I like the difference between the two Guitar Hero Live modes. Playing the campaign like a rockstar in first person is pretty cool (and corny) and it's easy to feed off the energy of the crowd.

The online mode with random song selection has been fine so far. I like being introduced to new music and usually have fun focusing on hitting the notes even if I'm not a fan of the song. I did run into one track where I feel like those seizure warnings in front of games would really apply. Too many colors and motion in it. The song is "At Night in Dreams" by White Denim.

I've been winning ugly these past few weeks in Fantasy Football, but a wins a win. It looks like me, Pharm, and Therm have secured playoff spots. Pitfall has just about wrapped up the fourth spot, but anything can happen.

Pharm, our matchup this week should be for the division title.

Well I probably won't actually get it since UPS is delivering it and they are so damn inconsistent in my area. Sometimes they come at like 6 or 7 other times it's 2 PM when I'm at work and of course they won't leave it at my apt office!

Damn, thought I was done spending money.

In for transformers, and gotta debate if returning the copy of DQ I got last week at $40 with certs is worth the hassle. It probably will be.

Apparently I got DQ with a gift card, not certs. How annoying is that to return?

if you kept the gift card, not annoying. there's a very high chance the funds will end up back on that same gc. getting one reissued if you threw the original away is often a hot pain in the ass though.

This is why I usually throw them in a draw for a few weeks even after they are used up.
