PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Mega Man update: I beat Bomb Man and Cut Man tonight using just the Mega Buster. My reflexes are definitely getting better.  I'm no Zimm, so I'm playing legit.

The original is the only one of the regular series I've ever played (beat it on the Gamecube collection), so I'm looking forward to 2 through 6.

Finally makes sense why some of these devs continue to spend crazy amount of time and resources on Vita ports. Of course they're going to spend that time porting if the first unit sold makes it profitable.

Made this to mess around with share factory and try out the PS4 pack in mic per Tyler's suggestion. Sounds a lot better than the golds.

Really good video. You should do this every week.

I picked up the Helm and Bad Juju this morning; I've been waiting to pick up a Y2 Helm. I love running a bubble Titan during Iron Banner Control (especially with the Immobius shottie), and now it will be even better with the Helm.

I've only played a couple of nights since the April Update; I'm glad that PoE is relevant again. It seems like the difficulty of the lvl 41 PoE isn't as high as the lvl 35(?) was when PoE was first introduced. I haven't tried a Challenge of Elders, yet. I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Do you consider using the pause glitch on the yellow monster boss playing legit or unlegit?

Cause fuck that guy and Imma use pause glitch every damn time.

I didn't have a beer at lunch, but boss just called us into her office because there was left over beer from the meeting earlier in the week. So now I'm having a beer at my desk.

#work
Does anyone at your new job actually do any work in between all the beers they drink or should I just cap off my jealousy by assuming that no one ever has to do a damn thing?

Lost Sea is gold for PS4. Other than the initial trailer 2 years ago I haven't seen any gameplay, but what that showed looked pretty good. 2d top-down exploration and fighting is something that usually catches my eye.

My 9 year old daughter chose to watch Seinfeld this morning over Teen Titans, Spongebob, and the Disney channel... so proud.

#lesbos is trending on Twitter but it's totally not what I thought it was.

in the lolubisoft department, they're planning on punishing people who knowingly used a glitch in their first DLC for The Division.  It let you attack a APC without triggering new waves of NPCs.  I don't know what any of that means but I'd imagine people are going to tell them to go fuck themselves.

Two of the three times I had beers at work this week I was doing something. Sitting in a meeting and listening and yesterday sitting at my computer putting together a document. Just instead of a can of Dew to sip from occasionally, I'd take a swig from a bottle of beer.

Corpse Party fans can look forward to the original PC game coming to Steam, GOG, and Humble on April 25th for 14.99.
http://gematsu.com/2016/04/corpse-party-pc-launches-april-25-3ds-version-coming-north-america-summer

Localized directly from the original independent PC version, which was previously never released outside of Japan, the worldwide Windows PC release of Corpse Party will feature all the original art and voice-acting, as well as a bevy of new features exclusive to this version. Among other inclusions, such as multiple endings and scenes that differ from the PSP and upcoming Nintendo 3DS releases, this version boasts four bonus chapters on top of the game’s five main story chapters, one of which is a PC-exclusive retelling of the “Tooth” story from Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, recreated with added content in classic Corpse Party adventure style. Players seeking to complete every ending will find that this version also contains a speedy fast-forward function for seamless replayability. The Windows PC version of Corpse Party is not rated by the ESRB.

I'm hopeful the sequel that was only released on PC in Japan will be coming as well.

First Dark Souls II playthrough (technically) done. Now for the DLCs and post-game grind before NG+...

Tyler even if you don't go back for the knight quest in S&S you should kill the Unspeakable Deep. He's not very difficult, just on the tedious side. Play as a cleric and drop your shield and one of your armor pieces (hat or chest I forget which) to get just below 25% encumbrance. You'll have a few spells to give your mace holy damage and enough focus for a single healing spell. The three holy weapons will get him down to about 1/3 health and the healing spell will let you recover from a single hit (as long as it doesn't one-shot you, which can happen.) UD only has 3 attack moves though so he's very obvious. Just be patient and attack twice at a time--that'll leave you enough stamina to roll through him before he attacks. If you die just restart with a new character and try again. It took me about ten tries but mostly because I wasn't being patient enough.
This made it pretty easy, still took a lot of patience. Thanks.

Kimmy Schmidt just recycled a Simpson's joke, so now I'm watching Simpson's episodes instead.  Season 7 was so damn good.

Absolutely shitty of them to do this. They're already losing a ton of people due to the lackluster content in that last update, and they're doing a ton of things to make playing harder on players.

What they're going through reminds me a lot of the early days of Destiny. Back in the first raid, you could beat the two main bosses without really doing anything. Both could just be pushed off a ledge and killed. Bungie fixed it but didn't in anyway punish people who beat the bosses this way. They kind of took it as well it's our fault that made it into the game, so we'll fix it and move on. They also made upgrading and leveling harder with their first DLC by essentially wiping progress if you chose to upgrade exotic weapons and armor. They heard the pissed off players and they've made great improvements to how things are upgraded now.

Ubisoft/Massive was great at responding to players and giving them what they were asking for for about a week, and it's gone downhill since then. Hopefully they learn and can turn things around.

I'm sitting outside drinking a new special edition Belgian Tripel aged in oak and infused with cranberries. Is good.
God damn it how much more can I hate you?

To be fair I just found out about a big bachelor party in Tahoe next year and am outside at the park sipping my rum and coke while watching these two hot moms converse. Good times.

Now Derek is going to be upset that you didn't recognize him as the one who loves those.
naw man we are solid. Derek plays them. He doesn't post links to them every hour.

He does fall asleep on me every night we play resident evil though.

That could mean two things. But it doesn't.

Crazy did you have any luck with RSD?

Guess what?

I got a green Jah tape and 1 vinyl. It was limit to 1 each. The vinyls went pretty quick.

Everything seems great about Enter the Gungeon so far EXCEPT that the gun doesn't automatically reload when you're out of bullets. You hold R2 to fire, and then when it's out of bullets it just flashes reload. You have to take your finger off R2 and then press it again to start the reload process. Seems unnecessary.

Did crunchewy already bitch about this?

I did.

Got the 2 johnny cash albums, the jay farrar double lp, some phish album that i plan to resell prolly, and that awesome looking star wars picture vinyl. Plan to frame it and put up in the new house somewheres.

You can also reload with square (I think it's square - I'm forgetting right this second). I said some people wouldn't like that, but it doesn't bother me.

It's a fantastic game and that's just part of it.

Edit: yes, square and you'll want to use it to reload early when not under fire.

Been using the pc remote play a lot on my laptop, its really solid, much better than the vita remote play for some games.
I tried it on my crappy desktop that barely runs and it was flawless. The vita is constantly giving me connection issues, but I had no problems on PC. It almost makes me want to invest in a cheapo laptop just for remote play.

PC remote play is interesting and something I never thought of. I was thinking I may need a cheap laptop for other things. What would you guys rrcommend?

Are Chromebooks still a thing? I'm more interested in speed of turning on and not having to worry about running my own anti virus than having any special applications.

Yea my laptop is pretty old, its a windows 7 laptop originally but runs win 10 now. The specs they give on the sony site to run it are way over stated I think. I have to do 540p on the res but still looks ok and is smooth. Pretty sure that is a limit on my laptop and not the speed of the remote play, it will work and wont ever show the connection symbol like its about to lose the connection, but choppy as fuck on 720p. I also do it over a wire connection.

Its the same experience as the ps tv remote play, but nice to be able to sit on the couch and use it while having tv going in the background. Wife is watching a god awful hallmark movie while the kid naps on her.
