Mild has a shit ton of good games in his PS3 backlog that could have been played a long time ago. Instead he sits through 500 fights in several shitty fighting games. Way to go Mild!
hey I don't sit through them anymore, I have fancy turbo controllers for that shit! although surprisingly I think I'm actually fresh out of fighting games to self boost (outside of usf4 and kof13's gigantor grinds which I don't think I can turbo). so it's back to regular ol games for me.
Yeah, most of those are on my definite to play list. Probably going to skip Dead Space 3 though, I put a couple hours into it with a friend and I just wasn't all that interested. That, Arkham Origins, and Lightning Returns are on my probable skip list.

Remember when Zimm and I were neck and neck on TT? What an asshole.
I passed Bums the other day though. I'm nowhere near anyone above me now unless 10k is considered close. And that's needavacation who I haven't seen around here in ages.

cleaner's got the right idea. I'll start ni no kuni with anyone else that's ready next month. Hopefully I can at least get through the story of just cause 2 this month. if I can get through one ps3 game per month I'll be done with that backlog in ... 2021.
edit - and cleaner if you've got anything on my list just call it out and I'm in.
People here like to pretend they don't mind the cold, but they don't wanna sit in it for three damn hours in a college stadium, especially after what y'all did to them in that same stadium a month ago.
But if you do come to town for the game let me know and we can maybe grab a beer.

I know the first meeting between the two teams will be brought up often where the Hawks took you behind the woodshed and beat you mercilessly, but as you know you had 4 top defensive guys not suit up or get knocked out during the game. You especially missed Barr and Josheph. I suppose you could say the Hawks were without Lynch and Graham too. It will be a great game. Anxious to see if they can stop Peterson again.
And what the hell, 6 degrees at gametime? Not liking that. You can get airfair and a playoff ticket to the game for 300 dollars. I'm surprised the tickets are so cheap for such a small stadium and it being a playoff hungry city. But the weather has to be why tickets are so cheap.
Yeah, that's not bad, but 6 degree weather, no thanks. I think my days of braving nasty weather to watch a sporting event are past me. I'd much rather be comfortable and drinking cheap beer.
My PS3 backlog is a bit out of hand, but I'm going to try and clean out some of it this year. I still have some really good physical games that I want to get done. Digital, I just know will never be gone, so I don't stress about that.

It has been down since mid-morning, the store at least, as I was planning on making my purchases for the week but I haven't been able to get it to load.
bah, forget about the baby. focus on what's important: asynchronously playing an anime role playing game where you collect adorable monsters while internet acquaintances do the same thing.
I'll pick up where I left off in ni no Kunis as well next month...I always forget about okami as well. This reminds me of when we started those themed months which turned into whatever you want to play months, which shortly just faded away.
I'm also down for Ni No Kuni next month. I should be off DA:I enough to be ready for another big game by then. Once I knock this out I think it'll be running through and knocking out some of the shorter stuff for a bit.

If I could get a Vita for around $100 I'd probably jump on it once I recover from the rough financial year I had last year. I don't know when we'd ever see that though.
every time we've had a baby I've taken 12 weeks off and an assassins creed game has released during that time (well one of them might've not had a new release but I think I played ac3). it's what started my addiction to the series.

That's awesome. Sadly I won't get to take more than a couple days off as the bills will keep coming. Her Mom is coming down to help with the baby while she recovers though so we'll be fine.
It's pretty short, and I personally really enjoyed it. Didn't play it with the massive hype or expectations a lot of people had at launch though. Fun, short game, with some decent lore if you're into that kinda stuff. I'd say it's worth it.
Neither the gameplay nor the story is particularly compelling, but it's super short so I'd say knock it out anyway unless you're going to get a good value on that GS trade-in promo or something.
Here's my physical list, to the best of my knowledge. I may have some additional games I picked up at a store rather than buying online (I looked through my online orders to get it up-to-date):
yup, play the order. it's purdy, fun and it's stupid quick to finish, a couple days if you have really limited time. and it's functional over remote play. I had no complaints about it.

The Order has a lot of things going for it. Short and easy plat. Really good looking. Well made. I didnt have any glitches or crashes when playing it. Ran super smooth even if the game play is your basic cover third person shooter. Basically its a Victorian (?) era Uncharted.

Dark Sector is one of those games that's been in my backlog for quite some time. I had it on 360 and picked it up again at GS on PS3 for $0.89. Guess I'll get around to it at some point. But yeah no trophies sucks.
Force Unleashed II is a quick playthrough. I know people didn't like it as much as the 1st but I thought it was a fun romp.
