they'll either charge you $1000 less for the car or you'll pay the same loan amount but they'll give you $1000 with the car and you can use the $1000 as you wish.

They should make the daily challenge a free DLC instead of just a normal update and throw a new set of trophies at us.

I enjoyed Dishonored but probably because I didn't play it stealthy. If you don't mind not getting the plat I recommend it. The blink teleport thing was really cool, not at all annoying like it is in Destiny multiplayer when someone kills you using it.

You don't have to concentrate on stealth if you don't want. The trophy list is even geared towards two playthroughs--one stealth and the other chaos (meaning you fuck everybody up.)

I don't understand why the games I ordered from BB arrived in Nashville yesterday but have an expected delivery of Tuesday. Is there some holiday on Monday that I don't know about?  :whistle2:k

What does "$1000 cash back on select car purchases" mean?
A $1000 rebate from the manufacturer if you purchase from a list of certain vehicles in which the offer is valid. It's typically not money provided by the dealership.

For instance, if the new model year is about to start, the manufacturer may offer the extra cash to customers who purchase any of last year's model which is still on the lot in order to help get that older "new" stock off car lots so dealerships have more room and cash to buy the new year car model. In that way the cost of failure is shared between the manufacturer and the dealership. If the dealership had to eat 100% of the cost to offload last year model via markdowns, they might be less likely to purchase your new stock to sell or purchase less to ensure they have no leftovers.

They weren't selling anything, like a fundraiser? They were just standing there panhandling? That's weird. I don't think I've ever seen that. I'll see teams doing car washes for 'donations' or doing fundraisers, but most of the youth leagues around here count on business sponsorships for their extra money.

I dont think I could get past the mid 20s or 30s levels in Super Exploding Zoo. Once you got the lines and then had to separate your team, and move certain animals independently.
