Not everybody in here is in love with MGS. It's spoilered for those who don't care about the earlier games but want to check out that part of this one to see if it's different enough to bother with.

 
I never move the sliders all the way to get rid of the emblem. Usually a few ticks higher so I can actually see the damn game. 

 
I'm a sucker and always do as the game tells me to for brightness settings and logos that I can barely see.  Just as our overlords prefer.

 
I tinker with the sliders when they say too but usually end up a few ticks higher.  But not always.  Depends on the darkness level of the game and the TV brightness that your using too.

 
I normally don't mess with the brightness slider at all, but if I do, I keep it a couple notches higher than "barely visible".  Also, Mad Max has one of these.

PS3 games always forced me to crank the slider all the way up just to be able to see the game.

PS4 games I go with their recommendation unless I find myself having trouble seeing basic things.

I kind of liked how the first different color Vita-2000s were in Japan, with the color on the back and sides, but black or white on the front. The black bezel in that blue one does look a little strange with rest of it blue on the front.

Those are some absolutely shit clearance prices aside from maybe Minecraft.

 
Why do people want to call it a sting operation when a uniformed officer stands at a busy street giving out jaywalking tickets?

Maybe they should try waiting for the light instead of jaywalking in front of a cop. They're not trying to make the city unfriendly to pedestrians, they're trying to get people to stop running in front of cars/buses/trucks and making people pay an idiot tax for doing so.

 
Ordered a $10 PSN card for $9 and I had a $5 certificate, so $4 in #CAGMathWorld. I also ordered a $10 card from Sony Rewards yesterday, but I have yet to receive it. I had $7.64 or something like that in rewards points. Was going to use that toward DJ Max Portable 3 or whatever it is, but the damn thing hasn't shown up and that deal is about to expire.

I've seen most of these prices at my downtown Target for at least a month+ now. Keep waiting for Lumines to drop more but it just won't budge. I'm tempted by Lego Chima if it was in stock here. And Borderlands 2 for some reason, even though I still haven't played through all of 1 and have 2 on my PS3.

Their entire video game section has shrunk in the past couple months. I can barely remember the last time I bought a game there so it's not a huge loss.

I played a decent chunk of the first game on Vita and found it to be really rough. It just hadn't aged well, control-wise, and didn't feel good at all on the Vita. I ended up returning it unbeaten. Maybe 2 is different, I dunno. Didn't see the first game in your PSNP, so I'd actually suggest waiting a month and picking it up after the October GS rental period begins to be on the safe side.

Yeah, about half of their game section in my stores are all infinity/amiibo/skylanders.

They never update their selection, so I'm not sure what they thought would happen with sales. Maybe they expect loyal Target customers to buy a Vita and all five games, then keep buying those five games over and over again forever?
