PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Alpharetta is one of the more expensive burbs, but not the most expensive. For the most part, the areas north of the city along 400 start out super expensive and gradually get lower. Roswell is a bit of an exception and is cheaper than Alpharetta since it has been around a lot longer.

Dunwooody > Sandy Springs > Alpharetta > Roswell is pretty much how it goes. However, Alpharetta has quite a few subdivisions that are probably the most expensive of any of those areas. That is just due to there being land here where people could build large subdivsions for multi-million dollar houses. A lot of pro athletes live in the area. I do not know how many times I ran into John Smoltz when going to local Chinese place because it was right by the gym he goes to. A lot of professional wrestlers go to that same gym as well.
Been 5 years since I lived in Sandy Springs at Calibre Springs apartments. The place was tucked away off a side street off of Roswell, rent was ~1000 for a 2 bedroom in the roughly 3 years I lived there from 2009-2011, didn't have many issues or maintenance problems, and if there was something wrong, it got fixed quickly.

I met Ray Lloyd, the guy who played Glacier in WCW and hung out a couple of times with him and some other friends at a couple of bars. Cool guy.

Yeah if you've got an extra I could certainly use it.

The current state of my cord:

I don't think the cord is necessarily the problem (I mean I know it sometimes doesn't charge but it's does still charge most of the time), but I'd rather try that fix before a declare the battery dead.

Thanks Pete! This will do in place of the pitcher of beer you owe me.
Mine looks like that after bringing it to CT with me during Christmas. It still works and I just wrapped some electrical tape around it.

Vig I'm really surprised you passed up that Bravely Second pre-order. If nothing else the 20% means you should be able to make money from flipping it immediately. For playing purposes there's plenty of time to play the first game between now and then, too.

"System software stability during use of some features has been improved."

I've seen some suggestions that setting your Vita to airplane mode (or just turning off Wifi) might help with the battery draining issue.

Luckily, I have yet to update my Vita.
I usually turn off my WiFI for most of the time to conserve battery and I haven't noticed any diminished battery life since the update.

Passed up? I said I ordered one but wasn't sure if I should keep it. I guess I should?

Just came to post this lol. Zimm your vita may not be dying, Sony's probably trying to murder it!
I wonder if that facebook connectivity they removed left behind some remnants and it's constantly trying to connect to something that no longer exists, leaving it stuck in a loop in the background, draining the battery

As far as I can tell, that Mega Man collectors edition with the statue is not eligible for the 20% off with Prime even though it's a pre-order. I'm not interested in this, but that's some bullshit.
It shows now on the page that Prime Members get it for $104. Not that it matters to me because that's still around $80 too much for me.

For some reason, PST.org doesn't have the hidden trophies for Saturday Morning RPG listed on the checklist.

I finished the second episode. It's still fun and the battles are getting more challenging now. The ending fights to the first two episodes have been kinda lame, though.

It is worth spending a few hours in for sure. It is usually so god damn crowded though that it pisses me off.

I really like the zoo here better because you do not seem like you are always about to be trampled by the mob of people. The silverback exhibit is awesome during feeding time.
Gator, ever been to the Cyclorama? It's something to be experienced at least once.

We keep meaning to take the kids to Atlanta for a weekend to visit the aquarium. We've heard good things about it, but we've heard it is always packed.

The last time I was at the Atlanta Zoo was right after they did that gorilla exhibit, I think. That was years ago. They we really put a lot of money into the zoo at that time to bring it in line with some of the more popular zoos in the country. We'll probably take the kids there, too, when we make the trip to see the aquarium.

Columbia has a real nice zoo, Riverbanks. It's not real big, but it's never crowded. We have an annual membership which is nice because we'll just head over to the zoo and walk around for a morning or afternoon every now and then. They're constantly upgrading/adding new exhibits which is also nice.

This damn Diablo 3 (PS3) $5 million gold trophy grind is real. I've finished Normal and Nightmare play throughs with a second character and still haven't hit $2 million gold. I did run through those on medium difficulty to unlock the Hell play through, so that could be part of it.

I bumped the difficulty up to Master 1 for Hell. My Witch Doctor isn't strong enough for anything higher, but I have collected about $40k in gold so far and haven't made it to the Skeleton King yet. This will take some time.

Looking at my trophy count, I'm going to try and make this my 40th plat and 3000th trophy. Gotta have some goals.

I'm still in for RDR MP trophies; especially helping Zimm get those hideout trophies. Zimm, let me know when you want to give it a go.

yeah im just waiting til cainiac or mild or bums is on to work on more diablo 3 bounties, otherwise im done. wish you had the ps4 version, iv got 650 million in my normal characters $ and puzzle rings you could have.

n yeah rdr im def down. hit me up. i need to do zombie survival and advanced co op and maybe some poker stuff

I have the UEE for the PS4. I'm actually playing it now with one of my HS buds. I've just been playing more on the PS3 working toward the plat.

In fact, I just killed one of your Nemesis guys.

We have never done the Cyclorama. I am not sure my kids would be into it at all.

It is always packed but it is something you should do once. Pretty damn cool having a Whale Shark swim over your head.

If you want to do the aquarium and the zoo, this is the way to do it. If you can spare a few more days you can see a lot of the other attractions and with this it is not much more than what you would pay for just the aquarium tickets.

Well I think I'm close to kicking Hot Shots to the curb, got a new character so I was able to finally beat Silver, but the final gold cup has stupid, arbitrary conditions which just turn it into a slog. 10 second shot penalty is about the most fuck ing asinine mechanic ever. Having to grind to unlock better gear / build up cash to buy characters to make it even possible to beat later courses is also annoying. Definitely not a game to buy to relax and play unless you plan on quitting really early. Glad it was only $3.38.

It's definitely one of the more stressful games to plat. Step away from it for a little bit then come back, you'll get it eventually. I definitely wanted to throw my vita a number of times.

Not that it helps anything, but there aren't any challenges in the ps3 hsg with the shitty +1 penalty for time. Also I don't know if the Kat dlc is free or on the vita version but she has pretty decent stats if you can snag her. I eventually caved and spent a few bucks on the level 5 clubs/balls dlc after I got all the stars (you can't use the level 6 ones on challenges).

Yep, only idiots who don't value their time at all bother with the terribly stupid double eagle trophy. It's essentially a giant rng punch in the dick every single attempt.

I'm sure I'll keep at it though because I'm a huge idiot.

I got it I think on the first course on a par 4 on Vita. I actually got a HI1 there with Kat on PS3, but it didn't give me the trophy. And I beat all the stars and crowns with her and no trophy, so I had to go back to the first level with a regular character and luckily it popped and I didn't need to do all of them over.

Oh and character loyalty didn't count using her either.

I have no idea where this came from, but I liked it:

There might be some Ant-Man pseudo-spoilers, FYI.

So whats the deal with The Division Beta? They won't send the key so you can download it ahead of time? I hope it's not 24+ gb.
