I think the install time I read was bullshit because it seems like it's already done. The install size is 48.23. In comparison, Shadow of Mordor GOTY is 36.88.

First update is 1.5 GB.

Yeah they're a team of role players, I don't know how they're going to make the playoffs. Like I said, they'll get trashed in the first round.

Playoffs in the NBA have way too many teams, but like zimm said it's all about the tickets/concession and TV revenue.

Yeah I don't like using "high seed" to describe the bad seeds because it makes them sound good. But it's technically correct, the best kind of correct.

 
Welp, just priced out the S4 I want when I stop paying alimony in a year and 9 months. 

$51,500 MSRP.  $0 down, but $800 a month to lease...yikes!  Just using MSRP figures as a baseline of course.

If the Pacers stay at 7, I think they've got a shot at beating Toronto in the first round. That means they'd probably face the Hawks in the second round, which also seems like a winnable matchup. As dysfunctional as the Cavs are, I still don't see anybody in the East beating them.

So I talked to my brother this morning and he told me the Frisco, Tx Pinball Fest was awesome. He got to play the new Ghostbusters table but said most newer tables had an hour wait. He also played The Big Lebowski table and told me he's going to buy one because it was so much fun. His wife also played the table and told him we need to

Yep and a base of $10. With the plat and the way it looks it's pretty tempting to grab right off. Not sure why Tyler has been so off the ball with testing these new games out for us. He was late with AAC, too--didn't play it until after the vote. Slacker.

I check it once or twice a day now, but that's it. I used to be on it constantly but then they broke the news feed. No point in trying to stay caught up when every comment on a picture from four years ago bumps it to the top.

 
First impressions of The Show:

Commentary sounds worse this year. It's sort of muffled like they're in a box or something. The game looks great, though. The new default fisheye batting cam will take a little bit to get used to.

In Turner Field, they finally moved the retired numbers into the spots where they were moved in real life years ago, but Chipper's number is missing. It was retired in 2013 (I was there) and should be the last one down the left field line. It seems like a stupid thing to leave out.

I can't check out the online stuff since the patch isn't finished downloading yet. Advice for anyone that gets stubs to start out with: don't go blowing them on packs just yet. Start out by checking out the market and flipping some cards. It's really easy to bank some stubs since there's a lot of action on the market with the game just coming out.

 
When I had my surgery there's were lots of cute nurses around me. I was in the hospital for a week. This nurse tells me if I want a sponge bath to ring the nurse station. So I decided I'd take her up on that offer. As she starts she asks me if I'd like another cute nurse to help. I'm not going turn that down since I'm stuck there recovering. Both of them told me that the doctors kept telling everybody that I was an awesome patient because of my PMA which resulted in a faster recovery.

TL;DR Nurses are awesome!

Anybody watch Shannara? I liked the books 25 years ago and wasn't expecting much, but on IMDB the show has a surprisingly-high 7.6 rating. Worth bothering with?

I watched a few episodes and it seemed alright (I heard the quality ticked up some more later on), but I just have too much stuff I'm already watching on the night it aired so it fell off my rotation, I'll probably catch up at some other point if it gets renewed. It has Manu Bennett in it, that's always a plus.

My sciatica has been really bad lately and I think it's because of my bed. Well I'm researching mattresses now and boy is that fun. Damn mattress technology is serious business. I need to get rid of this problem because it makes some days unbearable. At least I still have the PMA.

Bro, I got a decent mattress two years ago and its awesome. It isnt a fancy temper pedic. Those things are over priced. It just has a one or two inch cooling foam layer on top of standard coils or something. Its still so much better than the 20 year old one I had before.

You're supposed to get a new mattress every 7 years. The professionals at the mattress company tested that thoroughly.
