PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Finally a sale on some marvel pinball tables... looks like season 2 has 10 tables for $11.

Probably gonna grab both.  Season 1 isn't as good of a deal but still a good price... definitely worth getting considering they never go on sale.

I think I'll pre order Tomb Raider on PS4. I want that free art book.

Can I just preorder anywhere to get that?

It's such a fucked up blend of tables that I have and don't have, I'm not sure if either bundle will yield enough new tables for me to bother.

For someone that doesn't own any, its a great deal. Zen Pinball is so much cooler than old fogey Pinball Arcade.

I never bought any of them.... patiently waited for my day and now it's here

you're playing freedom wars? come do some coop with me!
Cool, thought you finished it. Just checked TT and saw the score... for some reason I thought it was a common plat. Started it up over the weekend and liking it so far but I'm really missing the extra shoulder buttons of a traditional controller... the game would really benefit from it.

Probably gonna take me awhile to build up my character to be worth a shit for some of those coop missions though.

no rush. I finished the story but there's a bunch of brutal missions post game that I'd like to actually beat some day. the grind to 500k sentence seems impossibly painful so I'll probably still be platless but I think it's fun to play. just give me a shout if you ever want to play any of your missions coop and hopefully I can help tear through them.

Probably; it looks like the same kind of artbook packaging they did with the Definitive Edition of the first game, based on how the disc is displayed alongside the artbook.

S2 is a good deal for me as I only own Ant Man in it on PSN. S1 is pretty much a wash as I don't own Dr Strange and the Vengeance and Virtue Pack so the bundle is a current savings of 1.50 with those two. I'll hold off on that one to see if they put the individual stuff on sale down the road.

I think you and I are in the exact same boat. We must have just picked them all up on sale at the same times. I'm gonna double check tonight when i get home, cuz its too hard to use the webstore to figure out which tables i own.

Are any of you guys iphone nerds? Should I get the 6 plus or wait for the 7? My current phone is dying.
Just wait it out for the 7 if you can. If it dies before then the 6 is great, if it doesn't you get to see what they do with the 7 and decide from there. And the 6 will be cheaper.

I know a lot of Grandia fans didn't like the third one but I don't have anything to compare it to since I never played either of them.
I don't remember why but I never finished 3, but I loved 2, 1 dragged on. All of them had a fantastic battle system, that's about all I remember though.

Finished all the main endings of Zero Time Dilemma, it ends the series on a satisfying note.

Unlike VLR, there are no alternate solutions to puzzles in order to obtain documents needed for the plat so there isn't any need to replay puzzles or follow a guide to get the documents in the 1st playthrough of the puzzle. All you have to worry about is completing them. They seemed a little easier this time, it was only every 2 or 3 puzzles that I would get stuck on a step and need help to get past it to finish a puzzle. For instance, one gives you a screw driver and I was all over trying to find something to unscrew. Looked it up and it was this large panel that I thought was just a wall. The screws on it are so tiny you can barely see them on the vita screen. That tripped me up more than a couple of times, being unable to distinguish background objects from items that have a function as there wasn't a visual cue.

999 is connected it a few ways to VLR, but VLR and ZTD have many more connections. So I would definitely recommend playing at least VLR first and not jumping into ZTD cold.

Nice. Glad to hear it puzzles are less of a pain. I'm real close to finishing VLR and plan to hop into this one after. The escape rooms are fine in theory, but I mostly wanted to be done with them to move along with the story since it's pretty intriguing. And just about every escape room has at least one puzzle where I say "fuck that I don't feel like figuring this out" and hop over to a guide. Don't get me started on the expectation that I wrote down passwords revealed in other timelines so that I can use them later. The game knows if I was shown the password so just make my character automatically input them.

I really like the story in both VLR and ZTD (haven't played 999 yet), but I like the puzzle rooms a lot too.  I like, you know, having actual stuff to do in addition to just reading and making choices.  With ZTD I got the trophies for having completed all of the rooms what I thought was really early on.  Like oh, I guess it's just story from here on out...ok.  I definitely don't remember feeling that way with VLR.  I think they spaced them out better.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will release this September on PS4/XB1/PC: http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/07/20/sdcc-2016-pac-man-championship-edition-2-is-real-coming-this-september?abthid=578f612d66253f894c000005

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 uses the "best aspects" from the previous Championship games and "evolves" them. One such evolution from the previous games is the new ability to "bump" ghosts, as well as "intense giant sized ghost boss battles."
There's also a new adventure mode in which players must chase "fast moving fruit," in addition to battling bosses.
