When checking the trailers I did come across this posted in a number of places and gave it a listen as well. I started ME1 and just couldn't get into it within the first few hours. I'll try again with the female Shepard as she sounds a lot more engaging.

 
Well, look at that, I just lost another RB1.  Dion Lewis.  Third of the year.  Unbelievable.

Edit: might not be as bad as I thought.

Edit2: Nope, it's bad.  Dammit, I really like that kid and he was tearing it up this year.

Went to see Crimsom Peak with the wife (not my choice.) It wasn't bad. Very deliberate. It wasn't until the credits rolled and I saw that it was written and directed by del Toro that the somewhat plodding nature of the story made sense--it wasn't done by an American so it relied on suspense rather than cheap tricks.

Mia Wasikowska did a good job. I'd only seen here in Alice in Wonderland, which she didn't impress me in. Tom Hiddleston was surprisingly decent for my first non-Loki experience, too.

 
Created my Visa Checkout account. Kept getting that stupid popup about it being too slow. Whacked that sucker with Adblock Plus and it let me proceed without any issues.  :cool:

Are there any after the salt world where you can cheat your way through the level with someone besides the kid? I found one where commander video made it easy but that's about it. Anything that's one screen I can usually make it through but the longer ones now require too much effort/focus.

I seriously don't understand how you can 1 life this crap.
 
Man, I really thought the Panthers would be flat today after the late OT game on Monday night and the quick turnaround.  But I guess they've really got a chip on their shoulder about everyone saying their the worst undefeated team.

The Kid = Easy Mode. No other character helps with levels as much as he does, though as I've mentioned before, there are a handful of levels where Meat Boy is better to use than The Kid. If you play as Meat Boy, be aware of how slippery he can be, specifically with sliding up walls if you jump towards them at an upwards angle.

As for specific levels you can "cheat your way through", you'll have to name particular ones, as most levels do have a trick to them, but typing all of the workarounds here would be too lengthy.

It's really more about the Packers issues than it is that Denver or Carolina.

 
I don't understand. Packers were good three weeks ago. Now we can't get any flow and people are fighting on the sideline and we're not good.

Thank Cliff we got the Lions next week.
 
Anyone with Amazon's No-Rush Shipping credits (for digital MP3s and whatnot) should think about using them because they apparently expire this Saturday (11/14).

 
The Dolphins suck ass.

Visa Checkout got all the way to the final screen before erroring out on me.

Walmart cashier took literally 15 minutes to process my gift card on an $8 purchase.

And I missed Mewtwo at Best Buy.

This day fucking sucks.

Rothliesberger just had to be helped off on a sack where the defender came down on the back of his left foot which caused it to force downward and twist into the turf.  Wouldn't be surprised if there's a break.  He's being helped to the locker room now, not putting any weight on it.

Was that the out of bounds call? I didn't watch replays. Like I've bitched a billion times, refs have too much influence in the game. Lots of bad calls in the Dolphins game too. Check out this sweet clean block on one of the Bills TD passes:

Character building win for the Panthers right there. Everything was going the Packers way right at the end and the Panthers survived somehow.

Don't really give a shit about either team but cheering for everyone that can potentially take out the Seahawks.

 
VISA checkout has locked me out because I guess I didn't have the right card number for verification. I think it was my old card before getting a chipped one. I have no idea any more what that card number was. Sigh.

Yeah Carolina is solid but gives up leads late too much. They remind me of the Packers last year. I like what I see from Cam though.

I feel better that Rodgers threw for over 300 yards as that's what you should do in a loss when you are down by 20 points in the first half. Not sure why he threw for less than 100 last week.
