I would assume SOME USB chargers would charge those Vita Portable chargers. Like I mentioned my cell phone charger will charge the OG vita just fine. Maybe try some of your other USB chargers and see if they put out enough power to charge them?

The charger I have is a Motorola Quick Charger that came with my Droid Turbo. Groupon had them for sale refurbished so I bought a second one and leave it at work. I think it was like $15 delivered when it was on sale. I have original iPad chargers that would NOT charge the Vita though.

The issue is that the portable charger itself has a slot for the OG Vita's proprietary cable, which I won't be able to keep since it needs to be included for the OG Vita trade.

Not sure I would ever buy a used Vita.  Too high a probability that it was vigorously rubbed on.  A lot.

Does the charger just not have a normal USB connection for a cable? So you take off the proprietary cable, plug in a micro USB cable into that same spot, and use it going forward. I am completely confused on why there is such confusion. The proprietary Vita cable you are fretting over does not also have a proprietary connector on the other end too does it?

I have a second that came with my cheap ONN case I bought at Walmart when I got my Vita.

Only $6 if all you need is the cable.

I'm just finding out about this game - I think I saw something about it in passing before but it sounds kind of interesting.  it's labeled as 'survival action' but it sounds like it's also part relationship simulator.   also I guess giant monsters can emerge from the shadows like ultraman or godzilla.  bitchin.

Yes, it's got a chunk of plastic in the plastic housing around the USB port to prevent you from using it with a normal cable. The Vita cable has a notch to match.

 
On another site I see someone mentioning the Free Fallout 4 Season Pass.  I am not sure what he is referring to since I never pay attention to Fallout 4 stuff.  However, I expect if there was some way to get it free some of you probably did.  He is saying Sony figured out a way to block it.  If you got in on it, now all you get to keep is the free theme.

better than banning accounts for getting in on a sweet deal. I think that one was EU only but gg sony. now block all of our accidentally free god of war games.

If they can also figure out a way for PS4 players to party up with XB1 players (even if no chat), that would be amazing. If it's just like the PS4/PC cross-play where you just get PC randoms in your games, that's a good thing since it means more players out there, but it's not amazing.

Okay, I need to shoot for finishing Dead Souls and playing at least 3 this year, then. I want to support the series coming over but don't think I could buy 0 at launch without being more invested in the series (and I don't mean by just buying the game.)

 
Does the Playstation VR bundle get 20% off with Gamers Club Unlocked? No sign of amazon pre-orders. I'm not really going to buy it, I just want to know if they are giving 20% off since it comes with a "game".

I tried using starch today in aac on infinity drive.  I did not succeed but my score was seemingly much better.  I got completely wasted by a bad string of mine drops and keeled over 2 feet from the battery on layer 19.  I did manage to pick up a few S+ ranks in the 2nd world though so not a total waste.

I think I'll be fine with the cable that jimbo posted. I mainly just want to get some use out of the two portable chargers that I (stupidly) bought.

Other chargers will charge it, but you still need the proprietary vita 1000 cable to run from the AC adapter to the portable charger. It won't charge through the USB port as I understand it.
