PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

So was Advanced Warfare for XBO and low stock (under 3) at my BB for Advanced Warfare. So I put it and TitanFall in my cart for store pick up.

Probably just run through Advanced Warfare assuming I don't get a cancel/out of stock for it.

Still on fence about Ghosts probably skip but they seemed to have stock them so if I change my mind I will grab that off the shelf when I am there.
Advanced Warfare was pretty solid campaign wise, good price for it too.

Did you already play gta v on ps3?

If first time getting, 28 aint a terrible price and the way that thing is going, might not get lower than that anytime soon.

And just buy mad max, it was great.
Never did play it on PS3. I ordered it during the Great Wal-Mart Glitch of 2013, but it got cancelled.

Yea the campaign was all I played of it so far, liked it too, but I hadnt played a cod in years either.
yeah, Ghosts has the best COD campaign I have ever played. I dont remember much of the original modern warfare though. I think we agree that they should do a sequel and continue the story.

You're playing Skullgirls on Vita still, right? Just noticed that PSNP doesn't list Vita but IIRC the trophy list is shared. If you're on Vita, did they patch out the issues you mentioned earlier?
Nah, but they're listening. I think they're trying to finish up online lobbies so maybe we'll see a patch whenever that's done. It's still awesome.

Anything I'm tempted by is sold out online, and there are none in store by me. Makes my decision easier.

Great price on teso. They're still making improvements to the game, and the fourth dlc will be out in June. The market has settled for the most part. A lot of things are much cheaper to obtain from guild stores. Game still seems pretty active as well. Some of the farther out areas are quiet, but the main areas are still full of people.

Wow. Never thought that would happen.

Anyone with a data cap on comcrap (nashville I know for sure, I think atlanta area and some others) will have a 1tb data cap on june 1.

Thats a pretty large cap honestly, even when I was torrenting all the time I dont think I ever hit that much.
Still not a huge fan of caps but I think for MOST people 1TB is more then enough. 250GB or 300GB wasn't/isn't enough. Still stupid but at least for the average schmoe 1TB shouldn't cause too much of an issue.

Well other then people who stream 4K TV. They will probably run into the caps still assuming there is enough content they want to watch.

I mean, of course you'd want to keep wren away from her. He's a sleazy old man who gets drunk at hooters every day. I see no problem introducing her to a nice gentleman who could also get you into munkyflix...
Not sure if you want to munkyflix and chill with me or her?

Either way I am going to have to say NO!

I only went over the cap once. I am surprised I have not gone over recently with a lot of game downloads on PSN. I am not surprised they upped the cap. They are going to be trying to peddle much higher speed services here now. If they were going to keep the cap it would have to go up.

I think its also from reg standpoint, they dont want people having a good reason to complain about net neutrality.

Guy im friends with has comcrap internet only, they just stream a ton, he usually goes over every month and right now he has to pay 10 per 50gb or he might have done that deal where he pays 30 more for unlimited (which they are upping to 50 for unlimited with the switch to 1tb) but even for him, the 1tb will be plenty as this point.

So he'll love this news.

RE4, one of my favorite games of all time, has aged horribly.... I can't believe I defended these controls once upon a time lol

And even though I beat the game 4 or 5 times back in the day, the intro village scene insisted on keeping tradition alive by killing me several times before I was able to move on.
The controls are truly horrible. It's amazing they stuck with tank mode for so long in the series. My last play through on professional I actually managed to elude death in the village but got 100% stuck on the gondolas. Maybe I'll give it another shot inspired by uncle tiptop.

DQH2 on Vita:

Graphics obviously took a hit with plenty with some pixelation, but the background textures aren't too bad and the characters and enemies look quite nice otherwise. Pop-in is pretty obvious but when you can see an entire valley at once this isn't a surprise. Not bad, considering. Seems to be pretty responsive--definitely not 60fps but looks like around 30 even when the screen is filled with enemies.

Its not getting localized right?

So after spending a few days with alienation and clearing the first story round, I think it's pretty awesome.  it definitely feels like the first story round is like the first story round of diablo 3 - one long trainer/intro.  the second story round things feel a lot more like what the preview videos looked like - crazy ass aliens coming from every direction with giant ass explosions going off every 15 seconds and way more events planted in every mission.  plus loot.

I really wish they'd taken the time to develop some giant bosses or something.  If I was making a game like this that'd be a pretty high priority.  maybe they'll add them later or I just haven't seen them yet.

I don't think I've ever even gotten a warning. I've exceeded 300GB a few times but infrequently. This is good, I guess, but an increase in speed while not going up in price would be something I'd want more.

It's Square-Enix, so probably not. We'll likely just get the PS4 version.
No telling. No announcement for the game period so far, let alone for Vita. With them bringing over that new Final Fantasy game it's not completely out of the picture, I guess. Even if they don't an import would be fine for this game, I think.

I checked their website to see which games they have on Vita. Take a look:

That's obviously wrong, but still funny.

Just finished Amazing Spider-Man 2. Glad they went with the canon ending on that one. The Tobey Maguire version was a shitshow.

Why did people not like ASM2? Harry was annoying but that's the only thing I really had a problem with. There's not a scene in it similar to the end of the first movie when the entire city is helping him out, which was great, but the movie was good despite that.
I vaguely remember electro's characterization / dialogue to be fairly awful too. And yes, every time I saw the actor playing Harry I just wanted to punch him in his stupid, annoying face.

In for Metal Gear Solid V PS3 for $8 + tax.

Damn, looks like mad max PS4 disappeared from BBY? Would have grabbed that, but now I'm just down to debating on Tales of Zestria.

current cap gave you I think 3 overages per year before they nailed you for it.

Yeah, I managed to get to the page from the preowned link, but when I add it to cart it says not available. It says there's a copy at my bby though, so I might just try in store after work and see if I can grab it that way.
I"m getting the same message. I'll try to stop in my store as well.

RE4 doesn't have tank controls, well not anywhere near the level of 1-3. I still don't understand the fuss on the controls for that game. What is your guys problem with them? Just that it's slower paced and deliberate?

I played it the first time just a few years ago when it came out to PS3 and don't recall having many issues with the controls. I guess I need to pick it up on PS4 and remind myself what they're like.

fuck DQH2 where is the English version of DQB?!?!?!

Okay so a pack in game probably means no trophies or like 6 or something as DLC right?
Nah pack in games have had plats before.

If it's really packed in with just the $60 version of the new game, I'd guess it's only the single player version of the game remastered (which I guess would be OK with you weirdos since you're the only people I know who care about COD SP more than the MP.)

I can't imagine they remastered the multiplayer and would include it for free with the purchase of the new game...

If they dont have the original cod4 mp theyre out of their minds.

I'd love to see a CoD collection without MP. I think it'd be better anyway since it would encourage people to stick with the MP of the newer games rather than splitting the online community throughout the additional titles.

Think I'm going to hold out on Zestiria, hopefully get it digitally for under 10, since I most likely won't play it for a while.  Going to try in store for Mad Max.

No, not as bad as the earlier entries but it's still pretty much the same. Having one stick dedicated to movement AND turning makes things pretty clunky and having to stop moving every time you want to shoot something just seems weird.

Those were my initial thoughts after starting it up for the first time in years, but after playing through most of the first chapter I've gotten readjusted to it. It works, but it just feels wrong when you're used to moving so much more fluidly in other games. But I understand that changing the controls would call for other changes too (mainly enemy behavior) to make the game work so it is what it is.

Probably the better option for me as well on Zestria. I've still got a Tales backlog at least 3 games deep.
