Still, their strategy of relying on old games to buy them time while they make the new one is laughable at this point. I mean this is what, the fourth Zelda remake (inlcuding 3DS and WiiU) since Skyward Sword came out?

I know Sony has used GoW and Uncharted remakes to tide the peeps over, but doesn't seem to be that much of a gap between them. Plus they're more economical then the full prices Nintendo is charging.
I still don't understand why Nintendo doesn't take some of their banked cash to hire more developers. I realize they strive for quality but most of their stuff is taking forever at this point.

Zelda remakes are weird to me too because for the most part whenever I've finished one I've never thought about replaying it. Zelda 1 and 2 being the exception but I was younger and had more time and less $$$. People buy the remakes to catch up on what they never played or didn't finish. Wind Waker spoke to me in that way but I finished Twilight Princess so this is lost on me.

I also noticed it looks like Star Fox Zero might be forcing their "unique" control scheme on the game which I hope is not the case. I just want to play it like Starfox 64.

January - Amplitude

February - Mighty No. 9

But what do I buy in November and December?   That 3DS XL Walmart has for Black Friday is tempting.

4 Mega Man stickers

Nintendo 3DS Collector’s Edition contents (MSRP $49.99):
Standard edition, including all physical bonus items

So basically $20 for the gold Mega Man amiibo, that's very lame. Also very lame that there's no additional games in this collection despite the fact it's twice as much as the digital version.

Gaf is wanking like crazy for this bloomy 6 second gif of Zelda.

Any other game and they immediately would start shitting on the grass clipping through the horse's tail.

cloud in smash!? now i have to buy an amiibo. he better not be stupid hard to get.

got my preorder in for the fire emblem special edition. glad they decided to do that here, cause i wasn't planning on getting them piece by piece(ok, i was going to, but i wasn't going to like it)

I'm not sure I buy the economical argument since Uncharted Collection was priced $60 at release.

I have played exactly one piece of Twilight Princess. The boss battle at the end and not actually the whole thing, just the part where you
rapidly press a button
because my kid asked for help with that.

I hate Twilight Princess.

Really glad they did the special edition here. Grabbed one from bby for that sweet GCU price drop. Dunno if the get the second version for $20 only applied for only digital versions or not, but that's how I was gonna have to do this if that was the only way to get a discount. Either that, or heaven forbid, try to wait out a price drop on the physical editions.

An extra $20 for an amiibo and some postcards is dumb. They should have stuck with the extra $10 they've been doing for every other game. Especially since the gold doesn't look nearly as good as the original blue one.

I think Cloud is also in the new dissidia arcade fighting game. And of course he was in the ps1 fighting game ehrgeiz which I remember being fun.

Dude likes fighting.

But that's for 3 games. The only other current-gen re-release I'm aware of that went for $20 is Arcania: The Complete Tale.

I also got my Visa Checkout code. Yay.
3 games that can be beat in under 10 hours each. When I played Twilight Princess it took well over 30 hours and I didn't 100% everything either. I don't love the $60 price tag for it either but I just don't think that's solely a "Nintendo" thing this gen.

But each of those 10 hours is better than the 30 hours of TP.

I really enjoy Twilight Princess but it takes a lot of mental gymnastics to think that it is equal to all 3 Uncharted games.

And length of the games isn't a good argument anyway, but it's especially not good when you consider FFX and FFX-2 and the Kingdom Hearts re-releases didn't cost full new game price either and those games (especially Final Fantasy) dwarf Twilight Princess in content.

It's not an apples to apples comparison by any means (nor should it really since its 2 very different game styles), I just think it's silly to say Nintendo has their remakes priced so much higher than Sony or Microsoft when there are clear examples of them charging full price for remakes too.

I just got an email saying they're having technical difficulties with my best buy code and they will work on sending me a new one. Nice of them to tell me.

Is it just me or does that look like shit? I knew the e3 teaser trailer was way too good to be real but this looks really odd to me. Does Link not have a face? Kind of odd we've gotten literally nothing on this game and its coming in 2016.

JUst got the shit beat out of me in destiny PvP by GermanDungeonPRN. Laughed way too hard when I realized what his tag was.

And not to prolong this asinine conversation, but I give sony a pass for the uncharted collection price tag. Remasters as a rule I don't think should hit the full $60 price, but it is three actual different games. I'd have given ms a pass if they charged $60 for all three remastered gears games. I'm all for Nintendo jumping on the remaster bandwagon too, we'll see if they do enough to it to make it worth the money/effort.

what the actual fuck.

cloud in smash?
Cloud in Smash is weird. I'll probably get his amiibo even though I don't know anything about him or ff7
I'm still trying to pick my jaw up from the floor. And I forgot that this means he gets an Amiibo. That will be the last one I ever buy, jkam, pinky swear!

Trailer because YEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH:

His tag is german dungeon porn.
Oh ok..haha. Probably funnier if I would have gotten it right away. I Googled PRN, and all I saw was nurse lingo so I was like ok...I did think "shirtless McCaunaghey" for that other guy was pretty random/funny though!

the shirtless mccaunaghey was also hilarious. Great clan name

Anybody interested in the Uncharted Collection Code? I'm not sure I trust selling codes outside of Cag.

Sold to Jimbo.
