I was never a big fan of really any of the X-Men movies (1 & 2 probably being the best). I always just thought they were ok. I did like Days of Future Past though so I'll give Apocalypse a go. At this point though I'd really like to see Marvel with the rights to the X-Men and see what they would do with it.

This looks good. I've no idea of the Apocalypse back story so I'm curious as to where he's been all this time. The bible reference was pretty dumb, though. "This mutant guy from 4000 years ago was named Apocalypse!" "Did they get that from the bible?" ...
They didn't say his name came from the bible. They said the 4 people are given powers like the 4 Horseman. The line about getting from the bible literally came directly after they showed the 4 Horseman picture and said 4 Horseman.

Yo Lego Dimensions peeps,

What extra level packs have y'all played?

I was gonna grab one today w/ the Cartwheel deal, but am having a hard time deciding between the Back to the Future and Portal ones.  Just curious on peoples opinions of how fun/interesting the levels are.

My son maybe knows a little BttF stuff from watching me play a big of the game an doesn't know any Portal stuff.

Or are any of the other packs better/more fun?

I guess I'm one of the few that doesn't find her (movie) hot. She's like a slightly hotter Mindy Kaling for me.

These are by far the worst pics I can find of her:

Which, you know. Working out + no makeup and such. Granted without putting effort into her appearance she's not abnormally hot. Still looks good enough, though. Then there's this:

As for her in the movie, I found her to be one of the weakest links. Also her complaining about her role and being hard to work with makes me like her less. I will say I did enjoy her a lot in her other works just not particularity this one.
I can agree with the second paragraph. That first one though...

Haven't played any of the extra packs.

I will say that the most fun level in the main game to me was the Portal level. The BttF level was kind of lame, but I would expect the one from the add-on pack to be more BttF focused than the one form the main game was.

We will be getting the Scooby Doo pack, but I wont be able to say anything about it until after Christmas.

The Mindy Kaling comparison was definitely an exaggeration but I just don't find her movie hot.  She just doesn't do it for me.

Are you one of those working humps who can watch twitch on the job? I'm about to head home for lunch and I can try out BttF.

Isn't the Scooby Doo one just a Team Pack though? As in it doesn't have extra levels and just the mini-figures and vehicles? All those options for things are confusing.

Almost done with Freedom Cry, on mission 6 out of 9. I could see how these DLCs really aren't worth it at full price, not that I paid full price for it but you know what I mean. It's fun though. Assassin's is pretty cool.

So how is the trophy list in The Bit.Trip? I've not played any of them and can't tell from the descriptions how difficult completing it would be.

From what I understand, yes and no. I think any of the Team Pack ones unlock the hub world for that set. The Level packs open up extra story mode like levels (and have trophies tied to them).

Maybe Mr Moneybags Honeycutt can answer for us. My kid just really likes Scooby Doo stuff and we needed something to tell the relatives for Giftmas. He really wouldn't have a lot of interest in any of the level packs.

I'm always excited when PS4 games come to my humble handheld, but can I get much enjoyment out of it playing only the single-player stuff? Kratos knows that I don't know anyone to ad-hoc with.
If you got it for free from Plus, then yes. The campaign type thing is decently fun. Better with a friend, but still fun solo. There's also a challenge mode that is strictly single-player. I wouldn't pay $15 for just the single-player stuff, though.

It's gonna be tough for damn sure. No one has the plat yet (according to PSNP), despite the game being out for almost a week now. Seems no one can beat Core, which is damn tough so I get that. Even on easy mode and with checkpoints it gets brutal and hectic. Same with the other games. I never beat any of the games in their original WiiWare releases, so it felt good to knock out Void the other day. The new lower difficulty options help there of course. I think all the difficulty options does is give you a little bit more leeway on misses before you die.

There are some trophies that I don't know what the requirement actually is. I think the Runner ones are just for beating level bosses. And Tyler got some weird one with a dude's face that I don't understand.

But the games are fun and have a great soundtrack and should be played. Gonna be a very rare plat, but there's enough low hanging trophy fruit if that's the only reason you're playing it.

Definitely play Xeodrifter and STFU. I'd pass on Mousecraft if you've got a ton of other stuff to play.

Definitely play STF Ultra, it's unique, time-travel-based self-coop is quite fun.

Here's a couple videos comparing Odin Sphere HD so you can compare classic vs refined mode:

That was pretty cool getting KOTOR on my phone (which I never played so hopefully the android version is ok) and getting $5.

Pass on the dumb ass adventure games (broken age and especially ether one). You can also skip Kung Fu Rabbit.

Definitely play Stealth Inc 2, Super Time Force Ultra, Super Meat Boy, and Xeodrifter.

I liked Castlestorm, Rain, and Futuridium and would recommend a play through of all of them. But not as much as I recommend the previous four.

Chariot would be better if you have someone to play with. Skulls of the Shogun is a really good strategy game, but it's hard so only play it if you like the genre.

Haven't played Mousecraft.

Is it wrong that I'm happy Tomb Raider didn't chart? It ranked in the #20-30 range and only sold 200K copies. fuck third party exclusivity deals.

Also PS4 sold 1539K consoles and One sold 1296K according to a guy from the GAF thread.
And WiiU sold ~200K units. Right around 10% of what all next gen consoles sold last month. Nintendo is wise to be packing it up and moving on to whatever stupid idea they'll have next.
