PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I've already gotten hosed out of a Diamond Dynasty victory in Conquest mode because my connection was lost, even though I had already finished the game and was viewing the final recap when it happened. Bullocks.

On the bright side I suck pretty bad at hitting.

So it turns out Telltale GoT is straight up broken. One of the big character decisions at the end of an episode gets tossed out and the game acts like you chose the other option. That's just delightful. I thought I was just crazy or had chosen wrong accidentally until I looked online and found plenty of other people who experienced the same.

Specifically when you're given the option to stab Britt in the chest or the arm at the end of episode three. I chose the chest, the episode ended, and the preview for the fourth episode showed that I had killed him. The recap at the beginning of episode four showed me stabbing him in the chest and the dialogue and scenario followed that decision instead of the one I made.

I started Conquest and got through one full turn. I like that the games are only 3 innings. I think I'll put a lot more time in DD this year than I did with 15.

Yeah the short games are a definite plus. Love that it's basically Risk too.

Tried to play a regular DD game this morning but dude disconnected in like the second inning.

Now to decide if I actually want to put forth the time, effort, and frustration to be Mother (and all 5 of her forms) in La Mulana, or just YouTube the ending and consider it a day.

Sometimes, just the journey is enough.

Wife got me some expensive Port for my birthday. Think I'll have a glass of that tonight.

#nonbeertalkbutstillalcohol
Oh man I love me some port. Brother in law had a 30 year port that was from 1985 that we opened for my birthday. Legit port from portugal. Was freaking good.

Finished through area 3 in aac. Holly is a lot better than I ever would've guessed for some of these. She makes the random dropping mines so much easier to deal with.

Huh. PSPrices is down and has been long enough for the latest archived version from the host is before yesterday's store update. Hope this isn't a permanent thing.

Welp, this just shows how greedy Sony is towards their fans. Glad I’m thinking about selling my PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, PS Vita, and (pretty soon) PS4 games for N64, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and (pretty soon) NX versions of those games (although I may keep the ones that don’t). If you think I’m “insane” for even thinking about it, then let my “insanity” be the mother of my betrayal. And you know what, it sickens me that people say that Nintendo is bad yet they completely ignore the fact that Sony is worse."

He goes on from their replying to everyone by talking about how much stronger the N64 and GameCube were then PS1 & PS2, because that's a valid argument for leaving because no easter sale.

What?

It doesnt need to be said but I am pretty sure its common knowledge that PS2 has the biggest, broadest and most bad ass library of games in history.  NES/SNES being right there too.  Gamecube and N64 are Lots of Love!

I was refreshing the page and noticed something in the advertisement at the top of the page mentioning something about "MY MEAT...".  I was like whoa, what the hell are they advertising?!  Anyway, the page switched and now all I get are mattress advertisements when I refresh.

I finished all the Peggle 2 levels last night, guess now that I have all the characters unlocked I'll start going through the trials and maybe some more objectives. I don't have the DLC so guessing Gnorman is my best bet?

Kind of depends on the level. Most of the characters have pretty good supers if you know when to use them. I found myself using Jeffery the most though, especially when you had to clear out the bricks you have to hit twice, or when there were large circles that weren't easy to get slide hits on. Boulder to crush everything could make it a lot easier.

I made it to 50% complete on objectives, but I'm starting to get bored going back through everything. Probably as close to done as I'll ever be with this. Might come back to it later, but that's probably a lie.

I started Kung Fury last night.  I am not sure I will get very far since it seems pretty damn tough.  I REALLY like the cheesy voice acting and "chip tune" music though.  I was disappointed that I couldnt find any instructions or menu options in the game.  I had to read the trophy guide to find out that I can use L1 and R1 instead of the left and right buttons.  Should make it a bit easier.

Even though I like the music a lot, this is the type of game where I love to use Spotify.  It screams for some Metallica or other rock/heavy metal to listen to while punching/kicking and generally murdering Nazis.  But since I cant seem to turn off the in game music or even lower the volume, I cant really use Spotify.  I could turn off the sound of course, but fuck that they have Spotify on PS4 for a reason and my surround sound is hooked up to it as well damn it.  I wouldnt want to lose the sound effects and voice overs either.

Anyway, I think it was $2?  Still worth it.

Yeah the Boulder guy was pretty useful too for some levels. I got about 50 objectives normally so I will go back and get at least 10 more (also still need all the specific peg trophies) but it's going to be pretty casual play. Want to focus on Siege, MLB 16, and probably something else before Uncharted comes out.

Go for the True Survivor trophy.

He has to be a troll. Nobody could possibly be that stupid.

I really want to get started on this one, but I haven't had much uninterrupted time since I picked it up. Peggle 2 was great for pause and play, but I'll probably have to wait till this weekend at the earliest to start Seige.
Only done the first situation so far myself. Hopefully I can dig into it in the next few days though tonight will likely be MLB.

Wasn't it free for plus? I think I started it but sucked.

And now after typing the above I realize I thought you were talking about that game Zen put out with the dance-fighting. Kickstarter? Kungkick? Dancekick? Kickdancer? fuck i don't know.

I actually recently watched that Kung Fury movie/show with the lady. It was fucking awesome.
