I just read someone describe something as "poker-dotted". Wut.

Speaking of, have you ever looked close at the small print in the ads? I did the other day.

Says something like average buy in is like 7 bucks, average winnings is like 24.

:dunce:
don't have too. Yeah one guy may win a million bucks but he isn't getting that money from fan duel. Millions of others are playing and losing all their money.

Gambling is okay if you have a limit. Most people play with say $500 and that's it. Or you just play a few games a week and that's it. There are just some losers that spend their life savings because they are unstable. That's their fault. Most people gamble a little just for some excitement. I don't gamble because I am unlucky and dont want to lose money but others I know do it and have fun with it.

You know what I suck at? Video games. Today's suck is brought to you by rayman and my inability to let things go. I don't think I've ever played the livid boss level so I want to unlock it but I'm still 13 pink things short. Considering the effort it takes and the fact that it was a PS+ title it has an awfully high plat percentage.

Ordered a blue DS4 from Amazon. $50 I guess is ok. I had Amazon Visa points so it was free!!!!!!!!
You shouldn't use your points on Amazon, you should use them as a statement credit and the use the actual credit card to purchase from Amazon. You just left $1.50 on the table, buddy!

3 trophies was enough for an A-rank on PSN Profiles for Soldner. I'll probably do one more runthrough and try to pick up a couple more.

Game is pretty damn cool, very colorful and tons of action. Of course I played on beginner so I could actually see the whole game.

Not sure how I set that up since the points seem to go to Amazon automatically. I'll look into it.

1 trophy in Sine Mora got me a C. Average completion is 5%. Looks like half the people who get even that much did so from the "Die during the prologue" trophy. The requirements for most of the trophies are pretty ridiculous. This is the 2nd trophy's description:

Lex Talionis (Promoted to Sergeant):

Requirements for this promotion are as follows:

Promoted to Airman

You must have the previous promotion unlocked in order to obtain this promotion.

Crash into 15 enemies (Any Game Mode)

You need to run into enemies for this step. The game considers each crash as an individual crash, so it is ok to run into the same enemy twice.

Complete a stage without using a continue (Any Game Mode)

Simply do not die over the duration of a single stage. You have completed the stage when you get to the score tally screen.

Finish any stage with an "A" (or better) rating (Any Game Mode)

There are multiple aspects which factor into your rating. They are as follows:

- Score (Killing enemies/bosses, picking up orbs)

- Time Remaining (Destroying an enemy or picking up a Time orb will increase this, the highest you can get is 99.99)

- The use of sub-weapons and capsules (Using your sub-weapons or your capsules(e.g. Speed Up/Reflect) NEGATIVELY effects your rating)

- "Penalties" (The amount of times you were hit by enemies or obstacles throughout the level)

- Continues (If you die and continue, your rating is negatively effected)

If you are having trouble, I suggest playing Stage 1 over and over, memorizing enemy positions and boss maneuvers.

Finish any stage with a hit ratio over 75% (Any Game Mode)

This will likely come naturally, as most bosses are giant hit-boxes, and accuracy is not overly difficult in this game due to the tight and responsive controls.

Destroy 100 stationary units (Any Game Mode)

Stationary units are any type of turret, as well as enemies who are not moving(e.g. tanks, ships).
The only gold trophy has a .06% rarity on PSNP. Crazy.

Finished Until Dawn.  Decently done.  My wife loves horror movies so she wanted parts of the game as I was playing.  I could see me playing this again sometime and going after the plat.  Took it back to RedBox though so it won't be for a while.

Glad I didn't try to buy it a BB for $39.99 during their pricing error though.  Really not much replay past grinding out some trophies.  Probably take me two more play throughs at least.
