I would not pick new Orleans this early in the season when you can't pick them the rest of the year. But yeah I would say that's a lock this week.

Which means the bucs have a chance because its the nfl.

Something weird.  My back was hurting a shit ton since Monday so last night I pinpointed the spot where the pain was emanating from and used one of those back massagers on it to try and get it loosened up (along with a couple of hot showers and some ibuprofens, it's a lot better today for those keeping score).  Whenever I turned it on, the inside antenna I use for OTA TV would lose reception and then come back on when I turned it off.  I figure it either created some sort of interference or took some power away from the amplifier on the antenna (it's one of those 50 mile radius ones), even though they're plugged into different power strips in different wall sockets in the same room.  

 
Pinball league is starting up. Well, this is just a preview week, but I'll drink some beer and play some pinball. Here's to hoping this location in College Park, MD stays a bar, because it's up for sale for a lot of money and not necessarily staying a bar when sold. Hopefully we make it to the end of the season at least....

My import steelbooks finally arrived.

The first is the same as the one we got but it has two disc holders instead of one. Now I can put Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain both in it and have the other cool steelbook for the bonus Blu.

thats cool but i always hate when disks sit on top of each other. Why couldn't they add the other disk holder on the door

Night 2 for me. Two machines I haven't played before (Hook & Police Force) on the docket. Hopefully I can still escape last place.

Our dude installed a cool wireless pay option for the machines too. You use this app called PayRange and fund it with a CC or Apple Pay, then you just turn on Bluetooth and swipe up on the machine you want to fund and bam, credit on the machine. Now I don't have to carry around loads of quarters on pinball night.

The silver one was 22, I caught it a few minutes too late after Vig posted before the seller bumped the price up. Fortunately it was well before it eventually jumped to the 40's.

The other involves CAGmath. I purchased the CE for $80, sold everything except the Blu for $140. Bought the game Back for $48 and the case for $43. #buildyourowncollectorsedition

Two sweet cases and a bonus Blu documentary > plastic baby arm

The full size arm from Japan is kinda cool. Though not so cool that I wouldn't have sold it for the Ridiculous 600+ that CE was going for right after release.

The Witness looks so not interesting at all.

I want it to be good and I'll probably get it at launch if it's on disc, but I hope the trailers are leaving out a whole lot, or something...I really don't even know what to think about it.

 
Bah, I called Best Buy about the missing $10 certificate and the rep just issued me another 500 myBestBuy points so I can generate another certificate. No free money for me today. :-({|=

At least I got my preorder in for RE Origins Collection.

Yeah I picked New Orleans right away. It's so early that you really can't tell who the average teams are and who's going to suck (besides Tampa) and I'd like to last a little while. Besides, I only hit on 5 of 16 games in the pick em trying to predict upsets and be smarter than everyone else. Sometimes you just gotta go chalk.

 
Of all games I never would have expected Blood Bowl (360 exclusive) to get a sequel. And even less so that the sequel would be on PS4.

Now I need to get it. I always wanted to play the original, heard good things but also that it was really really rough around the edges and had some gameplay issues.

These weekly release lists are starting to look more and more like they're for mobile or steam. I'm not sure if that's good or bad or if I just don't know what any of this stuff is.

I am looking forward to librarying blood bowl 2. Couldn't tell you why though.

it's fun, but it's essentially a digital board game. same map, same enemies, and the only variation is in what character you play. each character has a different deck, and it seems to be geared to take on one of the victory types(4). definitely better with people. a good sale buy for sure, not so much at full price.

Seriously, what game do these officials watch. The back judge was so busy and excited to tell the Head Referee that he saw a penalty that he forgot to watch the end of the play. None of them saw a fumble that was clearly a fumble and happened very early.

 
Somebody did a shitty "What we want from TLOU 2" article. Not a single good thing about it, but it does remind me that TLOU 2 needs to have Ellie
learning how to swim. They were together for like a year in the game and he just had to get her pallet to float on every time? So lame.
