Woah. We have one. Hopefully I can find it in the mayhem that is our basement....well if you somehow have resisted selling off your gamecube component cable this long, the tiv is up to $129 (acceptable, just the cable) at amazon:

I'm pretty sure I still have one somewhere, guess I'll be spelunking tonight.
Edit - holyI didn't know people just sold these things for $250 now. DAYMN
You live in New York. Aren't guns pretty much banned there? In other words, only the criminals have them. The two or three I was in didn't seem to have guns. Lots of jewelry. One had some musical instruments and a bit of electronics. The other didn't have as much just jewelry and some beat looking power tools.
Maybe the nerds reviewing the various iterations were only Star Wars nerds and not comic book nerds? I can not imagine it is much different than 1 or 2 besides subject matter.Holy shit, infinity 3.0 is getting good reviews.... not just good, but in the 8-9 range good.
What theis going on?
I don't know... on one hand, they had Sumo (Sonic Racing) working on the racing and Ninja Theory (DMC) working on the combat so it should be better.... but on the other hand, it's shitty disney infinity....Maybe the nerds reviewing the various iterations were only Star Wars nerds and not comic book nerds? I can not imagine it is much different than 1 or 2 besides subject matter.
We do have some of the most strict gun laws but outside of NYC they are less strict and outside of Westchester County they are even less strict. My dad has several pistols, rifles, and shotguns. I could buy a shotgun or rifle today I believe. Maybe 24/48 hour waiting peroid not sure. There is a waiting period on a pistol but I could get one. Getting a concealed carry permit is the tricky one. But there are millions of legally owned guns in NY even pistols. You live in New York. Aren't guns pretty much banned there? Theyre pretty good if you want an overpriced yellow NES raised in a house of smokers. Also their bluray rack is always the $5 ones from target and they also have lots of sports games.I dont think I have ever stepped foot in an honest to god pawn shop.
Are they scary?
Even if you play every game in the series, there's no way you're going to understand the story at all.Watched a review for MGS5. Definitely not for me. Still way too much to worry about and manage. Also you really need to have played the other games in order to understand the story at all.
I sometimes think you and I are really similar. So here's why condo living can suck. My good downstairs neighbor sold his place about two months ago, and noisy millennials moved in. They blast awful music at times, which is fine since it's usually before 11 p.m. on worknights, but they just got thising dog that barks ALL DAY LONG. I no longer need an alarm clock. And they put this sign on their door asking everyone to be patient with them and their dog - I guess people have been complaining to them.
I still think I'd never want a house, though. I hate exterior maintenance/yard work/etc.
Can't speak for Simm and I don't disagree that I'm overpaying on my HOA fees, but besides what you listed I also get snow removal, a pool, deck and roof replaced by the HOA, garbage pickup, sprinkler system maintenance and watering, cheaper homeowners insurance (about half what my mom plays for a less valuable house) and a guaranteed clean neighborhood where you don't have to worry about neighbors letting their houses get run down.Aluminum siding and brick walls, windows with PVC outer shell, and gutter guards means that my exterior maintenance is $200 a year for a company to come pressure wash the entire house, seal, and touch up paint the wood trim. If they don't do it right and wood rot happens, they have to cover the replacement cost.
I pay someone else to do the yard. I wish I could get astroturf and not even have to do that.
I am guessing your association fees are likely more than my maintenance costs and I dont share any walls with my neighbors.
Fair point. Which is another reason I stopped playing Metal Gear. Its just too weird and the stealth on top of it makes it yucky.Even if you play every game in the series, there's no way you're going to understand the story at all.
Yeah I preordered the wave 5 set but didn't pick up any others. I'm still sitting on an extra Marth, Rosalina, and WFT from the last restock since the trading forum here seems to be dead.Just bought like 10 amiibos. Almost all of them will get returned to target if the resale value isn't enough, but definitely feels weird to drop over $100+ on toys.
Keeping Ganon, Dr Mario, and Classic Mario for sure.
I dont think I have ever stepped foot in an honest to god pawn shop.

And porn. It's just fancier Goodwill, but with more guns.
I played 1 when it came out and then went on a crazy hiatus after starting 2 multiple times. Having played 2 and 3 on Vita and the rest pretty much back to back the story isn't as complicated as you would think. Sure it's a bit bat shit crazy but that's part of it's charm. I'm sure there has to be a good summary of the series out there somewhere.Even if you play every game in the series, there's no way you're going to understand the story at all.
Metal Gear isn't really stealth. I mean sure you can play that way and it's satisfying when you do it right but all the previous entries are a get from point A to point B type game. I usually start out mad stealthy and then run for it once shit hits the fan. I'm not sure how 5 will handle it being open world but if Ground Zeroes is any indication it should be a decent mix of action and stealth.Fair point. Which is another reason I stopped playing Metal Gear. Its just too weird and the stealth on top of it makes it yucky.
I only want Classic Mario out of the new bunch on Target, so I hope Amazon or Best Buy updates their listing soon.Just bought like 10 amiibos. Almost all of them will get returned to target if the resale value isn't enough, but definitely feels weird to drop over $100+ on toys.
Keeping Ganon, Dr Mario, and Classic Mario for sure.

I had never heard of it besides the trophy list. This is Fat City:New PlayStation Blogcast ep.177 (09-01-15)
PS4
- Fat City: NYC
Nice table choice!I tested to see if Central Park is a lucky bounce simulator this morning. I started it on the ps4 and just launched the balls, no flippers for a few games. On the third or fourth game I got around 3500 points and almost all of the standard goals.
im pretty sure all that maintenance stuff is just suggestions. iv got foot high grass and 3 tents in the backyard and the most they ever do is put notes on the front door about stupid fines and shit. I just blow my weed smoke in their fat monkey faces and they leave me alone. i do what i wantSo here's why condo living can suck. The only two I would have wanted backups for just in case. Hopefully they go up at bby soon, I'd rather have them with GCU anyway.Classic mario and Ganondorf sold out.
Ok, I'll be that guy in the thread that enjoys doing yard work and DIY home repairs. Yard work and DIY stuff is therapy for me. After working in a lab all week, I enjoy getting outside and cleaning up the yard or doing house maintenance on the weekends. (I did spend a good bit of time at work outside this week, because we're testing some new equipment. Typically, though, 95% of my work week is spent indoors.)So here's why condo living can suck. Deal with what? Took about 3 minutes to add them to my cart and check out. They'll get shipped to me, I'll either keep them, make a profit on them on Amazon or ebay, or swing by a Target and return them.Dear jkam,
Good job quitting amiibos, you no longer have to deal with this. Happy Friday!
Yeah Munky was talking to me about 3. He's like "yeah it's cool, it's dumb because its set in the past so you dont have a radar. And it has this weird camo matching thing where you have to match the environment or something." It was like jesus, are you trying to get me to never play the game? All that sounds awful. The more you guys talk about how you play Metal Gear the more it makes me remember why I dislike it.
Weird, hopefully they patch it in.Tyler, dont play Until Dawn. You cant invert the controls!
Yeah none of them seem to have enough value anymore to bother even reselling them, but I'll take a closer look when I get them. Otherwise it's no hassle to return them, Target makes things pretty easy.Yeah I preordered the wave 5 set but didn't pick up any others. I'm still sitting on an extra Marth, Rosalina, and WFT from the last restock since the trading forum here seems to be dead.
The stealth aspect drew me in to the series and it helped me enjoy future games like Medal of Honor on PS1, Timesplitters 2 on PS2, and Far Cry Classic.Metal Gear isn't really stealth.
