Word of warning to all of you who bought Lego Dimensions and plan to play it on Christmas with a kid.  There is an update that is over 6.5 GB.

My wife took the youngest to Disney today and since the oldest didn't want to go we decided to go ahead and give him the game so we could play it while they are gone.  He was all excited and ready to go after building the base and was not happy when he saw the 40 minute wait time to download the update.  I should have known to check for that while he was building the base, but I had my head up my ass apparently.
Agents of Shield might be turning into my favorite show. Definitely my favorite network one.
My kids and I are watching it on Netflix, still in season 1. It's goofy, but entertaining enough.

I watched the first 2-3 episodes but had trouble maintaining interest. Is it something that gets better as you get further in? If so I'll push on a bit, otherwise I'll just accept that it's not my kinda show and ignore it.

I am doing a flying challenge and I guess since I didnt clear a base near the race they shoot at me.  One shot and the plane is uncontrollable.  yeesh.  guess I have to wait to play that again.

It gets WAY better around 2/3rds of the way into season 1, and it's been improving every episode since.

Yeah, it gets much better after the first half-ish of the first season? Its a shame it takes so long, but the first few episodes really don't represent the rest of the series.

Yeah, once shit goes down in one of the Captain America movies Agents of Shield basically carries it forward and the show becomes awesome.

Cool, I'll watch through at least all of s1, then. Having decided to drop Arrow and Flash I need another superhero show fix. Planning to start JJ this weekend but there's just not much of it to be had.

also iv become so cheap when buying games due to cag and having children. I remember spending $56 (30% off of $80!) at gamestop on a used copy of mvc2 and now i have it on ps3 for like $10-15. I got blops3 for $30 with that bb glitch, and batman ak for $17 due to a glitch, and it's like tough to pay full price $15 for those ps2 games that came out 10-15 years ago, when I can get life is strange and tales from borderlands for $17.50 total. i love me some ps2 games, and im a trophy dude, but not at those prices. great for those of you that can afford it tho. i didn't get into steam so much, but if I was even more cheap I know they have huge sales all the time, but then no trophies...

nostalgia bomb

also my girl is awesome and asked where sephiroth was, i told her he's probly in the badguy trailer

Found a drilling platform and it had a lot of shit to blow up.  Best part of the game so far.  Slow down was less than at other locations it seemed.  After liberating it I tried to swim to the bottom to see if I could make it.  Nope.

Ha, Konami changed their Twitter description to remove the second sentence here:

It's a quote from MGS V, but it seems a little too accurate in describing them right now.

I agreed to go to the MLS cup finals maybe 3 hours before I spontaneously got a puppy. Kinda forgot about it until yesterday, and now everything is straight HYYYYYYYYYYYYPEEEEEE. Go Timbers!

You only need dissidia 012. You get to a point where all the chapters from the first game become playable. I still fire it up from time to time on my Vita.
Yeah, that's what I have and I meant the built-in first game.

Every time those games go on sale I'm amazed that Sony has the balls to sell both as separate items for the same price. So shitty.

Basically like a lot of Whedon shows the first season is kinda so-so, the big uptick in quality begins with the episode that ties into Winter Soldier 2/3rds of the way through the 1st season and that has continued on through S2 and into the current 3rd season.

yeah those ps2 game prices suck, especially when you can get most games these days for cheap. Hopefully they have sales eventually, but it sucks having dark cloud and rogue galaxy right here for ps2 in front of me but those trophies tho...

also a kid named Bud Weiser broke into budweiser brewery today in stl, lol, i thought my kids had crazy names

I guess we should watch Winter Soldier before getting too much farther.

Watch Winter Soldier between episode 16 and 17, that's when the movie came out when the episodes aired, and that's when it makes the most sense to avoid big spoilers for the movie / the show post-Winter Soldier.

Played Dragon Fin Soup these past few nights.

Holy shit is the interface a mess. Sorting never seems to work effectively. The icons are super tiny, and it's really difficult to tell which equipment offers the best stat increases.

The crafting mechanic is a total clusterfuck as well.

I do like the game , just wish it had a bit more polish and more attention to world building. I can't believe there's no faq or wiki for it. I like to at least know where I'm going.

How much did you like the first season as I thought it was really bad and cheesy. I guess I'll give the second season a try some time.

i love playing games as much as you all do but if you cry at the announcement of a video game your mentally unstable.  get that kid some help.
