I'm so excited about going to Houston for Christmas and having my nephews bug me to play Call of Duty all day every day with them on the 360.

In a year end push to get to 100,000 truetrophy points, I platted Lego LOTR on Vita early this morning. 1700 points to go.

Schnitzel is good! There's a small German restaurant here that is run by a little old German lady. She cooks all the food herself. The Jagerschnitzel, with mushroom gravy, is really good. I usually get that with a side of Spaetzle.
I got currywurst from a food cart once and have been craving it ever since. Last German restaurant we went to was actually kinda bland. Schnitzel usually doesn't have any flavor just by itself, and the sausages weren't what I was expecting. Had to smother everything in brown mustard for some flavor.

Gamestop canceled my EDF 2 order, 5 days after I first placed it. I can only hope the refund is processed correctly...

Or someone's getting fired.

Just signed up for Project Fi. The wife started using it at the beginning of December and loves it. We both got the Nexus 5X on black Friday when it was $80 off. Switching from my current plan, I'll get 2GB of data instead of 1GB for $5 less...$40 instead of $45. And they give you a refund at the end of each month for whatever data you don't use at 1 cent per mb.

I also got a $50 AMEX gift card from someone at work for being so awesome!

Gift Cards yeah!
Have you thought about giving these out at the office?

Glad you're back.

I have thought about going over to FI too as I really want the 5x phone and if I got it would give it a try. I already use att prepaid, its 45 (40 after 5 dollar discount for autopay) a month for 1.5 gb data with month to month rollover data (use 1gb this month have 2gb next basically) and I dont normally use much more than 1gb. Not sure if fi would make too much sense to switch, not sure spring and tmobile have good service around here or not.

Any issues with it? Hows the switching from wifi to wirless when talking on phone? any delay?

I think we have the same AT&T prepaid plan. I forgot it was 1.5 GB since I don't really use that much. I only signed up for 2GB with Fi because I knew they'd give back whatever I don't use, and at its base its still cheaper than AT&T.

I'm not sure if you've looked at it, but you're required to use one of the two new nexus phones, either the 5x or the 6p. The 5x is an awesome phone and coming from a Fire phone, it's nice to have a device I can do whatever I want on and install any app I need without circumventing the phone's OS.

The wife's never been in a situation where the phone has had to switch from cell service to wifi while on a call, so I'm not sure if there's a delay. The wifi calling works perfectly fine though, no issues there.

I think the nexus 6 works as well on it, which you can find for 250ish on ebay, but its older and its a little big for my tastes, definitely want that 5x though.

Use a moto g 2nd gen currently, its supposed to get marshmallow at some point, might wait until the next round of nexus phones come out.

So I got my new TV about two weeks ago, but my gaming time has pretty much been nonexistant in that same time frame so I haven't gotten to enjoy it as much as I'd like yet. Though the time I have spent with it have been an absolute joy! I upgraded from a 40' to a 65' and I'll never be able to go any smaller in the future. On the same note, I also wouldn't go any larger.

Next up is a soundbar and sub to see what else I've been missing.

I thought I couldn't be any more smitten with Fallout 4 prior to the upgrade. I couldn't have been more wrong.

I'm pretty curious about this. My phone is just a glorified mini laptop for me anyways, I get at most one phone call a week. Lucky for me I'm still somehow in a sprint employee plan so it wouldn't be a big money saver for me, but I like hearing about it.

I got $80 off like I said, but it's $50 off. If you don't want to front the cash all at once, you can pay it off over time when you sign up for project fi. It was something like $15 a month at full price. There's no interest or fees or anything to pay it off monthly, so that's cool.

I got a cheap but good soundbar with woofer and its pretty amazing to think i played on TV speakers before. I thought the headphone sound was nice too but even they aren't as good as the soundbar.

I've been eating this stuff non stop.

I don't know if the beer itself is any good as I haven't tried it, but the ice cream good lord its perfect.
I've had the beer and it's pretty good. Actually tastes like ice cream a little bit. I'd recommend people to at least try it if they see it.

Why didn't I ever get the PS4 theme for platinuming Bloodborne?
I only received mine two days ago. I don't know when they originally started sending them.

Yeah I definitely can't wait. I'm going to feel like I'm in my own personal theater. I got a floor display of this thing

for $150 last year. Its incredibly confortable. Has a foot rest, and can recline in varying amounts from sitting straight up to pracically laying down. It also has cupholders. :D

I'm going to have to pick some up and compare it to the ice cream. Doubt its something I'd want to drink very much of it in one sitting, but definitely curious how it compares.

Thanks Pharm! Based on your (subliminal) suggestion, I took the family to Julia's for dinner tonight. Jagerschnitzel, spaetzle, and washed it down with a Franziskaner Hefe-something-or-other; not to bad. The little old lady who runs the place recommended it. She said it's one of her favorites, and to trust her because she likes to drink beer. Some kid(s) is a lucky grandkid.

Well, the wife checked her bank account and found out somebody had gotten her info. Between those charges and overdrafts she got hit for $2000. Of course the bank doesn't have 24/7 service so all she could do was use the phone system to report fraud. Sooo...I decided we should open all the Christmas presents from my parents. They're in Florida and won't know anyway.

Screw you beer snobs, I'm having a glass of Syrah tonight. (I don't know where it's from or what year it is, I don't give a shit either)

My best friend is visting from North Carolina for the holidays and has been playing a lot of Rocket League on PC so last night we booted it up on PS4.  Any good tips for an easy Aerial Goal for that trophy with the DLC?

Tried heroes of loot again last night. Smashed way passed my old record. Promptly deleted the game after I got jumped by 3 minotaurs accompanied by another 500 minor enemies. Ran into at least 10 wells before I bought the cup, and exactly 0 after I got it.

Started OMG HD zombies, and having fun with it so far. The virus causes the infected to explode. There's several different zombie types, and each one dies in a different way. The goal is to kill all, or as many as you can, before you run out of shots. You earn money for bronze, silver, and gold medals on each stage, and can upgrade your gun and the zombies. Trophy completionists will want to avoid it, but everyone else might enjoy it. Yes, I realize it's not on sale right now.

Up to $50.22 in my cart. Master coupon user confirmed. Nothing besides sale games atm. Might take lbp Vita and zombie run out, though. A big chunk is from AR nosurge plus. Which I added after watching about 30 seconds of the battle system.

Damn it wren!  Why didnt you tell the thread I got to call you a pussy via a friend on untapped?

I am not sure how I am alive at this point much less sober enough to drive home and make this post.  I will see if I can post a pic of all the dead soldiers sometime tomorrow.  FYI, we drank more than my friend posted since he couldnt keep up with all we drank.  If my liver could tap out it would.
