My friend called me up and offered me a free ticket to the UCLA vs UNLV football this weekend in Vegas. He said everything was taken care of but then he mentioned it being 110* for the game. I passed because fuck being in that hot weather.
 
I don't care that much about tennis, but was going to watch her go for the win this weekend because HYYYYPPPPPEEEEE! Now I don't need to watch, so I guess that's good.

Is that a proper use of anymore? I know I've asked this once before but the way I would have written that sentence in school would be different .

"Wow. Tennis isn't that popular anymore, it's pretty dead."

I admit my English isn't very good but that just seems like an odd way (place?) to use anymore. I'm also old so maybe that's the most accepted use currently. It's just difficult for me to read that sentence lol.

Amiibo will be popping up on amazon in ~5min. 

Managed to grab mine earlier, ran into target late and got olimar, picked up ganondorf and retro mario from gs when they went online. Hoping they'll go up on BBY though, so I can return their more expensive counterparts.

Wouldn't have minded a bowser jr, but I'm not going out of my way for it.

I have the same issue with him and others that use "anymore" like that. It doesnt make sense or sound right to me. But English is a second language for me too.

Technically, your sentence would be wrong because it contains a comma splice.

It's probably not grammatically correct, but rereading it still sounds fine to me.

Not sure who cares about amiibos anymore, but there are 6 that are either out or announced that I want:

Samus

Lucario

30th Anniversary Mario Modern

Yarn Yoshi

Mewtwo

Shovel Knight

There's some more that I would buy on the cheap like I did with my used Gamestop ones, but I don't really count those cuz I would probably pass on them sealed at full price.

How many Yoshis will there be? Pink, blue, green, which I think is limited to the game bundle, plus the huge one. There may be others, but I'm not sure.

Sure enough, 20 minutes later they responded telling me my experience sounds horrible, and to join the Sprint family. They've got a "sucks" scanner.

That's it as far as I know. The three colors and the mega one. I just need one of the smaller colored ones, I don't need all 3 or anything anymore.

Also pre-ordered a Darth Vader PS4, but 99% chance I cancel that. I'd love to have it and the controller but it'd cost me well over $200 to upgrade after unloading my white one. Although used white Destiny bundles are going for a pretty decent amount on Amazon.

The chibi robo amiibo is cute too, but I think its another bundle only one. I have no idea how they're handling the animal crossing ones either. If they're in bundles I'm not going to bother.

Honestly if it came down to it, I'm only really concerned about mewtwo at this point.

 
I saw that Rocket League had a patch or update file install last night.  I think we need to play some Rocket League again soon.  Like tonight possibly.

Depending on time I'm down for rocket league. My current play was drunk foul play/arkham knight/witcher 3. Whichever one ends up being more entertaining.

Hope not until I get my PS3 repaired. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to take out my 500 GB drive and replace it with my bad sata from this laptop (which ironically is using the original 120 GB that was in my PS3 when I got it). That way if they send a replacement PS3 instead of my original PS3 I can still use the drive.

Just finished setting up and trying the Playstation TV. I'm very happy happy to see all of my videos are available to download. The layout is a bit weird, but I'm sure I will get use to it.

BTW, how come they have an app for Hulu Plus but not Netflix? Is Vita also missing Netflix?

I preordered one too. I was leaning towards the disney infinity one that's supposed to be coming to Walmart, but it sounds like that one will be $500...which isn't appealing anymore.

Falco does look cool. I might grab him. I like him a lot more than Fox.

I don't care about the Animal Crossing ones. I like the game, but there's not characters that I find cool.

I'd be down to play. Most the updates are about the new first season, I've been meaning to check that out. Pretty sure most the significant changes are only for public matches.

 
Gamefly sent nothing but the really old shit at the bottom of my Q even though I had about 8 or 9 recent/new releases they could have sent me. Cancelling for sure. Thanks for the free month of easy plats, assholes.
