I really like The Talos Principal, but not sure I can play it. Even with 3rd person view and no camera bobbing it makes me feel like I'm going to puke. It's something with how the camera moves. Maybe if I limit it to really short sessions....

I had planned to play it, but since I do get motion sick pretty easily I might have to skip it based on what you have said about it.

 
All done with Sleeping Dogs Definitive, got all of the DLC trophies to 100% it. Hope it trades in decently at Hastings tomorrow.
 
Man, Jeremy Langford and Danny Woodhead with the herculean effort and yet I still fall short because I draw the highest scorer of the league and I'm the second highest...

 
Thanks for the help on Terramorphus and level boosting, jimbo. Saved me a good chunk of grinding and grief with Terramorphus. Also, a hat tip to you for the info on using a Gamestop rental for the DLC.

3 missions deeper into BLOPS 3, I'm warming up more to the gameplay, though Hardened difficulty is more difficult than I expected. There's no way I'm going near "Realistic" mode.

Yeah, I posted about Hanson in the MLB thread. Pretty rough to die at 29. His parents also lost his younger brother a couple years ago, so you've got to feel for them.

I am tempted too. Also might cheap out and get that 55" Toshiba 1080p for $350. Available now. The room it would go in we sit 12' back from the TV so doubt I would miss the extra Ps at over twice the price or more.

I also notice if you buy a select number of the $59.99 games you can get 3 months of PS+ for $5. Might be a deal for some if they can't find a better deal on some of these new releases when you factor in GCU.

 
I ended up doing the Target buy 2 get 1 free deal.  UCC, BO3 and FO4.   Selected store pickup.  Will run there after work if my wife isn't able to pick it up for me during the day.  

Fallout 4 is now live (and Tomb Raider).  I had a $30 GC and a couple other promo codes.  $5 off $50 and 10% off.

I just did the exact same for pickup as well. Was $97.xx for me after everything and I used some credit from this weekend's trade in promo. Dont feel too bad about not using GCU for once since Fallout wouldnt get here for me till next week from BB.

 
I got the right matchup for my teams pitiful performance this week; edged out MWN by just under 6pts. I would have lost against anyone else. I still have a one game lead on 'the pu$$y', but the goings gonna get tough now that I've lost my second RB in two weeks.

Damn you, Zimm, for snatching Williams last week!
 
Thanks Owl for the tip, and Topside for the further recommendation on the PSN code for $40. Smooth transaction. I even accidentally sent $50 as I was trying to do two things at once and the guy sent the extra $10 right back along with the code. Might be the best option right now for anyone not stocked up on years of Plus.

From the best buy add, most likely get witcher and elder online, might throw in dark souls 2 as well at 20.

The new need for speed at 35 will be tempting as well.

The borderlands handsome at 25 is a hell of a deal for anyone that doesnt have it already.

hahah that free speaker for 50 deal some people got from best buy, ad has the same speaker for 10 bucks on BF. Still free if you were spending the 50 but funny either way to me.

I'm looking at grabbing a tv from best buy as well. The 6o" Samsung 4k would be nice to grab if I can get the dooorbuster...or else the 50" vizio and 49" lg would be good enough

In the middle of a parry fest on the Act 2 boss to get my last star (yay suspended play), but once that's done all non-online trophies for Foul Play will be mine.

So the only thing holding me back from the plat is being able to actually connect online for a game with the Vita.  Several attempts with MWN were stymied last night and I'm afraid I'm gonna have to wait for a patch to get the plat.  I'm gonna go ahead and assume that the broken Vita online is why it got pulled from the store.

Yeah a former coworker of mine is probably getting a PS4 and will get this for sure if he does. Not sure I will pick up too many games from BB this year. Probably trade UCC (rebuy digitally when cheap), FO4 or BO3 at BB and pick up JC3 around 12/1. Maybe New Order over at GS for $15 if I can walk in later in the day Friday or Saturday and get that. If not I can wait.

That should be enough games to last me a few months.

 
Target took care of the baby registry stuff by holding the coupon off for 6 days, which is past the cartwheel deal. So now, buying the target cartwheel deal + Fallout 4, or the best buy with fallout4 are pretty much the same. If I want a couple more games I'll go with target and the b2g1 deal, or else I'll take the best buy and get the free charging dock.

I'm pretty surprised that chewy's having that problem. I'm excessively sensitive to that stuff and haven't had a single issue playing in 3rd person the whole time. maybe the x/y axis sensitivity is faster or slower than normal (the camera movement does feel weird but I havent' had to mess with it). sucks though since it is pretty rad.

I have carte blanche to buy a tv since we recently fixed up our basement and put some furniture down there. I think the biggest I can get is 50", so that vizio fits the bill. but if I can make it fit I might go nuts and get that samsung 55". I haven't bought a tv in so long I have no idea what I'm doing.

If you can squeeze in that 55 inch samsung, Id go for it.

it has full array local dimming and you're gonna want that.

That vizio aint that good, only has 14 zones. There is a similar vizio that is the m series that has 32 zones.

You're gonna want either the samsung or the m series vizio, that d series in the ad aint that good.

Good catch on the Vizio. I thought all their 4K were the M series. The M series is rated highly for cost to benefit but not sure about D series. It must be inferior though. I dont even see a D series on the regular Best Buy website.

From what I gathered on my quick research, pretty similar minus that the d has less zones than the m so the blacks are not as good on the d.

For any tv you are looking to buy always google (tv model #) avs forum. 90 percent of the time there will be a thread full of av nerds talking about the series of tv and how good it is based on the specs.
