PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

My sciatica has been really bad lately and I think it's because of my bed. Well I'm researching mattresses now and boy is that fun. Damn mattress technology is serious business. I need to get rid of this problem because it makes some days unbearable. At least I still have the PMA.
Just had new mattresses for our room and my oldest kids room delivered today. Spent a little more to get what I think is a better mattress from The Original Mattress Factory. The most comfortable one was a TempurPedic I think. It would have had to come with a pair of Swedish twin sex slaves for me to pay $4k though.

Bro, I got a decent mattress two years ago and its awesome. It isnt a fancy temper pedic. Those things are over priced. It just has a one or two inch cooling foam layer on top of standard coils or something. Its still so much better than the 20 year old one I had before.
The part of buying a mattress I hate is every store has a different name for the mattress even when it has all the same specs. They do this so you can say I found a better deal. The bed I have now is just too soft for me. I've had it about 14 years and paid $700. I'm not looking for a full memory foam mattress since I like set up like you have with the top layer foam and springs on the bottom. Did you know there are online only mattresses that have lots of positives. They mention online only, you can get a much nicer mattress since there's no store front, no markups, etc. I was looking at this company to see what's out there and damn this bed looks like it would take my pain away. The Queen mattress is $899 but would cost anywhere from $2000-3000 for this quality in a store. The Luxury Firm sounds really good.

Did you look at casper.com?

yeah, from car accidents/herniated discs. I actually slept very nicely on my old mattress for many years even after having back issues.

I agree, but $3 or $4 grand for tempur pedic is fuck ing stupid. I paid about $800 for a quality and very comfortable mattress.
Are tempur-pedic the memory foam ones? I don't like those because I roll around a lot and I don't like getting stuck in my body grooves when i change position.

Looks like Fenix Furia might not have made it to the store today. There are advertisements for it on the front page of the store but they don't lead anywhere. It's also absent from the update post.

EDIT: Yeah, it was removed from The Drop as well. "The release date has been updated. Please stay tuned for more information." Well, what date has it been updated to?

Yeah that's a full memory foam bed right? Look at that link I posted for Saatva, the luxury firm has coil on coil and memory foam and a lumbar support which would help me. They have a great return policy and everyone online says the Customer service is A+. They also make the beds to order so nothing is sitting around in a warehouse and no chemical smells like mattresses that come from China. Do I dare try to order an online mattress and take the risk? I'm going to research more and might look at a mattress store but the thought is already giving me a headache.

No, not really. The ones they just call memory foam are so form fitting that you sink in like that. I hated those. The TempurPedic ones are I think some form of latex or something. Perfect blend of the overall support of a memory foam but with better firmness like a spring mattress. So fucking expensive though.

I think I love the one we picked out. I guess I will know for sure in the morning. It is a spring with a pillow top. It is flippable unlike most of the ones for sale at other stores that have springs these days. Not to mention a real box springs instead of what other places call a box spring now.

Which model did you end up getting?

Seriously, with Therm and Vig posting shitty game news and movie trailers no one cares about, and Kilik just posting random as news stories, this thread is just going to be all news that no one cares about.

Saturday Morning RPG plat get. That grind to level 50 is for real. Happy to move on to something new on my bus rides/TV times. Still an amazing fun game though that I recommend.

Also gives me my highest scoring trophy on TT and pushed me back over Tiptop.

Jazz and Pacers both cruising towards a high seed playoff spot, a first-round spanking, and a subpar draft pick.

There is literally nothing to be gained by finishing in the middle of the pack in basketball or football.
Mark Cuban has made a good amount of profit by turning Dallas into a perennial playoff team. If the goal is to create a stable 45 or so win team, and a player or two has a breakout or career season, a move can be made to enhance the roster and take a shot at a title.

It obviously helps to have had one of the 20 best players of all time in this strategy, of course.

The Pacers did trade Kawhi Leonard for George Hill. A Kawhi Leonard/Paul George wing combo would be frightening defensively, and I couldn't imagine anyone outside of possibly Cleveland being able to compete with them in the East.

PS4 doesn't seem to handle hotel wifi well. The kind where you have to go to a web page and "login" with a code. I think it sees the wifi connection and immediately tries to connect to stuff and then we end up with blank icons before we can even launch the browser. That happened in my kid's account. We were able to see icons in my account and connect, then switch to his account and then it was fine. Not worth it, though. I turned off connect to wifi.

As for why we brought the PS4 to hook up in the hotel... long story.

Utah Jazz was cool when they had Stockton and Malone

now i can't name any of the players on team
Rudy Gobert

Derrick Favors

Gordon Hayward

Pretty good core. If the Jazz had a good PG, they'd be a really good team. Even a competent one would do. I'd be interested to see if they could make a move for Dennis Schroder from Atlanta. He's worthy of a starting gig somewhere.

ProfessorBroman on Twitch just says he's about 75 subs away from 4000. So roughly 3925, at $5 a month. Even if he's only getting half that...holy shit.

Edit:

According to this article: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jesse-aaron/how-much-can-you-make-str_b_6926362.html

The standard subscriber rate of $4.99/month starts off on a 50/50 split between Twitch and the streamer, but is open to scaling with their viewership and streamers can earn up to 60/40 — about $3.00 per subscriber.
That doesn't include any ad revenue, sponsorship dollars, or tips.

I had some back pain and mild spasms last week which is usually an indicator I need to realign my spine in my lower back. It finally happened when I was doing some DDP Yoga in the twisting lunge pose. The pop was loud as fuck but it felt great. I was doing it modified with my back knee touching the mat.

i do need a new mattress though.

Jesus Christ, people are cheap. (The irony of me saying that is not lost on me.)

I've got a bigass lot of NES games worth well over $750-800 or more ebay value, and I put them on a Facebook group for $350 and people are already trying to talk me down to $175.

If you wanted them to start at $350 you should have said $700. People are assholes like that.

I used to watch Broman. He was like Bob Goldthwait with Attention Deficit Disorder but managing the symptoms with meds. I couldn't take it after a few weeks days.

But do you have 6 sealed copies of Stadium Events?

How come I can't play this good when I have a team....2 guys quit after they died on the first round, but we managed to win the 2nd even we were down 2 players then those fuckers decided to leave on round 3. Threw some teabagging in there because fuck those guys. Close your eyes on the drone shooting fail, though. Seriously, dont play ranked if youre gonna quit.
