I hope you killed that annoying guy that I won't name.Finished off TWD S2. I didn't realize it has no plat. Lame!
Sure did.I hope you killed that annoying guy that I won't name.
Add it to the short short list of retail games without a plat.Finished off TWD S2. I didn't realize it has no plat. Lame!
Asshole!I hope youkilled that annoying guy that I won't name.
Naw, I'm just trying to get more shit started about him not buying golds. I've actually been having issues on my end where people can hear me but I can't hear them. Haven't figured anything out yet, but honestly haven't tried that hard since I haven't been playing that much.OH yeah his headset broke or something. Boo Mild Boo!
Your face is a nat issue!Naw, I'm just trying to get more shit started about him not buying golds. I've actually been having issues on my end where people can hear me but I can't hear them. owmypride.gifI've decided my goal in this pinball tournament is to finish ahead of Mild. I could set my goal higher, and say finish ahead of Mitch also, but I'll go with the easy-to-achieve goal this time around.

Dont be a hater.
old stolen joke and blah execution. 3/10
Don't worry about it. Not every guy in gyms is a juiced tank and compression shorts wearer, either. You can't compare yourself to other people initially; you have to measure your progress against yourself for a while.I hated going to the gym because of this. I always felt so out of place because I'd be wearing basketball shorts and a t shirt and 90% of the females there would be in make up with sports bras and yoga shorts.
One theory is that Sony considers Telltale's The Walking Dead as a single game regardless of its multiple "seasons", so they treat a new season as DLC rather than a separate game. We won't really know if that's true until Telltale releases a second season for one of their other games that already has a plat (e.g., TWAU, Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones).Add it to the short short list of retail games without a plat.
Why have one for the first game and not the second. Fishy.
Not sure. Maybe check to see if any of the known PS4-less people have it on their trophy card. That might help track one down.^Of course STFU's trophy card image features Shuhei Yoshida. Fantastic.
Has anyone tried it on Vita yet?
I have the same basic thoughts so far but I definitely noticed some hiccups in the cut scenes at the beginning of the game. Nothing major and the in game graphics and frame rate are nice and stable so far.Mad Max first impressions.
Gonna spoiler it all to assuage the whiney portion of the thread who goes ape shit over any kinda spoiler for a game.
First off I think the game looks pretty great. The cutscenes look REALLY good and the in game graphics are pretty solid as well. I didnt really notice much if any popin etc and the draw distance is pretty huge. Since it is in a desert setting they threw it a ton of heat wave lines, looks pretty realistic for the most part.
Gameplay wise, its ok so far. The fighting aspect is the now pretty standard hit one button to attack, another to parry, and basically just mash attack with occasional parry thrown in. I only have a shotgun so far and ammo is VERY limited. You can only carry like 3-4 shots currently, im sure that goes up as you go along since both Max and the Magnum Opus, the car you are building, both have RPG elements. The map is pretty damn big. I didnt pay close attention to it until I was done playing for the night, actually looked at the map and realized i was only driving around this one small area. The only mechanic so far that is kinda silly is the map/area scouting. You basically find these big hot air balloons and ride them up into the air then use your bicnosulars to scout out the area. I much prefer the way AC does it, just get up to the top and out unlock all the stuff. Potential with this set up in Mad Max to miss something when you are looking around.
Story so far is ok. You basically start out with nothing and meet a dude named Chumbucket and he helps you start building up your Magnum Opus, aka your car. Where I am at now is basically you are doing stuff to get more parts for the car. It starts out really bare, you go to an area and get a body for it, and now Im working to get a v8 engine in it vs a v6.
Overall I really like the game so far, but im only about 4 hours into it so that could change depending on how repetitive it is.
Gonna pay closer attention tonight when I play some more, but I cant remember noticing any kinda distance pop in or anything.I have the same basic thoughts so far but I definitely noticed some hiccups in the cut scenes at the beginning of the game. OK then, Mr. Snark, how is it?Not sure. Maybe check to see if any of the known PS4-less people have it on their trophy card. That might help track one down.
I havent noticed pop in or any issues in game other than the low res looking textures. Fro comparison, GTA5 was a more detailed game. But during the opening cut scene (and other cut scenes) the sound is muted, there was at least one stutter and the voice over didnt synch up at one spot.Gonna pay closer attention tonight when I play some more, but I cant remember noticing any kinda distance pop in or anything.
Only one part looked bad to me.
right after you meed that weird dude with the backpack that you use to upgrade max, you end up laying face down on the ground, the ground looked like absolute shit, lose rez with NO detail, not sure if the ground didnt load up right or thats just how it was supposed to look, but other than that the in game graphics have been good.
Only got to play the tutorial and first level. But it looks great, performs great, controls great. Mechanics take some getting used to, but it's got the fun and is a great fit.OK then, Mr. Snark, how is it?
Are the online trophies anything you need help with? I just picked up the collection yesterday, and haven't looked over the trophy list at all.Peace Walker is done...for now. I just have two online trophies (one of which will require hours of grinding) for the plat, so I might come back to it later since I already put in 60+ hours.
I started Ground Zeroes and finished the main mission in about 1.25 hours (I plan on getting all of the trophies before starting Phantom Pain). Dang, is it pretty.
I almost wanted to vomit during the operation cutscene, though.
I suffer from low self esteemDon't worry about it. Not every guy in gyms is a juiced tank and compression shorts wearer, either. You can't compare yourself to other people initially; you have to measure your progress against yourself for a while.
Even after a while, it's beneficial to look at progress pictures and notice the improvements you've made, rather than strictly using others as a guide post.
Thanks for the offer. Only one of the two really requires boosting since no one has been online to do it every time I've checked (Trade a soldier with someone else), but the other one (Get 20,000 "Camaraderie", acquired through online play) is more time-consuming than anything else, though there are "cheap" methods to make things a bit quicker. Unfortunately, you can't play online right away in Peace Walker--you have to finish a few of the main missions before the option for Versus Ops becomes available. Are the online trophies anything you need help with? Oh yea, speaking of sound.I havent noticed pop in or any issues in game other than the low res looking textures. Fro comparison, GTA5 was a more detailed game. Not sure, but I don't think you've gotten to the really annoying/frustrating parts yet.Started Crushing for Golden Abyss. It's not too bad; mainly a pain in the ass at points where you're climbing/hanging and stuck wielding a pistol with 3 or more guys shooting at you. Take a shot, rest and heal, take a shot, etc., kinda of tedious. Trophy guide says they patched the difficulty way down, but I can't see anything that says what version I've got. Anybody know how to tell that?
I played mostly with headphones but didnt notice any issues like that. But I have the controller volume setting on the PS4 turned way down so I bet that mutes those. I hate controller sounds so I always leave the setting down on the PS4 so I dont have to worry about it in each gameOh yea, speaking of sound.
did you play with headphones? It and shadows of mordor have the sameing problem. There are sounds in the game for a few different things that are meant to be played by the speaker on the controller. However when you play with headphones those sounds go through those instead.
The issue is compared to the rest of the audio they ARE WAY TOOING LOUD. I didnt take the time to look in the audio menu to see if you can shut them off or turn them down, but the couple of times they happened I thought I was about to lose my hearing.
On the home screen, hold the icon down. When it starts to bounce or whatever, choose Update History. Should show the latest version numbers there.Started Crushing for Golden Abyss. Indie hater.Parts of it are fun and other parts are frustrating as hell. Id probably give it a 3/5. Maybe a 2.5 because of the cross nonsense on the start screen.
There's an early scene where Chase is standing on a log over a chasm and three guys come to shoot her and Nate. Chase died really fast. I'm fully expecting this to be a huge pain in the ass later on in similar sections. Not sure, but I don't think you've gotten to the really annoying/frustrating parts yet.
Nothing in the game was more of a pain in the ass than the boss fight quick time events. At least to me. They are annoying since the touch screen doesnt always register. There's an early scene where Chase is standing on a log over a chasm and three guys come to shoot her and Nate. Chase died really fast. If I'm remembering the game right (and not some other Uncharted), you're going to love the parts where Sully's around. There's an early scene where Chase is standing on a log over a chasm and three guys come to shoot her and Nate. I chortled wondering why u was watching that in the first placeI chortled to myself when a Viagra ad ran in front of this video.
I think the only part I had problems with was pulling off some stupid QuickTime move in the final battle.Started Crushing for Golden Abyss. Are the QTE events different from hard to crushing? I did have the same issue in hard mode.Nothing in the game was more of a pain in the ass than the boss fight quick time events. At least to me. They are annoying since the touch screen doesnt always register.
the grind to the plat was also annoying just because of the grind to get the special kills.
The difficulty wasnt a big deal otherwise so you have to get used to it more. Or you suck and will be annoyed the entire playthrough.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking of with my post.If I'm remembering the game right (and not some other Uncharted), you're going to love the parts where Sully's around.
If you do multiple quick swipes in the direction of the arrow it will register. I know that sounds dumb because you think it would false read doing it multiple times, but it doesn't. If you see the arrow turn green stop.I think the only part I had problems with was pulling off some stupid QuickTime move in the final battle.
