PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

TMNT comes out this summer. No reason to think they're getting swamped just because they're announcing Spiderman now; they're probably in the testing and mechanics polishing stage for TMNT and have already had the people who did the initial development (story, artwork, sound, etc. that would all be worked out by now) working on Spiderman.
Forgot TMNT is coming out so soon, but they did have a ton of projects lined up for a while there. Star Fox, TMNT, Neir, Scalebound, and now maybe a spiderman game. Spiderman is coming on the tail end of a couple of those larger projects though. Still wondering if Spiderman is going to be Transformers/TMNT in scale, or if it'll be closer to Korra.

Started Guns, Gore and Cannoli last night. Fun game. Pretty challenging on Normal, at least for me. Finished the first boss.

I also tried to join a game of Broforce and it actually got further. I was able to move around and so was another player, but player 1 wasn't moving at all and so we couldn't go anywhere. Progress?

I just hope Platinum can handle the traversal aspect of Spider-Man when they're mostly known for their combat systems.

Damn, my copy of the division somehow got marked for shipping instead of store pickup. Gonna be shipping to my parents house now. Debating on just picking up a second copy from bby, and returning once I'm able to get over to their place...

Just in case anyone has ever wondered, yes Kick-Ass 2 is a cheesy movie tie-in game.  The dialogue was cringe inducing.  You can just run past almost all of the fights in the game except for the boss battles and a few times where you have to beat a group for it to let you progress.  Very easy but terrible game.  They never brought it to the US store which surprises me since it is all in English.

Didn't Bayonetta have some kind of hair whip grab grapple thing and wall crawling/walking thing? That sounds kinda Spider-Man like, yes?
From Point A-to-Point B, yes. I guess Platinum could make a Spider-Man game like Neversoft's excellent entries on PS1, but if they do what everyone else has done lately and go for open-world, they have to be more careful.

I'll bet that the transformers/tmnt/spiderman games are just money makers for them now. They'll keep using and augmenting the transformers engine for these cartoony games and they'll cut out the whole part of the development cycle where they have to build new tech.

Danny Butterman: Have you ever fired two guns whilst jumping through the air?
Nicholas Angel: No.
Danny Butterman: Have you ever fired one gun whilst jumping through the air?
Nicholas Angel: No.
Danny Butterman: Ever been in a high-speed pursuit?
Nicholas Angel: Yes, I have.

Platinum is huge and I'd assume they continue to expand as theire partnerships with Activision continue to grow. Seems like the two have found a winning formula. Activision has all these fun licenses but we're churning out shitty games with them. They finally got a good dev to work on them and. Ow fans of the licenses can have at least some confidence that they can pick up the game without it being complete trash.

Been playing helldivers more and starting to dig it finally.

I wanna get some of the DLC but checked psprices and looks like they jumped up all the prices when it went free on plus. Wonder if they will bring the price back down for the stuff, its basically all double what it was before plus (like the defender pack was 1.50, now 3 bucks, or hell the the reinforcements pack which is all 3 character packs is 6 and was 3)
They only started tracking the DLC price when it went PS+. They had a sale on the DLC when it was on PSplus, then it reverted to its previous higher price. Best way to get the DLC now is to buy the super earth edition from BB for $16 after GCU, then keep the voucher and immediately trade the disc in to gamestop for $8 (since you can play the PS4 version with your PS+ copy). Currently the trade-in value is the same as the cash value so you wouldn't even need for it to go to credit to maximize savings.

Thats a great idea, thanks!

Took my kid to the park hoping to see some moms in yoga pants.

Unfortunately there are a ton of loud and obnoxious kids around and yet I see no parents. At all. Where the fuck are these kids parents?

I liked this, but then remembered that growing up my parents would have been perfectly fine with me playing at a park with other kids and no adults. Just another reminder about how times have changed and parents are kind of expected to helicopter these days.

Reason #4345 for me to never have kids.

So in all this talk about Taco Master how come no one mentioned the touch controls that don't work correctly about 20% of the time? Either I'll click to drag something and it doesn't drag, or I'll drag in an order and instead of going where I dragged it, it will go to the order up post next to it.

I think it's implied that the $3 game about selling tacos might have some technical issues.

Yaaaaay destiny! A big destiny expansion probably means at least 3-4 new emotes!
Playing Warframe just makes me more disappointed in what Bungie did with Destiny. I now understand why so many people expected it to be so much more, and I'm surprised that a F2P game has all this stuff that Destiny doesn't.

Having a lot of fun on UC4 with Cro. Met a pretty cool guy in the process. He's garbage but he communicates so I'm okay with that. That's not to say I'm amazing but I do okay.

I noticed that a couple nights ago, but since the game was so cheap, I just deal with it.
