It is entirely possible I skipped over it trying to skim to where they start talking about new releases (they didn't do it right at the beginning like they usually do). I guess it is pretty well known that that one is coming.
I just listened to it as well because I'm doing an article about it. Definitely didn't heard anything about it.

They started the PSN list way late, took me forever to find it, it was like 16 mins into the show!

Im not sure why you think they are crap (I wont likely play either game ever, but that doesnt mean they are crap) and why would Sony not approve of physical releases if someone wants to produce them. Especially when the games you are talking about have relatively decent sized followings and already went through verification in digital form.
realize this joker is complaining about something he is trying to profit off of too...

Oh and from stalking this Watchdog guy's profile, he bought a copy on each platform of Saturday morning rpg, lol. And tried to buy more, selling them apparently.

Back in ps2 days snk games were on x-box becausevi heard that sony had hard approval process. See no reason to put tiny digital game on cart, cheapens the library.

So I'm holding back on my AIPD review til Tuesday since that's when the game launches, but the embargo is over so I can talk about it now.

Everything Mpaullin said is exactly right. It's fun and it works well, but it only has one "level" and instead the variety of the game comes from the different modifiers. But you'll get used to all of those fairly quickly too. You'll have seen pretty much everything the game has to offer in like 2 hours. Its fun while it lasts, it just doesn't last long. I'd recommend Tachyon Project over AIPD.

3 diamonds.

We are all for new people in the thread, at least I am. However, you might want to make a little more sense or you are going to get crucified.

What the fuck does cheapen the library even mean?

that's a shame really, aipd looked so promising. but on the plus side tachyon project came out of nowhere for me so I guess everything worked out in the end.

Ok, is this not a psn thread? What have i said that is "trolling"? if its that much of a click here fine. But stoop to name calling when a valid point is made? Thats bs. Retro city could be a flash game for crying out loud. No gta on vita yet sony approves this. I really should have bought ps tv instead.

he means 32GB vita cards are ~$80 which is $0.0025/MB. Saturday Morning RPG is 260MB so the PSN store price should be $0.65, not the hilariously overpriced $10.

To play even less vita games? The pstv has a small list of games that are compatible, and some of the best games on the system, like uncharted golden abyss, dont work on the pstv.

So what your saying is I will love playing both AIPD and Tachyon Project after I buy them on sale for $5 or less.

There's so much to pick apart here, but I just don't have the energy.

"Get it for USD 11.99 / EUR 13.99. PS Plus user get 30% discount during February!"

Not sure why it's actually more expensive in Euros, as the Euro is still stronger than the dollar. Oh well, fuck you Europe.

If your serious you can certainly keep posting your opinions. No one will stop you. We have a lot of differing opinions here but most of us are pretty serious about playing as many games as possible.

Even if we dont like every game, we dont ever want to have less games released on our favorite platforms.

Also, we love name calling and we can take anything you can give so be prepared. We have no conscious.

You're a glutton for punishment, huh?

Speaking of Crypt of the Necromancer I finally watched a video with the sound on where the player ran through how you play and everything. It looks awesome.. I'm going to have to get it day 1. Roguelike, but you can also unlock permanent upgrades.

Why do so many games look awesome to me? I have 0 CAG cred nowadays.

diablo pros: can someone explain kanai's cube to me like I'm a total moron? because I am. the only thing I've successfully done with it so far is rerolled a set piece to another set piece. and what's the difference between ancient legendary and regular legendary in practice? I got an ancient legendary mace this morning and it didn't seem too spectacular. I assume you have to do bounties to get a lot of the materials needed to do anything special with the cube. I know velo kept saying you can take the power out of something with the cube and keep it, but what does that mean? can I take my little pet spawning ring and permanently assign the power to myself? do I get to pick the power that the cube gives out or is it random i.e. will I just get some lameo stat property?

and what's with the keys that are on the map now?
ill tell you all about it, ya wanna party up. keywardens and cube etc. it's easier if i just talk you through it in game. let me make some coffee and pack my chillum first

Just curious why approval standards were higher during ps2 era. I just dont want indie shovelware to dominate system.

Like 5-7 new games a day serious.

congrats on the double eagle mild. and all you guys getting divorced, there is tons of hotter fish in the sea. be glad you didn't spend your whole lives with someone you hated. you got out early and the rest is gravy. now to find yourself a hot cam chic so you can take over my spot and show off your hot ladies to the psnot

Tyler just murdered you. Your dead.

Seriously though we have no idea about the approval standards since we dont work for Sony. But more games dont bother most of us since we dont have to buy them. And we tend to play a lot of those shitty indies anwyay. I personally love shovelware.

I still have a job you crazy old coot! I'm at it now!

The bar for creating/producing games is insanely low compared to the ps2 era - any jackass can make and release a game on PC with virtually zero investment save a few hundred bucks and a lot of time. steam (+ greenlight/early access) has created a new kind of gaming and standards are totally different. but so are the people playing them - the indie thing is here to stay, crappy pixels and all. it's popular. big budget days aren't over, but it's going to be comparatively slim pickins vs two generations ago.

Do we really get less big budget releases than we got on PS2?

Yeah. They both just pale in comparison to Geometry Wars 3, which is only $5 more than either of them. They both have some good ideas but they both could have been fleshed out way more.

as a ratio of games released out of the total, I'll bet yes. as far as quantity per year it's probably not _that_ far off. 2-4 / month seems about right.
Ratio, no doubt. But the ratio doesn't really matter, other than to cloud moron's minds into thinking they're getting less big budget games than they used to.

Im not a huge fan of indies for the most part, but I see their value to others. Long as the game is fun and you get enjoyment out of playing it, whats it matter how much it costs?

An indie game takes nothing away from AAA releases, we'd get the same amount of AAA games with or without indies, one doesnt effect the other.

watchdog just vote with your wallet fuckhead. buying the shit you don't want to see released isn't helping your problem. Even if your problem isn't actually a problem at all.

Haha I just listened to the game list again to get the console breakdowns. Didn't listen to a second more than I have to.

As an uninteresting video game "journalist" myself, I shouldn't be mean to those three guys. But none of them are even the least bit interesting to me.

Also, the Blogcast would be such a dumb podcast to listen to because its sponsored by Sony. Those guys are definitely restricted in what they can say about games. I like that it exists to get the new game list a few days earlier, but other than that it seems pretty pointless to me.
