The only device I have on my amazon account is a fire TV stick and it's not compatible with that app but I "purchased" it anyway. Let's see if it will still give me the $5 credit anyway....

Yes!

I played through half the campaign and intend to get back to it. Every other person in the thread who fired it up hated it, though. The maps haven't aged very well--everybody keeps having to look at guides just to figure out where to go since so many of the keys and doorways are hidden in weird places.
I didn't hate it--DN3D just felt very tedious after a while. It didn't help that (like you said) things were hidden in weird places, the maps were almost too big sometimes, and the game felt like it took foreeeeeeever (though that could be more my fault since I played it slowly, having never played the original).

If there was some way to adjust the difficulty for my current playthrough down to Easy, I might get back to it.

Yesterday eventing I shut off the AC/heater in my office and this morning that puddle has mostly dried up. Fortunately there's a second AC/heater unit in the office because I guess this use to be two offices in the past. Or maybe turning the unit off had nothing to do with it. Maybe later I'll turn it back on and see if water starts accumulating again.

Is there a way to tell how many reviews you've done this year on BB?
Keep doing them until you're told you can't?
Go to BB, mouse over Account, choose View All Rewards. From the overview page highlight Rewards and choose Rewards History. Then show 1 year. You can't filter for the rewards specifically but that'll let you see all your reward transactions. This is what you'll see for the reviews:

Sweet! Had 3 more reviews. Posted.

Gnats reportedly in pursuit of Heyward. He has at least one $200 million offer.
I don't see him being worth that much money. He's a good ball player, great defense, but his offensive numbers have never stood out to me. This isn't to say that I wouldn't want him on the Mets but not at that price.

hey zimm I want to make sure we start Friday off on a foot that you approve of, so tell me - when you're painting a room do you tape to do your edging or do you freehand it?

also, we've given up on toasters and now just use the oven on broil.  you can basically toast a whole loaf of bread in like 4 minutes, it's great.

I made two of my kids' beds to be nice this morning but didn't bother with my own.

Downwell running on Vita in sideways mode (I guess that's called "Tate Mode"):

Spoilered for size

I hope they aren't making this a touchscreen game on Vita, though. The only reason I'd buy it on Vita is for physical controls.

Always tape for all house painting. Even when I tape though, I always get a little rouge spots of color where they shouldn't be.

I never make toast for myself because I'm just not a fan. Only use the toaster for waffles. Wife & kid use it though. But we have to have a separate one for her so she doesn't get any gluten crumbs on whatever she's toasting.

I didn't make my coach this morning besides putting the footrest back down. Need to keep the blankets available for the start of the Star Wars 6-movie marathon me and the boy are having all weekend.

Oven toast is the best toast.

I'm sure those huge levels were quite impressive back when it first released, but yeah probably makes the game feel tedious these days.

I agree. If he could hit like he did in 2012 every year (I certainly think he can) and keep up his defensive abilities over a long term contract (I don't think he can) then I'd say he probably is in the current market. I'm fairly certain a $200 million contract will end up being an overpay though. I mean they almost always are no matter who we're talking about.

TR didnt even make top 10.

Big win for sony, those bundles must have done the trick for them. The battlefront and the uncharted ones especially
Wonder if they got a big enough bag of cash from MS that they still did ok. Or if they are regretting it. Came out at a bad time too with all the other big games.

I wasn't here much when it released, Apotheon is pretty awesome right?
Yeah I wound up really liking it and got the plat. At first I hated it because of the weird controls but after getting used to it and getting into the story a bit I found it different and cool.

It's not even that they're big so much as that there's a ton of back-and-forth in a confusing layout with lots of secret areas. The levels aren't at all linear, either. If you know what you're doing it's not a long game at all--there are speed runs at 12-13 minutes long--but you can't get through anywhere near that fast without an extreme familiarity with each map.

Xmen trailer was surprisingly disappointing.
Ivan Ooze guest-starring as Apocalypse doesn't help.

This looks good. I've no idea of the Apocalypse back story so I'm curious as to where he's been all this time. The bible reference was pretty dumb, though. "This mutant guy from 4000 years ago was named Apocalypse!" "Did they get that from the bible?" ...

Oh, and I won the pinball league finals last night. Won enough money to pay for... some of the beer I purchased all season! Now hopefully next season we get back to a more normal number of players. Ours is always the smallest of the FSPA leagues, but this season was ridiculous.

Yeah I really liked it.  I knew it was going to be hard to translate Apocalypse into big screen.  I'll save my full judgment for when the movie comes out.

Jennifer Lawrence is probably my least favorite part about it.  I hope they do end up casting a new mystique for the next film.

Liked for beer, fuck pinball

Jennifer Lawrence is my favorite part of anything.

So did you pull a Therm and post without watching the video? They thankfully have him blue like he is supposed to be instead of purple like that pic.
I watched it (though not with sound because I'm at work), but I didn't notice the shift to blue. It's his face that reminds me more of Ivan Ooze anyway.

I do not know exactly why, but I was not a fan of her in the Mystique role either. She was still hot as always, but that character is so reliant on facial expression and she didn't seem to do a great job at it. I think that was my issue.

This is psnot. You'll make a full judgment based on limited info and you'll do it now, god damn it!

I guess I'm one of the few that doesn't find her (movie) hot. She's like a slightly hotter Mindy Kaling for me.

As for her in the movie, I found her to be one of the weakest links. Also her complaining about her role and being hard to work with makes me like her less. I will say I did enjoy her a lot in her other works just not particularity this one.
