Since I have been so outspoken about the bugs with Zombie Vikings, I feel the need to say they messaged me on twitter to ask about the trophy glitch I have.  Hopefully they fix it.

 
Is the magic in Heroes of Loot a manually triggered thing (different button press) or is it just the powers you find in chests, like lightning that are used while firing? I was assuming the latter.

edit - ok, I caught up. they were able to manipulate the pstv whitelist which certainly makes that thing more useful (although I have no idea what the 'virtual touchscreen' they were talking about is)

With the PSTV you click in one stick and it create a pointer finger which simulates the front touch screen and when you click in the other stick (I think R3) it creates a pointer finger which simulates the rear touch screen. At least that is what I assume they would mean by "virtual touchscreen."

not that I'm promoting it because it's dumb but if you're not a complete moron that goes off and dings a bunch of trophies at the same time you wouldn't get banned from psn (and even then I kinda doubt it). if you just picked off a couple annoying trophies here and there no one would be the wiser except for junior detectives that might report you on psnp when they saw you pick up an online trophy from e.g. mortal kombat vita where the servers have been shutdown for over a year.

 
Sony would have to give a shit about trophies to ban someone over them.  They essentially let the hackers get all the items in those promotions where you used trophies to bid.  PSNProfiles isn't even very good about getting rid of cheaters and the trophies are the only reason their site exists.

yeah, talking about cfw/modding/hacking/emulation is or was a banworthy offense not too long ago. but they'd have to a.) come over to the cag ghetto and b.) also care. I think it's interesting stuff and we're not posting links to anything but other forums discussing it so big whoop.

and hacking trophies is srs bzns.

 
Don't really care about banning or anything but a lot of us have fun with trophies and hacking trophies can ruin that fun.

I am probably the top of the PSNot TT trophy list if it wasn't for all you cheaters (and Chives).

I didn't used to care about trophies or achievements. But it can be fun trying to get some and keep up with others on our list (and our personal friends list).

I don't get cheating. If I know I only won because I cheated I don't see the point.

Probably at least partly why I have all but given up on competitive MP stuff. I figure I am not that good to begin with and what percentage of people are cheating anyway?

fair enough, dad. I think of all the assholes on the internet this is probably one group that wouldn't bother with that nonsense even if someone posted explicit directions (and I know I'd be considered the most likely candidate out of the assholes based on my history) but I'll drop it if it's bugging you. I was surprised that they were basically just written to unprotected files and was curious about the whole thing but I ain't no cheater. I'm pro-fun!

I only used the left control stick and the x button. magic is same as ranged strength attack.

i am trying to get 1st on leaderboards before they 'nerf/fix' the valk.

also im trying to find any other perma boosts like the ring of fire and medalions of time...

I'd watch but I'm like twenty games behind and I don't want to spoil myself on all the real-world stuff I'm sure is in there. Desmond is still the main character, right? Don't answer that.

I might buy one copy (don't have the spare cash for a second copy) because Dell seems to be going $25-eGC-crazy for a bunch of preorders and it'd be nice to start a GC train to get a few of them on the cheap.

Speaking of AC I heard a podcast this morning where they were talking about Syndicate. I loved 4 and didn't play Unity. It dawned on me though I might be better off in the future playing just the shorter stand alone DLC games. I still have Freedom Cry to play but maybe I'll just play the Jack The Ripper DLC instead of getting the full Syndicate. After all these awesome open world games lately AC is really started to show it's age with combat and the control mechanics. I know Unity changed some things but I think they need to take a year off to push the envelope again. I thought about buying the old ones on PS3 for $5 each but I can't imagine it would be worth it at this point.

I go to Target for groceries every week. I use cartwheel most times. Even if I save like a buck at most each week. I dont spend much anyway.

Target is so much nicer than Walmart (and prices arent really much higher if at all) and almost as good as Publix with groceries so you got nothing to worry about for a long time.

Absolutely agree on the Wal-Mart comparison. Close to Publix though? I am not so sure about that. They really do set the standard. Target probably is the closest but it still seems like a considerable gap.
