So are you just assuming that the lvl 6 clubs/balls don't work with challenges or do you own them from the pack and know they don't work? Haven't been able to find info one way or the other.

I stumbled upon Halo 5: Guardians competitive gaming on ESPN earlier. Was that even a good game? The mp looks average but the announcer made it seem like it was riveting and complicated. it looked like rock em sock em robots to me, just a blue guy and a red guy killing each other in a non spectacular way.

Enslaved was fun, getting all those orbs wasn't. I never bothered after I couldn't find one in a level after searching forever.

I started playing Saints Row IV Re-elected tonight. Its kind of fun I guess with all the jumping and running powers.

You definitely should start it because it's one of my favorite games of the generation, but those orbs suck. They only give you a percentage of how many you've found in a level, so you could be missing 5 or 25. There are also no maps for them. Plus, for me, I had to do one level over and over because I was missing some and couldn't find them even with a video guide. It turned out that they had glitched somehow, and they only showed up once I had restarted my PS3.

There are also some during chase sequences that have different paths, so you have to replay those to find all of them.

i said fuck it to those orbs in Enslaved too.  I also hated the ending so it soured me  on the game.  Just getting to the end was bothering me too as the game seemed to drag the last couple levels and I just wanted it to end.  Then...well then it got weird.  And dumb.  Hated the ending.

I got somewhere between 3 and 4 hours off whatever charge I put on it (full I think) this evening. Turned off bluetooth, wifi and AT&T.

I would be happy with 3 to 4 hours. I don't usually play it that much without charging it.

Finally finished up Until Dawn.  Glad to be done.  Was a decent game, but going for the plat made it grow stale pretty quickly.  Really hated how slow everyone moved in the game, even when you were holding the "fast walk" button.  

Was glad when I finally got a chance to kill Emily.  She was really fucking annoying.

Weird. I couldn't log in to CAG at all last night--even if I entered my password correctly, the upper-right corner still said "Log in or register" on the next screen--but as soon as I thought to remove all of CAG's cookies this morning, I didn't have any problems.

so for those of us that arent hip. what does this mean? the game sucks so bad so all you do is jumping jacks?

also wow did they really downgrade the graphics or what? or is that just the video? the graphics were really impressive when we saw that demo a long time ago. it looks pretty basic in that video.

I didn't do any jumping jacks in The Division.

That video doesn't look too far off in regard to graphics though. It didn't look amazing, but it's not really bad either. 

On one hand I'd say it's tough to judge graphics based on what's a glorified demo. But then on the other hand, it was 26gb so you would expect it to look as good as it's going to get. And the game is only little over a month from release.

 
I think I have all tax documents entered and ready to go. Estimated state refund of...$9. Pretty much nailed it. Can't really do anything to go up or down from there, so I'll stick with that.

It's going to be funny next year to get a form from the state saying I have to claim my $9 2015 refund as taxable income.

Wait, the states treat your prior year state refund as taxable income? What the fuck is that? We dont have state tax here so I dont know how it works but would have thought it would have the same rule as a federal refund. Its money they owe you because you overpaid, not income.

We are fuck ed on taxes again. Even though my wife took 0 exemptions, apparently because we file as married they consider me an exemption. Why didn't our tax guy tell us this? The end result is they didn't take anywhere near enough out, though with how far off it is I'm surprised that's due to 1 effective exemption. Maybe it's because her job is part time. Also we only adjusted exemptions after we got our taxes done last year and found out.

Apparently we need to specify an additional amount to have them take out of each of her paychecks. I did reduce my exemptions then too, so that will help a little, but we're still probably going to owe several thousand I think.

I fell asleep instead of playing The Division. Now a nephew is over and they are playing Minecraft on the PS4. I'll give it a shot after he heads home.

Something is backward here. You apparently didnt sleep enough as exemptions on your taxes reduce your income through the year meaning you keep more and would possibly pay some back at year end. If your wife did 0 and should have done 1, you should be getting more money back. Not owing more.

I take 0 and should take 3 and now 2 every year. I get lots back.
