PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I started burgertime world today. It's fine I guess. Some levels are too long.

folks, there's a reason this stuff is sitting in our backlog unplayed. it's because a lot of it isn't actually worth our time and we just resent admitting we threw money away.

The new Doom looks great. If they just keep it old school and don't fuck anything up it will be a lot of fun. For $10 or less of course. Unless best buy does a $10 coup for Preorder.

It makes me remember that we are still waiting on killing floor and the new shadow warrior. Where the fuck are these games?! Can't wait.

First movie I saw in theaters was mortal kombat. That's Disney, right?

Whats all this then? Missed seeing you post about this stuff before, whats goin on?
Short version

Me and the wife went to hang Christmas lights on our balcony, and it gave way from the building. She broke her ankle. I shattered my heel bone, broke 3 more bones in the upper part of my foot, and there's more damage in there. Been through 2 surgeries so far, and they want to do one more in the next year or two. I've missed over a year of work total, and it cost me my job as a janitor. Which is why I ended up at shitty Walmart.

Gator and team. You all talk about founders a lot. First time I have seen dunderbaks with one on tap. Founders breakfast stout. Looks like I need to make a trip. World class huh?

I want killing floor so bad. I keep putting it in my steam cart when it goes on sale, but then I remember my laptop is about to die anytime now.

If you like stouts yeah, you'll probably like it. Worth it imo. I don't like stouts, but I really like their IPAs. Everyone I've talked to who likes stouts really likes that one.

Ouch. That's super shitty. I've been lucky in never having a serious injury. Never even a broken bone, so it's hard for me to imagine being that damaged. Certainly glad I don't have to deal with anything like that but it sucks that you're stuck with it.

What happened with the balcony? Did that get replaced or just cleared away?

They did a good job with the DA:I romances. I'm having trouble deciding which to pursue; the ex-Templar hardass Cassandra with a hidden romantic side that's just adorable and an all-out romantic date questline that goes full-frontal, or the political Josephine who runs my empire and has a much more lengthy and restrained but courtly romance involving a duel with an arranged suitor and a chaste kiss at the end.  :whistle2:k

Played more Amplitude last night. Now I'm really liking it. I've been using the face buttons, but then I tried the first song on advanced and I get the impression I'm going to need to learn to use the triggers/two hands to manage that difficulty. Even Intermediate is getting tough in the campaign.

One power up I don't get is the one where you lift up off the tracks and fly around. What am I supposed to do there?

How do y'all remember the first movie you ever saw?  I can't remember.  I do remember the first movie my mom made me go see that I didn't want to; that damn Care Bears movie.  My sisters wanted to see it and my mom made me go.  We saw it in some shitty off-base theater that was actually an auditorium at a closed school.  The seats were desks; the ones that were all wood save for the legs and supports.  Not the most comfortable thing to sit in for an hour plus movie when your nine years old.  I think we saw it in the summer, too, and the A/C in the place didn't work very well; miserable.

The only fond memory I have of that theater was getting to see the Transformers animated movie there.  Orson Welles as Unicron was awesome.

All of you guys with all this Disney love, yet barely any of you have played Kingdom Hearts, wtf.
I'm at the:

Riku fight after you beat Maleficent in her dragon form.

I'm not so much stuck, as just got frustrated after not getting past that part my first few tries. Just need to go back and finish it.

My top three Disney movies:

1. The Sword and the Stone

2. Robin Hood

3. The Black Cauldron

Honorable Mention to Hercules.  I took my youngest sister to see it when I was in college (she was 8 at the time), and I remember really liking James Woods as Hades.  Plus, I thought Susan Egan was hot.

Yeah, I need to get to Birth By Sleep soon.

I've decided that in 2016 I'm saying fuck it on trying to keep up with any of you guys on the TT leaderboard and am going to tackle my backlog of long-ass games.

I need to finish Kingdom Hearts. My daughter gave me Kingdom Hearts 2.5 for Xmas. She likes to watch me play those games. I was actually going to fire up Kingdom Hearts this morning, but she wanted me to play, 'That game where you're the little ninja guy who runs fast on his tippi toes.' It took me a few minutes to figure out she meant Mini Ninjas. I only played that game a couple times, and based on my trophy list it was almost one year ago. Kids can remember the craziest stuff.

Not sure if it was the 1st movie I saw in the theatre, but I remember seeing tmnt 2 in the theatre while my parents were seeing Dances with wolves. Since their movie was twice as long I had to sit through the 2nd half of that movie with them. It's a great movie, but super boring as a little kid obviously.

I'll probably be doing some work so hit me guys up if you need another to fill up to 8.

Also party chat should be automatic.

Exactly why I asked because I had Arkham Origins MP flashbacks just thinking about RDR MP.
As long as everyone has a headset, you can talk to each other in game. But extra coordination may be needed because its sometimes a bitch to connect to the game, and some people may need to sign in/sign off or reset their console before getting in the game.

Powerball is up to $800 million (estimated) and will probably go even higher before all is said and done as a lot of people will probably buy tickets tomorrow. If no one wins on Saturday I can't fathom how high it will go, easily over a billion.
900 million now. If there's a rush on sales tonight, I could see it getting it up to a billion. And then I'm running for President if I win it and I'm the only winner. Suck it Trump!

Party chat is the best because if there's any disconnections in game we can still communicate. At least Sony was smart and had the same party chat for Vita and PS4.

Hey it's finally snowing here!

also i don't need the big group rdr trophies, just looking for co op mission buds, but hit me up if ya need another body

I don't remember what the first movie I saw was either.
My first real memory was seeing E.T. in the theater, I remember being really concerned that he was going to die and asking the sitter who took me nervously if he was going to be okay. I think I also remember burning my hand on her car's muffler. (had those long pipes going under the passenger doors)

The wood was rotted out where it was connected to the building. They covered it with newer boards so you wouldn't know anything was wrong with it. They eventually tore down all the balconies, and then put up new ones.

All RDR people, we still on for tonight?
What time? I got to level 50 but that's it when it comes to the online trophies. Are we going to setup a party chat so we can coordinate better or no chat?
I won't be this weekend unless you guys are on after work, after 11. Hopefully you can get 8 other people as I don't need those trophiestar anyways.
Assuming my Internet actually works, I'm down.

I'm up for RDR MP tonight. If all of you are OK with 11pm EST (not sure if that's the timezone Crazy meant), then we're up to 7 with me included.

Anyone up for the NFL Fantasy Playoff Challenge?  I started a PSNOT group if anyone wants to join.  Password is PSNOT http://playoffchallenge.fantasy.nfl.com/group/273279

It works like this: You pick guys every week (QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, K, DEF).  The strategy behind it is you get bonus multipliers starting next week for every guy who has been on your roster a previous week.  So if you have a guy on your squad this week and next week, he gets 2x points next week.  He makes it to the Conference Championship game, and you picked him all 3 weeks, then it will be 3x.  All the way to the Super Bowl and you had him all 4 weeks, 4x.  So, ideally, you would want to pick players you think will make it to the SB.  This does mean you may end up picking a guy who isn't playing this week.

If you really like it that much, you should ask your local if you can get on the list for KBS. That is about the only way you can ever get it here at least. I think it comes out in March. It will be a minimum of $5 per bottle though and that might be all they will let you buy so be prepared for that. If they break it up into single bottles I have heard of places charging as much as $8 per.

Much better to me than BS, but I also love bourbon.

Yea been wanting to get a bottle or 5 of KBS for a while now. Love bourbon barrel stouts too.

This has gotten me in the mood to watch Emperor's New Groove again so I looked up that Blu-ray 2-pack. It's the Emperor's New Groove with its direct to DVD Kronk-centric sequel on one blu-ray with no special features. Then the pack has a DVD version of each which do have a few special features.

One of the reasons I had never picked it up on DVD is there was an out of print 2 disc Ultimate Groove Edition with a LOT of special features which was always prohibitively expensive. Well I guess a lot of people are ditching them in the ensuing years or the release of the blu-ray drove prices down because I was just able to pick up a used, like new copy of the UE from Amazon for like 3 bucks + shipping just now.
