I did that plenty of time during climbing sequences and such. It didn't seem like it worked on the boss battle, though again I'm not sure which version of the game I have. Could be something they patched in or patched out.

The only difference is you don't get to make any mistakes on the boss fights. One missed swipe and you're dead. So you have to be perfect.
No there's definitely different more complicated swipes to do on the harder difficulties.
At least for the crushing difficulty on the final boss. I remember it through me off when they added in some dumb diagonal down and back up or something in it.
It updates automatically. I assume you just have not synced trophies lately on all your platforms. It will eventually bust you.

they didn't advertise this even a little bit, it's almost like they released it on accident. it's not a blockbuster or anything but it's a semi-notable indie that people liked on steam and reviewed ok, released by devolver and is the first original console/steam title (I think) by the people who remade the current incarnation of hatoful boyfriend. and it's a coop title. besides all that, it's supporting their Heroes program with money going to charity. all they've done so far though is list it as a new release along with the giant pile of other releases from yesterday with a price of $10.Wow, Foul Play is really good so far... I would think anyone that enjoyed Castle Crashers would like it.
Kindaed up though that according to TT, six people own the game and they're all from this thread (counting myself, site hasn't registered me yet)... guess everyone's busy playing Grow Home, the game of the people.
It was pretty great, but my gosh there were too many vehicle-fight Extra Ops (which became a chore once I had the means to easily S-rank them). If not for those, I probably would have been done with PW much sooner.

Funny thing, I own a bunch of these because as a Best Buy employee I got them for $10 or less. And our employee discount was 10% over actual price. So those cables really only cost around $9 to Best Buy and then they sell them at $189
Hmmm, I don't remember those extra ops....were they added to the PS3 version? Unless I just ignored them. The main game plus the build your base, send out troops, etc stuff was a lot of fun. I don't even like that stuff normally.
Pretty sure last time I redeemed for PSN credit it took a really long time that didn't make sense as well. Those codes don't just generate themselves you know!!
No, they were in the PSP version, but they were on a separate tab in the Mission Selection screen (unless you were on "All"). You also had to unlock a bunch of the Extra Ops by completing other Extra Ops.
Yeah, they usually take a long time. My last $10 PSN purchase from Sony Rewards was on Aug 23rd and I had to wait until the 24th for the code to arrive. I thought it would never show up. They must have gone with the bulk rate on their emails that day.

Kind of forced myself to pop in MGSV late last night (I was tired) but ended up playing for about an hour. It starts slow but it sure does look good.

I just ordered one yesterday too, just checked it's not even out of the processing phase. Something like this should go threw automagically like with buying a code on Amazon or Gamestop you get it pretty much instantly.
