heads up, target kids wish list app (NOT cartwheel or the regular mobile app) has a 10% off coupon for a bunch of categories (including video games) that's good through 11/25.  since b2g1 is next week this should be a good chance to snag some stuff.  also, 11/6 and 11/7 is double tiv at target.  looks like they may have already tanked the values so you might be able to start planning now.

to get it:

1. install target kids wish list app from play store/apple store

2. go through the 'create' option (sometimes you have to make 2 apparently)

3. a coupon will be generated as a button in the bottom middle of the screen

edit - looks like they give you an online code along with the barcode

edit 2 - you may want to use your phone's screenshot feature in case the app goes dopey or something when you're in the store

blood dragon was probably my favorite far cry, but i also love that cheese-y 80s action style. 3 was great, 4 was more like 3.5, never played 1, and 2 was a terrible mess.

You can still see your wallet balance if you hover over the dropdown arrow in the upper-right.

Interesting. It's flakey. I'd noticed that a week or three back, but today when I was looking earlier it wasn't showing those numbers so I thought they'd gotten rid of them. I actually clicked on Add Wallet Funds earlier to go to my account page and see how much money it has. The numbers are back now, though.

Hover over your user name at the top and it will have your wallet total next to "add wallet funds." It doesn't show in my version of firefox but it does show in chrome.

jfc, how do so many of you have kids? I just spent 15 minutes arguing with a 15 year old about why getting the 100$ psn copy of blops 3 is a terrible idea and the kid is too dumb to realize that it just might mean that someone has already taken care of his stupid game. And in a better more cost efficient manner.

First mistake - trying to reason and/or be subtle with a teenager. Straight up doesn't work.

Kids are great for a while though. Then at like 13 you basically just put em on a sled on a steep hill and yell at them when they need to dodge trees and hope they listen. With any luck they end up at the bottom intact with just a few bruises.

I think I did it backwards then. I went down the hill and hit the tree head on instead of being at the top yelling.

Don't be too sure. Our 18 year old is getting panties with dorky weed slogans delivered to our house and had her car impounded because she didn't bother getting a license plate for two months. I guess time will tell!

Good lord, I take it back. I'll take pointless blops related problems any day. I fear the day my brother discovers weed and girls that will actually like him back. And the day they realize he looks like Jaden Smith without the crazy eyes and dreads.

 
I got bored and stopped reading that article a third of the way through. How people keep digging for secrets in one game is beyond me. More power to them. They have a goal at least.
 
Damn just came home and unboxed my Superbeat Xonic collectors edition.  Definitely one of the best collections I ever purchased.  More game should do the whole vinyl setup.

It is as I suspected. From a fresh install from the PS+ copy + Cerberus DLC on a new game on a different account, on a different PS3; galaxy map shows access to the Thief recruitment mission and Overlord; Shadow Broker mission you don't get access to until later in the game so I just assume that would be included as well. So the 3 DLC on the disc are included.

So they just word the UE edition how they do to sucker people into paying $15 more for Arrival ($7), and appearance/weapon packs ($8) at no additional discount.

If anyone besides Vig manages to get the 100% trophy on Super Meat Boy (not the Plat, the trophy for 100%'ing the game) then I'll dive back in. Otherwise I'm probably done.
