Yes. That would have also been fucking awesome. And that was close to happening, Aldo landed a hell of a shot.
so at the end of the day the fight boiled down to luck. Aldo was unlucky that McGregor hit him in just the right spot to knock him out because also looked like he hit McGregor harder. It just happened to miss whatever spot would have caused him to be knocked the fuck out. Cause no matter who you are if you get hit in just the right spot you will go down. Aldo was just unlucky it appears.

And I got to see this "fight" for free just now that's why people should be upset for paying for that. Boxing and blood sports are the only thing I can think of where I regularly hear people complain about paying to watch it.

Finally figured out why the hell the Golds have such low volume--the chat volume rocker also impacts the game volume. Maxing out the game volume rocker can still leave you with a quiet game if you don't also hit the other one as well.  :wall:

Finished off The League last night. The whole last season was disappointing. Not sure what happened there--it was probably the worst season in the series.

Wasteland 2 is $20 on Amazon/GameStop. Anyone played it? Looks maybe-sorta like XCOM, which I really enjoyed on PS3.
Baldur's Gate is probably a more accurate comparison. Not sure if anybody in here has actually played it--don't recall any discussion about it and nobody in my TT friend list has. I know a number of people who have played the PC version and liked it a lot, though. It also has a Very Positive rating on Steam over 5,611 reviews. Check out the page for a good in-depth description and plenty of reviews to give you an impression of the game: http://store.steampowered.com/app/240760/

it is alot like fallout 1 and 2 from pc. The game is kinda like xcom but not so much turn based strategy. You gotta assign stat points like charisma, perception, intelligence, etc. I was a huge fan of fallout 1 and 2 (even bought fallout tactics) so i bought it, but iv been so busy i havnt opened it yet. i'll try to play it some today, but those games are a huge time sink. but def buy for that price. altho it might not sell much so it could be ps+ sometime, idk

yeah i got it a few weeks ago on bestbuy when they had it for 30. gcu down to 24 and a 10 cert, so 14 was sweet enough for me

Cleaner to get the eyes skin you have to get to a secret level from 2-1.
you have to look for a turtle shaped sewer cover in the sewer level and blow it up, then go in the warp that pops up. And you have to be playing as eyes.

Every time I skip ufc fight night with the guys someone gets knocked out in record time. Instead I was out with other friends watching bad movies. Movie of the night? Knights of badassdom. Stupid Dinklage larp movie was not worth missing the fights lol

Pst.org shows a 36-50 hour plat. Not sure how that works since the game is supposed to be huge.

That movie was terrible. The end was kind of funny but overall it was just so incredibly bad. The trailers came out years before the movie due to all kinds of issues with the production, too, so I spent a long time looking forward to it.

yeah i read the trophy guide and it was all about save spamming to make multiple choices but it seemed like lots of work so ill prob just play it normal and either not get the plat or be in it for the long haul. saving before making branch choices for trophies and then taking the other choice seems not so fun for a first playthrough. oh and they 51y/o thing was a joke cuz rpgpredictions said i was in my late 50s or something the other day to which i thought i hope i get this much action when im that old. i imagine by the time im 50 i should have something like 20 kids and 10 grandkids or something if it all goes right

my kids are all going to watch wicked play in a few mins and then just me, wife and babies so maybe ill stream some wasteland 2 if i got time. im working on coffee and a bowl right now. and cleaning

I got through about half of that last Vacation movie yesterday before I jumped ahead every 10 minutes or so just to be done with it.  Is it me or does Ed Helms only know how to play one role:  the no balls, low self esteem having, white bread, corny as fuck, hey guy walk all over me and I'll smile about it, dip shit that receives courage from the Wizard at the end of the movie.

Ed Helms is terrible.

Finished Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry last night. It was fun. I think I'm going to have to pick up Syndicate at some point. I figure if I play every other one or two I should be good to go with the series.

We can talk basketball! Nice line for Skal yesterday: 0 pts, 5 fouls.
Yup, how bad does that loss look for duke now???

Man dont get me started on skal. What a fucking joke this guy is so far. Not sure how he was rated so high. Every now and then we get a real bust in a class and I think he is it. I hope this means Cal will start playing Humphries more, kid is only 17 but cant play any worse than skal.

Skal had a lot of zeros in the stat column. 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 1 turnover, 1 block and 5 fouls in only 13 minutes.

I have really fond memories of the first Wasteland on PC. Even with it's copy protection and endings you could read ahead of time in the physical (off-line!) journal book.

I'll presume a Vita version is a pipe dream at this point. PS4 in 2017! (when the ps5 comes out)

BB has Minecraft: Story Mode for $20/$16: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/minecraft-story-mode-season-pass-disc-playstation-4/4462800.p?id=1219750723819&skuId=4462800

Can't say I think it's a good time to buy for yourself since Telltale games drop to nothing, but might be decent for an xmas present for those of you with kids.
Was there ever any talk of a real disc release of this after its complete, as opposed to this Season Pass Disc? I'd grab it now to start playing if I knew for sure there wouldn't be a disc with all content on it later down the road.

Like Therm and Velo said, similar to Baldurs and the original two Fallouts. Its pretty heavy in text story so a lot of reading, which is pretty awesome and a welcome change in this day and age for me.

In fairness we didn't know that early in the year that we could just let your guards shoot! ;)

Tarholes had a bad loss yesterday which was fantastic, though. And Kansas looks like shit, too. This might be the year some out of nowhere team wins it all.

Yea definitely dont think the top 4-5 teams this year are going to be almost unbeatable, but who knows between now and march.

We shot a little better yesterday, but a legit strategy to beat UK right now is to pack the inside of the 3 point line or play good 2-3 zone. Murray and Ulis can both shoot better than they have so far, Ulis still hurting from the elbow inj I think.

UK plays at Kansas in Jan I think, should be interesting.

Syndicate was on sale on the psn on Black Friday for $36 for the standard edition

Lol you call it luck and then go on to explain how it's not luck at all. That Connor's precision was better than Aldo's (which is true but it's also not possible to tell which punch was harder just by watching anyway; some of these guys have freak unexplainable freak power and can knock dudes out with punches that don't even look powerful or flush)

And I already said this but anyone who complains about paying for a short knockout is an idiot. A) The knockout was awesome and B) there were four other fights on the card, two with major implications, one being a championship fight.

fuck, Andy Dalton questionable with a right thumb injury.  I can see this isn't going to be my day.

Edit - Now out.

So... this Disney Infinity shit.  What do I need to buy my nephews?  Is the starter pack enough, or should I get them a shit ton of those other packs as well?

Yeah I know but these only go down down down so no worries. I'm finishing up some DLCs...Mordor's DLC is next plus I still have Batman and some stuff I got on Black Friday like Until Dawn and Transformers Devestation. So when I get to it I get to it. Hopefully it will be $20 or less by then :)

Just depends on how "good" of an uncle you want to be. You can play the entire base game with just the starter pack. There are other level packs that add extra story mode type levels to the game. The rest are all just characters you can play with inside the toy box or their corresponding worlds from the level packs if you buy them.
