PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

These oreos are delicious.

Ended up getting Hitman Go from the flash sale and Letter Quest.  Played letter quest for a few hours yesterday, pretty solid game for $8.

There Came An Echo coming to PS4 on 5/31. It's a voice-controlled strategy game where you tell your characters to move to various positions and fight a battle. Narrative heavy. Looks like it's the type of thing that could be interesting but will probably not work great for a lot of voices. Voice work is fairly recognizable.

I haven't read the new blogpost about it yet, but I recall an old one saying that physical controls are also an option if you don't like the voice commands.

Anyone know when Ninja Turtles reviews are supposed to start showing up? It's Platinum so I'm fairly confident it will be a good time, but I'd like to make sure it doesn't have any major issues.
One dude who got it early on NeoGAF was kinda hating on it, but he played through on easy for whatever stupid reason, so that pretty much invalidates his opinion already.

Paul isn't even getting his review code til tomorrow (though I think some went out today) so they're definitely a bit late in getting the codes out.

Ear update.

My inner ear which is the part that actually lets you hear is fine. I am getting ear drops and a steroid to keep the fluid in my ear canal sterile and I need to come back in four weeks for a checkup but most likely it will heal on its own and I'll b fine.

Moral of the story. I'll b back to q tips soon!

I think you should get an eye patch, but for your ear. Ya know, just to be safe.

Sounds like gout.

My big toe on my right foot hurts when I walk or just bend it. I think I need to go to a podiatrist. I mention this because I decided to wear different shoes today because it seems to help a little - running shoes. Most important they aren't white. They are silver, white and black.
Ugh. As a lab tech, I hate gout.

Or rather, synovial fluid. They need special treatment with hyluarodinase acid before they can go on the machine, and then to diagnose gout you have get out the polarizer and spend your time searching for monosodium urate crystals. The whole thing is so time consuming and a manual process versus automated.

I played some of that f2p Hustle Kings during that "download these free games for a chance to win some shit" promotion a couple months back. I found it to actually be a really solid game. Lots of good camera angles. AI seemed to play fairly. Challenging daily challenges. Different chalks to use (and buy cause f2p).

I probably would have bought Pure Pool if I hadn't played that, but I'm interested in how they compare.

Important news for Mild:  If you go to the leaderboards in dead star and look at the fame board, you can see how long people who are level 50 have been playing for.  I have 1.22M fame in 2d 12h playtime.  The lowest fame someone who is level 50 has is 2.30M and it took them 4d 0h, but I think a more realistic time is closer to 5d.  So halfway there at level 37!

Also gas in the ghetto is like 20 cents cheaper than it is in my neighborhood. Fill er up!
Wait till Mild gets to Portland. They just passed a 10 cents a gallon gas tax just for the city limits. It's to make up for diverting road maintenance funds to other projects, and some of the roads on the east side are pretty bad.

65% of this tax will go to road maintenance. The rest, for bicycle and pedestrian transportation issues.

So, expect another tax in a few years to fix the roads again.

This is why I live in the burbs.

I'll wait til the guide is out for the voice commands. I'll just read it and get easy trophies on my first playthrough.

anyone going to watch Preacher tonight
Not sure if you or anyone is interested but Topps is doing a Topps Now where you can buy a pack of cards after each episode and the print run is limited to the number of orders they receive in a 24 hour period.

I like how they've done it so far with the baseball season and bought a Colon card they created when he homered.
