[attachment=19520:image.jpeg]unless it's this car. This car is so drool worthy, no one would complain about being stuffed in the back .. If I won the lotto I would buy it :)

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if there's room in the back for other people. Oh well, it's a pretty car to look at

I need to give Black Cauldron a rewatch since I haven't seen that since around when it came out. I remember liking it a lot but it's been near 30 years now. Sword in the Stone would probably be my favorite of the other older ones and I do remember that better. Odd that I liked it, though, since I generally detest all other versions of the Arthurian legend.

I have sword in the stone, one of my favorites :)

I do have an obsession with stories on King Arthur though so it makes sense for me

Somehow, I managed to dig Child of Glass out of my brain as one of my favorite Disney live action movies I remembered renting as a kid.

I think I liked Sword in the Stone because it's not a tragedy like the other ones. I've never been into the depressing stuff.
I don't know if you'll like this book, but I really liked it. I think it might be geared a little more toward females.

Here's the link

It's the same time period.

Edit: there's another series I really like, 4 book series. But I lost the books when I moved and last I knew it was out of print. If I can find it again I'll message it to you

Edit: found it!!!

The Camulod Chronicles series by Jack Whyte is really good. It focuses on Uther Pendragon, Arthur's father, and links Arthur to the Roman Empire.

I like historical fiction, and I've read several of the Arthurian legend series. Bernard Cornwell's The Warlord Chronicles are good, too. If you like historical fiction, his Richard Sharpe series about the Napoleonic Wars is really good.

Stephen Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle is another Arthurian legend series, but it's more historical fantasy than fiction.

My wife gave me the first three books of Mary Stewart's Arthurian series for Christmas this year. I might start those after I finish The Martian.

Good and bad news.

Good: The surgery went well. My dog is currently recovering at an overnight clinic and I'll pick her up in the morning. The doctor was able to remove the lumps on her left side (upper and lower) and what was on the lower right.

Bad: She still has some lumps forming in the upper right. The doctor couldn't cut out more, otherwise it would have been impossible to close the wound. The cut is from her left underarm down to her privates. She'd most likely have to get a second surgery in 4-6 weeks to get the rest of it. Not sure if/how I'll be able to afford it even though it wouldn't cost as much since it'd be less extensive.

Right now I'm focusing on the positive with the surgery today being a success. They sent a sample off to a lab and we should know what exactly we're dealing with in 1-2 weeks.

I'm gonna have to add those to my list, thank you :)

I used to have so many books, I like fantasy/science fiction a lot, Sarah Douglass for example. Also love historical fiction.

Arthur, since I was little has been my fascination though, I'm not sure why I gravitated to it.

The Sword and the Stone was one of my favorite Disney movies growing up, and then I read The Once and Future King in middle school and was hooked on the Arthur stuff.

Hope it's good news on the sample.

I'm trying to remember what was the first Disney Movie I saw in the theater as a kid, I think it was the re-rerelease of Cinderella in 1987.

It's either that or Oliver and Company a year later.

Had another deposition today. Their lawyers are now trying to get a sense of "value" on the case. Next step will be mediation.

I'd love to be able to buy an Audi R8, or that beautiful Acura NSX. I'll settle for one of these though.

The first Disney movie I remember seeing I theatres is Mulan. It's possible I saw Notre Dame before that but I don't remember which was first.
