PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

No one in Armadillo? I think I shot the bar keeper to start off the lawmen rushing in. If once you get the most wanted ball rolling there are no other NPCs to shoot before your most wanted meter is about to run out, then fire off a shot of your gun and it will refresh your most wanted meter to full while you wait for lawmen to reach you. Once you start shooting lawmen you shouldn't have to worry about finding any new targets as they'll just keep coming. Just keep firing your gun if your MW meter is about to run out.
Oh yeah shopkeepers. I forgot I can shoot them. The gun shop owner and general store owner were there so I can do that. I was waiting for NPCs to be out wandering around town like in single player. Thanks for the tip Ortiz.

Roundabout on Vita image

If you don't remember what this is (I didn't) it's the stupid spinning limo game.

Wow I didn't know that was coming to Vita. And the game's not stupid, it has some super bizarre humor but I actually found it funny. And the gameplay isn't bad at all.

I do wish developers would stop making Vita ports of their games though. I just don't see how they're getting a return on that investment.

See above. I know I just sound like one of those "lol Vita" guys now.

But seriously. Why bother? The PS4 is an awesome machine and everyone should own one. Put your game on that and don't mess with the Vita unless you can get it up and running and released at the same time.

I'm sure Microsoft isn't too happy about this. There's an article from 2014 from Gamespot that says:

Finally, Platinum and Microsoft working together on Scalebound might mean that gamers get to play the title sooner than expected. "Microsoft is very hands-on and they check everything while you're working together," Kamiya said. "One of the things we've noticed, because they keep you honest, is that we've been making this game faster than we normally would."

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/xbox-one-exclusive-scalebound-is-unlike-anything-t/1100-6422355/

I doubt we see MS partner with Platinum or a Japanese studio again in the near future. There's no way this project is going the way Microsoft wanted.

If you haven't bought it yet, then when the release the Vita version and have a good sale to celebrate, it will be just like they released them simultaneously.

indie devs have a weird love affair with the vita. I'm not totally clear on why that happened but it hasn't petered out yet. I'm starting to fall in to the same camp as you, although I'd like for games to keep coming out for it since it is far and away my primary console still.

You shut your dirty whore mouth!

I'm glad Indie devs aren't listening to Tyler.

I'd like to see a Vita version of Rocket League. That would be awesome. I could play that while killing time at Starbucks on Thursdays.

#Remoteplay

I was doing remote play with The Borderlands while watching football last night and Orange is the New Black.
fun remoteplay fact: I was streaming 4k stuff from amazon last night and it was enough load on the router that I couldn't connect to my ps4 via remoteplay anymore. if I paused it I could get right on, but as soon as I started it again I'd get booted off.

There are probably a lot of people like Zimm and I who have a half foot in next gen with the Vita, but still only have a PS3. if a Vita version later comes then I will consider buying it PS4 crossbuy, not before even if it is a really good price. Though as you say, whether that audience is large enough to expend a lot of resources working on it is another thing. Since some of these ports ARE coming slow it is entirely possible they are only working on it in their spare time / only have 1 or 2 people working on it so the cost is minimal.

If you don't have the vita version ready at release, then another good milestone to shoot for is before your first major sale, that's the next time when a lot of people will be taking a second (or first) look at your product.

just start the oldest one in your backlog today or take them all to the dumpster. it'll definitely be better than whatever 'norn9 var commons' is.

These games are really pretty.

Unfortunately they're incredibly boring and simplistic to play (at least the first one that I've played), and I generally love games like this.

My girlfriend bought me a nirvana cd box set for xmas that I bought like 10 years ago, so I went to return it at a best buy without a receipt. They were able to only let me do an exchange right there for it so I got sw episodes 1-3 bluray box set. Think I can be a Magician and pound out all 6 movies before I see the new one at 515?!?

I love the Vita and it is much better than the PS3, but it is not half a foot in next gen. The PS4 is truly an entirely different experience where everything works much better and faster.

Because of our 1-2 inches of snow (which turned to freezing rain overnight, and will be all melted by this afternoon most likely) I had to deal with 2-3 "sick calls"  last night for the next morning.

And an upset hospital that our couriers weren't willing to drive out to.

Now school is cancelled and I might be stuck home with all three kids if the nanny can't make it over here.

The store loading in seconds is amazing too.

Still no real sort functionality though.  fuck Sony.

And sometimes it even syncs trophies by itself!!!

Am I too late to return a holiday Best Buy purchase I need to return? I forgot about it. :( It's been at least a month since the purchase.

Yup. Fired up my PS3 this morning to play some Tales from the Borderlands. Some lag. Not nearly the same experience as it was on PS4. I think I fell asleep at one point.

I had a staff person call in with that today. You people stay the fuck away from me.

And GTA Vice City plat get. I think I'm going to go for the trifecta and do San Andreas next.
I'm playing through it now, still barely into San Fierro. Game is still fucking awesome and I'm gonna play Vice City next.

Yeah the "game" is boring for sure. Lag cant help. I was watching football and still falling asleep while "playing" it.

I'm feeling a little silly for this but with the new year I'm thinking it might be time to purge some un-needed things (less is more amiright?). Still have some time to return that Blue Vita to Gamestop, have to say I'm considering it. Not sure I need a Vita system collection.

I don't recall the end date, but you might be able to return it since you bought the item during the Holiday Return Period.

I like the game actually. Not sure I needed a 2nd playthrough but easy cheap plat so why not.

PS3 in general is laggy as shit. I have several games on it yet to play. Wonder how many more I will get to though.

Not sure how Zimm does it.

By my count I only have 15 PS3 games left to play, unless I end up buying something else. I'm trying to play 2 ps3 games then 1 ps4 game to get rid of my ps3 backlog faster.

I think the only game I bought last year for PS3 was Tales of the Borderlands. I probably have less then 10 I really want to play. But just not sure I will. I had a few more but bought the remasters instead. Not having the sleep/rest function or remote play also sucks.

I keep telling myself to start something on PS3 but end up just playing something on my PS4.

I really need to do something like this. I've got about 20 PS3 games I still need to get through, but I haven't convinced myself to stop playing PS4 in order to finish off the PS3 backlog lol. Might have to start alternating so I can actually make some progress.

Yeah it helps that I went through and got rid of any physical games I didn't think were necessary and just decided I'd never play a few of the digital ones. Everything that's left is something I really want to play so it's not like it's a chore to fire the ol' ps3 up.

I think I still have 30+ unplayed PS3 games, several of which are 50+ hour RPGs. I also bought The Evil Within on PS3 because I want to go for the double-plat. I need help.

Yeah no way I'm playing the same game on two different systems at this point. Yuck.

Yeah, the long ass RPGs are my problem right now. A solid chunk of my PS3 backlong are RPGs I hypothetically want to play, but in practice I keep skipping over them because I don't want to dedicate the time. Add in the lack of suspend, and it's really hard to want to start them up lol.

The only PS3 game I still want to play that I'm not sure I'll ever get to is Rainbow Moon. Wish I had a Vita for shit like that.

He doesn't know any better
This exactly. It doesn't seem laggy to me. I mean I think it takes a little bit to update trophies and boot/close a game sometimes, but it doesn't really seem all that bad. In fact it seems normal and just fine. I'm sure once I PS4 I'll change my tune and when I see the difference, but for now I'm happy in my blissful ignorance.

I have about 20 PS3 games I can honestly say I'd want to play. I'm not sure if I'll get to them or not. It's not a huge deal since I have the PS3 hooked up anyway for the kiddos.

I'm just trying to be a lot smarter this generation...and not burying myself in a backlog. It's helped that I'm pretty much a 100% Playstation platform gamer now at this point. It felt good to purge the 360. On the PS4 I'm pretty much going with 1 or 2 games on my shelf at a time. It ballooned slightly over Black Friday, but I'm not going to buy anything else until that's under control.
