Can't speak for anyone else on the team but monetizing the site isn't in my short term vision at all.
Not in even my long term vision. Dealing with how to do the paperwork to be an LLC and how we would each deal with it on our taxes would cost more than we would ever hope to bring in.

My understanding of Adsense matches yours.

I picked up Metal Gear and threw down $25 on an Aqua Blue Vita pre-order. I'll wait and see if I'm still nuts in November.

I know but there is at least one person from the thread that believes that shit since they have said it in twitch streams when I am not around. So I used it as an opportunity to point out the stupidity of it even if you weren't being serious.
Not sure how long the plat was in Unity but it was much longer then I was willing to commit to that game. I remember you got that one (along with others in this thread).

The unity plat was a short cakewalk compared to previous iterations with the exception of ac2. I still have waking nightmares about running around colonial america.

There is just way too many chests to open in that game. That was the single worst part about it. Hopefully they dial it back in Syndicate.

I hated the godforsaken chests, but it's still better than legitimately trying to get the extreme variety bonus in ac:b or hours and hours and hours of wolfpack or the billion sidequests in ac3. at least it looked purdy.

Unity was a terrible grind for sure.  I love grabbing chests (#thatmeanstwothings) but that was just too much.  I wanted to 100% the DLC but the amount of stuff to collect and the enemies constantly spotting you was too much.

I was so disappointed with AC3 that I just quit it as soon as I finished the story.  Such a big letdown.

oh man and that missable one in ac1 if you didn't harass the lady in present tense at every opportunity.  that was an entire replay of the game if you fucked that one up (although I don't think the ps3 version had trophies, did it?).

I thought the worst part of AC3 was the actual story missions. I had fun with everything else, except for those fucking board games.
I really liked the story missions in ac3. which one had the tower defense? revelations? that was kind of awful too.

edit - can't forget the 'multiplayer' in the vita one! why do I play these games???

trophies started with creed 2.

No trophies. I'm glad I saw that achievement before I started the game. I would've been pissed if I would've had to replay all that shit.

There's also a similar trophy in Tomb Raider.

Good news: I have my PS3 back.

Bad news: They wanted $170 to fix it.  Rejected that fast; I'll stay with digital for now and come up with another option for discs later.

Tyler, I heard you beat more Mega Man games. Congratulations.

Now try beating them again in one sitting.

Blue Vita looks sweet. $200 price tag is a little high. Wish they would add some games.

for some reason talking about the shitty trophies in ac games got me all ready to play syndicate. that's a serious illness I have right there.
I still need to play Black Flag. I am one of the few that did not like the ship missions in AC3 so I am hesitant to start it. They weren't that bad in Rogue except for that final ghost ship mission though.

I think it has online too though, which I really have no interest in without a group to play it with.

Aren't they pretty easy to replace? Or are they locked to the console like MS did on the 360?

that tomb raider one is the reason I started looking at achievement/trophy lists before I start playing a game. spoilers in trophies don't bug me so much, but I get pretty annoyed if I decide that I want to 100% something and find out part way through that I needed to talk to some old white guy five chapters ago to get 15 seconds of exposition dialog to complete a trophy's requirements.

I still need some of those online trophies, so I'd be down to play if others are.

Opening it looks easy; I'm thinking of doing that to at least clean the fan.

Getting to the Blu Ray lens is the part I'm worried about since you have to remove more than screws and you could break a ribbon and/or damage the power supply if you're not careful.

I didnt like the ship missions much either. Black Flag is fun but the ship is still not great in my opinion. It got boring for me.

I've been meaning to replay AC2 on PS3 with the comfort of knowing I won't have to deal with a MP grind to get the plat.
AC2 is still my favorite AC game. Loved it from beginning to end and the collectables etc didnt get ridiculous. Wasnt too much of a grind.

Isn't that the one with the feathers? That was bad, but nothing like the MP bullshit in Brotherhood. I am still surprised I decided to go back and do that nonsense.
I think the worst SP grind for the series was collecting the flags in AC1. There was no in-game collectible map, which made it a huge pain. I guess PS3 players didn't need to worry about since there weren't any trophies, but I did it for the achievement on 360.

Yeah seems like these are mostly pretty easy to do for $30-$50 or so. Not sure which model you have. Also not sure if the model I have (the smaller slim with the crappy slider) is easy or not. But anyway maybe look and see if you could swap the drive out for $50 or less.

yeah shitloads of collectibles, stabbing people in a large crowd in the back, running on roofs, weird day one bugs.  bring on syndicate!   HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Shit for $170 you could buy a new one and swap your hard drive.

Don't know if the $2 will cover the Foul Play cross buy but it was originally suppose to be coming to Vita so why not.

Thanks for reminding me I still need to finish the AC: Bros story.  I need to stop randomly starting games on a whim and forgetting about them.

Rogue wasn't bad. I think around 40 hours and it was the first AC I tried to get trophies in, so I was pretty inefficient about it. It doesn't have MP, either, which was nice.

They're not too bad. I got my PS3 Slim used and it had a bad lens, so I had to swap it out. The replacement cost around $30. If the process of swapping the lens is too much, there's always the possibility of swapping the whole drive. Those run around $60, but are still a lot better than $170 or the price of a new PS3.

Just looked through my Vita/PSP/PS1 games collection. Not much stealth to be had on the Vita, is there? Sly, Stealth Bastard, and the MGS games (kinda.)

Nichole Bloom.
Looks like my 8 year old niece. That negates any possible hottness.
