If they can beat bby's black friday pricing on Diablo, I'd get it digital. Otherwise that list seems like a bunch of repeats and stuff that probably won't have a decent sale?

I don't doubt there will be a flash sale. But I do doubt all those games are correct.
It's an odd list to be sure. I included the source just to have somebody else to point blame fingers at.

I almost forgot we get a $15 "turkey card" (gift card for walmart) every year the week before Thanksgiving. Might use it to get KH 2.5 for $5 real money.

My gf is wanting to start playing some co-op games with me, any recommendations for someone with little to no gaming skill? I've already thought about the LEGO games just looking for something different.

I thought I remembered mario tennis being pretty fun when I played it on n64 or gc.
Never really cared for any of the console tennis games, never tried any of the portable ones. I just think the golf ones had far deeper gameplay and progression, from what I remember.

Vig is right that Mario Golf GBC is just an amazing game, I played the shit out of it.

It feels so fun to run around in MGS V missions with recharging Stealth Camo, an infinite-suppressor tranq pistol, tranq sniper rifle, and infinite-ammo bandana to finish off the mission tasks.

So this game is essentially an endless nickel and dime dlc game?
Pretty much the exact opposite. All the useful DLC is being made available for free. It's just skins for the most part that they're charging for, and the reason that they're selling so well is because people want to show their gratitude for all the great free content Psyonix is providing for the game.

We all expect a 50% of Lego Dimensions playsets deal next week now. MAKE IT HAPPEN!
I told the guy that set up the starter pack deal that we need deals on all the playsets too, so hopefully he gets it done. Or they'll fall into the mythical all vidya games deal that may or may not be happening later.

On that mythical all vidya games deal, did we have a mythical percentage off?

We didn't. But hypothetically if its a real thing (and I'm not saying it is), past "All whatever" deals have typically been in the 10-15% off range. I can't imagine vidya games would go higher then 10% off.

Hypothetically speaking of course.

It is admittedly way outside the box, but if Nom Nom Galaxy went on sale again you should give it a try. I did a review of it for the website. I could see someone who is not normally into gaming liking it.

Maybe a kart racer? Kart racers are always fun. Little Big Planet is usually good too. Rayman origins was a solid option too, there's a ton of stuff to play in legends as well. I think the lego games are a great idea overall though, I tend to get the most co-op time out of those. Also been doing controller swapping lately on Toy Soldiers if either of you like tower defense type games. Couldn't get the co-op to work properly in that one though.

I wrote up a similar list not too long ago for one of my cousins:

Trine 1 and 2

Chariot

Little Big Planet

Guitar Hero

Minecraft

Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light/Temple of Osiris

Diablo 3

I have NHL 10 still sitting in shrink wrap from a Target clearance a few years ago. I know Stotch plays the NHL games, but he's gone 4eva, so I'll ask everyone else here. I'd mostly be playing it for the be a pro mode or whatever it's called, and simming some seasons in the GM mode. How is the progression for the be a pro mode? Can you eventually get your player to be Wayne Gretzky with the ability to cross-check like a super mutant?

He's still on and you can still send him a PM.

Is it just because people don't have to deal with timezones much in their life that they have so much trouble with them? I keep having this guy message me from ps3t asking for blood bowl boosting in the middle of the day and I keep telling him I'm gmt-6 and at work (he's in Europe somewhere).

Since when did work stop you from playing games? With your feet.

The thing I like the most about that supposed flash sale list is that Invizimals: The Alliance on it.  Give the trophyless psp version away on ps+ and then put what we should've gotten on sale.  What a deal!

PSA, I saw MattNY (Yanksfan) online on PSN this morning or late last night when I was screwing around with my Vita so it looks like he's not dead.

I am having the guys over for a poker night next Friday night. So I hope she moves out and I have that shit setup by then. At least the TV will be.

Yeah I still think 4K is useless for now but figured I will have the TV a while and prices are close enough now that I am going all the way. This Sony is rated really well for sports and games with very low lag and literally NO motion blur. Yeah I know the sub is wireless but it seems that the subs are an extra $80 or so. I guess that isnt much though when I am spending $2500 for a TV and sofa recliner anyway.
I bought the Vizio Sound bar with wireless sub and rear speakers for $150 during the Amazon black Friday in July sale. They work great, would recommend them highly! And I figured with next week you can probably get them for similar?

I will be looking to buy shit online for sure. I will NOT, NEVER EVER EVER go to a store during Black Friday. EVER. NEVER EVER EVER! hopefully shit will be available online for more than a second or two.

I'm an NHL person... Yes Be a Pro is fine, however if I remember correctly, I think 10 was the first be a pro year. So may not have a ton of features.

The game is worthless resale or anything else, so you might as well pop it in and give it a go? If you have played versions since, it may be a bit of a shock how different the game feels. it is hard going back that far in sports games if you have played more recent iterations.

What kind of battery life do you get out of wireless speakers? I've always avoided them due to that aspect.
Now when I mean wireless, it is like Gator said, they don't have to be plugged into the sound bar, but they do have to be plugged into a wall for power.

They just make it easy to be placed in the back of the room near an outlet rather then have a cord running from front to back. The rear speakers also plug into the Sub so those weren't wireless either, but they are easy to hide if you get rear speaker stands.
