Quick chat with Amazon and I got 20% back on my Shovel Knight amiibo that I ordered with them.

Since I still don't pay tax with Amazon, the 20% off new games is the new best deal for me on most new games unless Best Buy unleashes a new wave of $10 certs with pre-orders. Also becomes the best place for me to order amiibo.

One of the things I like about most DF games is that they have a great sense of characterization. The characters feel really flushed out, and there's always an theme of snark and sarcasm running underneath.

Yeah it's pretty great. I agree though the $10 cert is the only thing that would make BB better. Maybe this will force them into more waves of those.

Yeah, but GCU applies to all new games, not just pre-orders and games that are within a 2 week window of release.

Most of those pokemon are from gen 4 and 5. Not really anything you'd recognize unless you kept up with the series. Honestly, mew is kind of an oddity for that list.

Actually clicked the link for that though, and I'm definitely getting the Red nendroid with Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise. I've already got the standard one with charmander, bulbasaur, and squirtle. The fully evolved versions look awesome.

i felt so emo in dante. i found a great combo where you could just keep stabbing yourself and hurting everyone on screen and then heal yourself and be invincible over and over. kinda broke the game. those special moves are pretty cool in dante's inferno. that mission where you ride the giant hell beast is lame and boring as fuck tho can't imagine it today

Mew is getting a digital distribution via Gamestop with some other legendaries, so giving it a plush is likely to be consistent with that.

Look at comments for that trophy, someone got it 30th nov using the trick, wasnt patched out in 1.03, that came out end of oct.

Its a little tricky to get right, bet it still works fine.

Today we got an email that we can get up to a $400 bonus if we answer 30 calls per day on 8 of our busiest days for the rest of the month. $50 each day, maxing at $400. It's not a ton, but during this time of year, the average calls per day is about 50 so it's basically just here's $400 to show up and do what you've been doing every day anyway.

Then we get $100 if we work 10 hours of OT a week or $150 if we work 15 hours. I'm going to be rich at the end of the month and don't need powerball.
 
Wow so this amazon prime 20 off pre orders and the first two weeks of release is pretty nice.

Unlike tyler I gotta pay tax, so its a toss up for me with bby and amazon for stuff, bby obviously will win when they have 10 cert for pre order, and will still most likely win since in store pickup has always been good for me, might wind up getting some things from amazon now though.

Either way, nice added benefit amazon did.

It can be frustrating at times, but I didn't think it was overly difficult. If you're decent at the game it shouldn't be bad. Just gotta find your favorite combo of weps and you should be good on the challenge rooms. I stuck with the pike and mortor for the most part. I think I had to swap it up on my score attack play through though? I didn't get all the weapon upgrades I needed to drop or something.

So why are people contacting amazon to get the promo applied?

the last time they had a promo like this with that same text it didn't actually apply to existing preorders even several days after the promo was over. if you're paranoid it also helps to get in early if you're worried about them changing terms or if you're trying to get the additional discount applied to an already discounted preorder (I briefly toyed with trying to get the 20% off applied to my $35 uncharted 4 preorder but decided not to press my luck).

edit - or if you're trying to sneak in to the deal despite your prime running out apparently.

I don't think this is a promo though. It looks like it's a new Prime benefit since it lists it with the other prime benefits and there's no time period on the terms and conditions page.

I'm just going to leave my $40 KH3 alone. Rather keep that one alive for as long as possible, even if I'll probably end up swapping to whatever CE they have.

 
well pharm it'll probably take me a couple months of off and on playing, but hot shots golf ps3 is a 6k TrueTrophy(tm) point game.  and the big shop grind is cut short since people that played the vita version get a 30% discount on everything in their store.  I figure I'll finish it right around the time I finish ffx-2 and diablo 3.  it's nice playing three games that I really enjoy even if all three are a bit grindy.

your day of reckoning will come.

Does it? It doesn't any anything about that on the product page or on the promotions detail page. Mainly since the ZTD release is so far off I'd rather do it now to make sure it gets done, they might stop the promotion before its release and who knows if they would have applied it properly. Often they don't do that stuff until it gets ready to ship.

One of the promotion details mentions that all that matters is if you had prime when you did the preorder.

 
Playing Sword Art Online is incredibly frustrating because they've set  Circle for "OK" and X for "Cancel". The exact opposite they are set for in most games.

The terms say the 20% is off the MSRP and not any discounted price, so it shouldn't work, but not saying it isn't worth trying....

In the Vita settings. Be warned it will change it for everything. So you will have to hit circle where you would have hit X before outside of the game.
