Zimm/Gator - did you have any issues downloading episode 2 of Minecraft Story Mode? My kids had ep 1 on iOS and I purchased episode 2, which it happily let me do, but when trying to download it it fails every time. I look online and it sounds like there's similar problems on other platforms.

It wouldnt download me from inside the game. I had to download it from the store. However, I have the season pass instead of individual episodes.

Also my youngest tripped over the power cord to our oldest's laptop and it broke the cord connector. Too bad they don't have a magnetic breakaway cable like out MacBook Air.

I haven't played it yet, but it appears to have downloaded just fine via web store queue. Like Gator, I also have the season pass and had no problem checking out with it or queuing it up.

Interesting. I guess it's a bug with the game. No other way to download on iOS then from inside the game. Sucks.

Are you really playing the Darksiders games back to back? I love the series (only played the first, but I guess the second is more of the same, so yay), but I think that would burn me out.

I want to get the PS4 remaster of II soon. It's only $30, but I'm hoping it'll hit $20 or less on Black Friday. I'm one trophy away from the plat on the first one. It's the stupid 160 kills on the flying section. I need to just sit down sometime and play it til I get it.

 
A trick or treater dressed as a zombie asked me if I was playing Borderlands. I said yes. He asked if it was for PS4. I said yes. He said PS4 is the best. Extra candy for him. Sorry Zimm.

I was redeeming a shift code that gives you a shotgun that shoots pumpkins and a Halloween skin for each of the 6 characters. Can't find the skin but got the shotgun equipped. This was for TPS.

I can see why pc master race would be pissed if their games dont look better.I would be pissed too spending thousands and having to set all the settings manually and not getting a better experience than a shitty ps4
 
I kinda feel bad about giving Zimm shit over and over again for not having a PS4. On the other hand there's a generous helping of contempt mixed in with that. Buy a PS4, ya loser.

I didn't turn the light on until Florida had a commanding lead in the SEC East, so I think I missed most of the crowd of kids.  Only 2 little boys and 2 little girls since.

Yes we do. My wife is pissed that she is missing the Miami game. She actually went to FSU but grew up in a family with Miami season tickets. She somehow is a fan of both still. We try not to talk much about football and Thanksgiving is always... interesting.

Yeah, it was the gamble with Gamefly that it was going to happen that way. They sent me Darksiders 2 instead of AC:S or Dragon Quest Heroes.

The worst part is that I've already played both on 360. First game is definitely better than the second one, although it's still fun enough. This remaster is kind of meh though. I've had a few frame rate stutters and even a full crash. Oh, and I glitched out during a boss fight which was fun.

I think I got 160 on the nose for the flying section. Only had to try two or three times, so I might have gotten lucky. Just concentrate on the green bugs and bats in the cave.

 
With the the way it's pouring here I'd be surprised if we got any trick or treaters at  all.  I'm not looking forward to going out later.

I finally got 7-1 and got close on 7-4. I can clear the bottom section somewhat consistently now but the top part gets me.

I doubt it's helpful advice, but you need to take the top part as slowly as necessary. Jump over the gear/ball, move under a sawblade or two, jump over the gear/ball, etc.

EDIT: Never mind, I guess. :lol:

Well friend already spoiled it for me (even though the winner was obvious) but watching game 3 right now. I was able to watch the first two before I went to work.

The ending ceremony was definitely sucked compared to last year and the intro was lame. You should see OGN's intro to the finals, man that was sick.

Guacamelee plat. That challenge where you have to throw the chicken to the exit nearly made me throw my controller.

Not sure if I liked it more than Dust, but they're both great games.

 
Sweet I just found a bottle of Not Your Father's Root Beer in the back of the fridge (been craving for another) and found my IA VT cartridge inside my egg carton.  Good way to end a day.

fuck yeah. Solo'd the Meat is Murder easter egg, rescue 4 survivors in one game and reach wave 25 in one run. Just need to grind a few more survivors and then I can move on to the carrier map.

Two of the levels are almost pure luck or at least barely skill-based (7 & 16) while most of the others boil down to pure platforming skill or having a specific route/strategy. I know I can do it--I just don't know how long it'll take.

Also, Level 8 is really easy considering you can longjump across the bottom of the screen (8:50 mark):

Whoa, it was 2 hours. Pancakes hogged all the companions, so I had nothing to do for 20 minutes while he took their turns.

Game is really good though. Shame it's not 4 player.
